Good job, but what happened to the BRT buses? Shouldn't this pose a sleepless night for Mr. Governor? Many are left stranded at the Bus Stop along the Lekki Ajah Axis. Many residing on the mainland working on the Island or Lekki—Ajah axis suffer daily just because the BRT buses are not there or are inadequate to meet the needs. Mr. Governor, we know you can do this for us. We voted for you, not the people in FESTAC, who will be enjoying the Blue rail line.

**Maize population plays an important role in the yield. This is why it is crucial to plant the right quantity of seeds and not just quality.

In my case, i planted three seeds per hole and aimed to cultivate between 11,000 and 12,000 seeds. This gives room for mortality of 5-15%. If 5-15% of the seeds do not grow, it means I end up getting 10,000 successfully grown plants per acre.

For my six acreage area, i had 72,000 seeds cultivated.

***Let's do a quick maths.

If u have let's say 10,000 stands of maize on your farm, and a maize cob weigh 350g after good Agronomic practice. After shelling it can reduce to 250g.

*If u convert to kg, u have 0.25kg.

*Multiply by 10,000 stands..... 2500kg - 2.5 Tons per acre area

*100kg makes a bag... So u can get 25 bags of 100kg

****Agriculture is very hard to start, but if you start the right way you will become UNSTOPPABLE***

Stop procrastinating and kick start your agricultural projects today !

Tinubu should have used this man shine, in the corruption fight boost his government profile but maybe he has something he can use to hold his balls.

What is the role of the National Assembly and the CBN in this mess? Let CBN devise a bill proposing stringent sanctions for demanding USD or any other foreign currency for any domestic transaction within Nigeria. The National Assembly should make such a law for PBAT to sign.

Rubbish stupid ❌ 🤬 EFCC

Are you one of them. Why is your comment suggesting you are not happy with their arrest? Are those boys doing the right things in the society? Should we allow their to freely operate? EFCC has tried and should be on commended this time around. As for the arrest of politicians, it is a gradual process, of they don't get it right now, sometimes in future, they will get their strategies right.

Tinubu istration this, Tinubu that, can El-Rufai just give us a respite? Did you talk when Buhari was destroying this country with borrowing, nepotism, and corruption? It is easy to repair what was damaged. Do you not all agree that subsidy removal is necessary? Did currency devaluation start with Tinubu?
I agree Tinubu can do better, but if anyone should be castigating Tinubu every time, certainly this El-Rufai isn't qualified to do so. He campaigned for him and one of the major people that made Nigeria vote for him, so just because of your selfish interest, you keep attacking him? Wer don't want a tribal bigot as Minister nor a religious war monger like you. We have thousands of good northern that wish our country well that are better than you.

The so-called Northern Youths have no sense of history, perhaps they should ask their fathers about the history of Nigeria. How Nigeria's independence was negotiated on a TRIPOD called North, West, and East Regions, and how through the use of military the North has changed the political negotiations to North Vs South 2. How Sanni Abacha, ( the worst leader in the history of Nigeria), used military advantage to create 44 local government Areas for Kano after creating Jigawa State out of old Kano state that shared the same state status with Lagos State.

They should not remind us about the depth of injustice the North has perpetrated in this country using their military sons. Now it is so difficult for Southern Nigeria to unite and ask that after South West, it should be the turn of Eastern Nigeria to produce a president because of the greed for power from the North.

If they do not know history, they should be taught that even the North today is sharply divided and that we in the Middlebelt want a separate identity.

This Governor is not prioritizing citizens' welfare in any way. BRT has almost collapsed along Ikorodu Road,Rice from LAke is not availabe in the market and you are blaming middlemen. What will happen if you take charge of your channels of distributions in all the LGS and CDA, major markets, etc.?

Wats the difference between PDP and APC. All of them are the same. El rufai was former minister under PDP. So who's deceiving who.

Of all the people to grace ibb's book launch,Obj is the last person I expected to attend. Wat da hell was he doing there. The same ibb that annulled ur kinsman's election.
I was about 7 yrs old in 1993 so I the violent protests in Ibadan then after the annulment of 93 election. "Babangida ole,ole was the anthem on the street then. So I don't expect any sane Yoruba to grace that book launch.

Abiola would be turning in his grave by now to see one of his disciples,Tinubu sitting side by side with babangida. Buhari will never attend such meeting cos he knew how babangida back stabbed in 1985. Awon eleriibu

IBB gave OBJ the ticket to become a civilian president after the death of Abacha.

Nonsense. Yorubaland is known for peaceful co-existence and introducing Sharia will sure truncate this peace.

To now start attacking Nairaland is mischievous and you have to stop it.

I attended a southern african church last 2 weeks.
No shouting, screaming, falling by anointing.
Infact, no drama. More praise and the preaching was godly living. Guess what, no offering.
But they pay tithe. Everybody including the pastor is working.

Pastor came down from the pulpit, very close to the congregation and was speaking like a therapist. It was like group discussion. My head was just spinning. Can this happen in naija where narcissism reign supreme?

The pastors wife is my colleague and friend. Not until I attended the church after years of invitation that I knew she is the pastors wife. Called her mummy G.O. She asked me with all seriousness what that means. Lol.

There's a church in Anthony Village Lagos whose mode of worship is similar to what you described. Indeed, no clapping, dancing, or collection plate but they have a Tithes and Offering box, and there is no mention of offering during service except occasionally when they are teaching about God's plan of financing. They have a big tabernacle and are located at Campground road. They own the Campground.

How many Kyaris dey this country self?

On a serious, Buhari deserves some credit for setting the ball of these refinery projects rolling. But kudos to Tinubu for not abandoning it. At least he put country over political aspirations.

Please don't mention Buhari here! The suffering we are going through today was caused by the man who served for 8 solid years and has nothing to show for it. A monumental failure. Look at all the Rotimi Amaechi's railworks media campaign, why is Ogbomoso = Ilorin road leading to the North still blocked with trailers? We can't transport anything on the Buhairi/ Amaechi rail line.

I am not a member of Pastor Adeboye's RCCG Church, but I feel highly insulted as a Christian when anti-Christian e-warriors attacked him, especially on Nairaland.
When you say, " his prayers were not being answered......." I feel perplexed if you know the risk of mocking a man of God. All of you criticizing this man must know this, if it were not for the answer to prayers in this country, our crisis would perhaps be worse than Ukraine: Russia by now, you probably wouldn't even have access to electricity talkless of the charged phone to attack a Christain leader as you will be busy trying to find a place to hide from bomb and gunshots.

Pastor Adeboye and his RCCG have helped put Nigeria on the global map and have contributed more to Nigeria's progress than some armchair critics looking for a Christian leader to attack. If you don't know, Nigeria is the international HQ of RCCG with a presence in several countries globally. It is one thing for us to pray, it is completely at the discretion of the almighty God to answer in his own time in his way. If the politicians keep operating without the fear of God, it is still our responsibility to pray for them and leave the judgment in the hands of the God that rules men's affairs. If you say "Many people have stopped going to church", perhaps you are talking about yourself, I can say very many people are still going to church to seek his face and God is still in the business of answering prayer, no matter how bad our situation may appear as a people and a country.
I would like to humbly appeal to Nairalanders not to people using derogatory words against Christian leaders. Stop saying they are not men of God. Allow God to take care of that because if you in attacking someone that God is happy with, the Supreme Court of this word will not be able to bail you out when your punishment comes like a storm.

I have always told myself Christianity is one of the most controversial religion. So confusing. You will see one thing in one part, the opposite will be in another part.

That is y it is easy to twist its words to suit what you want to tell the audience

The only way to truly understand Christianity is to have experential salvation/born again. People argue because they don't have the true spirit of God to confirm the word of God to them.
READ this portion of Malachi 3
6 For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the Lord of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.

12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts.

13 Your words have been stout against me, saith the Lord. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?

14 Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the Lord of hosts?

15 And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.

16 Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name.

17 And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.

18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

The unfortunate thing about this issue now is that her foolish action will start making other tribes in Nigeria and even foreigners to hate Igbos. She obviously didn't think about the implications of this before she started. Thousands of good Igbo men and women will start experience hatred without ing her foolish action. We should please stop hating, tribalism etc. How do you want children born to parents of both Yoruba/Igbo or Igbo/Bini to feel.
This woman and her type across tribes should not be spear appropriate punishment to serve as deterrent to like minds.

The naira does not have value so the analysis is trash. Defenders of this govt will never cease to amaze me. Make people leave work come dey farm cos of bad governance. grin[/qu
Can you look beyond politics and talk economics? Did I hear you say the Naira is worthless and you still spend the worthless Naira as means of exchange? As if someone give you the worthless Naira you won't collect it? Hypocrisy of the highest level.
One of the ways to fight the skyrocketing inflation is through massive food production.

That means if you could plant 1000 tubers somewhere, you are looking at N4,000,000 in revenue and maybe 75% of that as profit. 10,000 tubers and it is times ten of that.
Excellent analysis. This is the way to think . Even if the price should crash you are still sure of making some profit if you invest in farming. Except for the security issue, this is a great business opportunity.
