I think the process is clear enough from the CAC website. But frankly speaking, many lawyers are using churches to make money. And their sweet mouth is an issue because they want you to feel you can't do it on your own...(CAC Abuja is really showing that). Hmmm na wah. *lips sealed* The sincere truth is, if it is not worth it don't worry your head going through hell to make heaven. Providing all this information is tough already, not to talk about assembling the trustees and ensuring they don't mess up the effort of getting the registration done without errors or else you keep going back and forth. Best bet, go to the CAC office and see things for yourself before taking any bill from one charge-and-bail lawyer. Nigerians are always in a hurry. We should learn to get involved, and arm ourselves with rich and accurate information. Cheers. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Mennn! If there are still ANY unclaimed letters ![]() I don't think I'll be going back to Abuja anytime soon. This is what is drawing them back because they feel they need to for EVERYBODY that was issued AP to determine the total number of people on payroll. But if they can't them, they should move on to the next step (Induction or Posting whichever) and place a notice in the newspaper with the AP names of those who have problems. Simple! Nigerians and bureaucracy. We sabi waste time for dis country over small matter ![]() Another issue I feel is connected to this delay is that, the "open space" created by this unclaimed AP letters is causing war among sponsors who still have people they want to be employed. Our OGAS AT the TOP may be struggling to put new names to replace them. So when two BIG ELEPHANT they fight, na "grass" dey suffer am ![]() Let's pray that the Elephants have a referee who will blow the whistle in June ![]() |

Hello bosun, I know a company that designs excellent e-commerce website, they are just like same people who did Jumia. OpenCart is very good. Some use ZenCart and VirtueMart but I have tested OpenCart and it works perfectly and is "responsive" with any good theme you have there. I am a brand consultant as well, but my job doesn't allow me to design anymore, I would have taken up the job. You can email me for their details. Cheers. |

Hello guys, I need a similar web design like Jumia. I found some foreign designers but I'm looking for a home-based design approach. As a brand consultant, I've handled lots of web design projects myself. I don't mind getting a freelancer who will do it. It seems most Nigerian web companies don't do impressive jobs. You can prove me wrong anyway. I know some guys out there are very good and won't cut my head off with fees. The only difference is I'm not competing with Jumia or Konga. My direction is different and size is smaller, but African. Just that in this case, I only need the checkout to flow to a page showing the corporate info page with the summary of the items and total. Simple ! If you can handle this to my taste, give me a call. I have three websites to design. 1. Property/Real Estate (just visit www.zillow.com) that's what I want. 2. E-commerce (something like jumia, just smaller and no need of e-payment) 3. Personal Corporate Web (clean web-design with nice branding) I'm outsourcing them because of my job doesn't allow me to design anymore. I wish I had the time. Thanks. Waiting for the right person or company. Call me now. And be sincere. Business is business. 07057503356 |

My dear NSITF friends on Nairaland, yesterday night till this morning, I was on this thread. I was reading all the way from page 55 till 94,*and still read from Page 0 - 54 to get some s of new NSITF who eventually got AP letters* and I saw that many of those who started the journey since 2011 did not get the job. I cried at some point, I laughed at some point, I was even feeling the pain of many who don't have AP letters - and to my greatest surprise I saw some who do not have AP letters but used faith to say they have (and all because of shame - its not their fault really, its frustration I guess). But guess who? - if you read this thread like I did, you will know who AND YOU WILL LEARN A LOT FROM OTHER PEOPLE'S MISTAKES!!! But I am not here to judge, but just to let you that genuinely have AP letters know that, you were EXTREMELY lucky. I know some people in Abuja (about 50 of them got their letters through a secret route) - just by God's favor. One of them heard about it on a Saturday, sent his CV on a Sunday to his and got the job on Thursday, and accepted the offer on Friday. And its a strong Christian that helped him. Prayer is a powerful thing. It works! And it can work anyhow. Yes sponsors are MORE powerful than sponsors. Read your Bible very well, this same thing favored Moses in Egypt, Mephibosheth son of Saul, the woman who cried to the king in Elisha's time, even Isaac got many things because of his father Abraham, Joseph etc. And the bible says, "God puteth one down, and lifteth up another" The only reason is best known to God. All those who didn't get a testimony since last year, the pain is too much I can imagine as I read the thread just to learn about what made NSITF sooo serious that Ministers, Senators, and Commissioners are keenly interested in putting their own people there. It is this thread that made me realize that life is really not fair. But it can also favor you because another person gave up, or if another person refused to turn up (which truly happened at NSITF in Abuja). If you have an AP letter, and you are waiting for induction, simply email me, let's know each other because nobody knows tomorrow, we all met here and God can still use us to help each other. Also I use a BB so send me an email with your name, mobile and BB pin and I will send you a request or give u my number: [email protected] I pray that God will console all those who waited in vain. And I say congratulations to everyone (including myself who have an AP letter whether for our brother or our sister that was jobless at home for a long time.) Many thanks to people like Seun (CEO, Nairaland), Aworee, Nosyk, Garnetty, Broncop, Jybz, Notfree, Danbatyagi, Irom, Bennne, Timbs001, Oayombo, Aca77, Danto, O boy, Lilodez, MSTIA, Jafar, Galadee, Dotman_a, Volla, Jdaught, Zico2, Adah25, Fabulous, Mr Rector, Puplin, Reinedamse, Flex_sexybone (dis guy cause wahala well well o LOL), Nonybose, Franco4christ, Steffans, DY.TK, Iykay4455 (when this guy collected his AP letter wahala started as he was one of the first LOL), Authority01, Caldan, Ibr356, Almithy, Alphabee, Afolisho, Sokoo, Otamio, Yeyechris, Kayi, Keside001, Rooneyboy, Rush_j, BE811APP, Prettyoma, Gorimakpa, Baba247, Lindiwey, Michaelbiz (*winks*) Bonjovi12, Manby10, Soamsii55, Tonic_baby, Kekeorumz, and all the silent posters and watchers of this thread etc etc !!! Hotdiamond: the answer is Simple. If you are am app/Game freak then the os for you is android. But If not then windows phone 8 is the perfect os for you. Windows phone 8 is simply amazing especially wp 8 phones from Nokia lumia line. The interface is simply intuitive and amazing. So the choice is yours. Sorry oga. Android is the future, although I love my BlackBerry Torch 3 (9860) Smartphone and the BB Q10, Z10, R10 are phones to.die for. When you read this professional review of Nokia Lumia, you will realize that when you buy an unnecessarily expensive Lumia you are going to be in a lonely world. Here is the review: www.arnnet.com.au/article/461078/review_nokia_lumia_720/ Full Details: The Nokia Lumia 720 has a stylish design but is a little expensive. Design & Display The Lumia 720 is the perfect size. Its screen is large enough to display the attractive Windows Phone 8 interface but the phone is small enough to comfortably use with one hand. The Lumia 720 has a polycarbonate shell with rounded, curved edges and an almost completely flat front. At 9mm thick and weighing 128g, it's one of Nokia's thinnest and lightest Windows Phone devices. The Lumia 720 feels impeccably well constructed and there's no evident creaks or rattles, even when significant force is applied to the polycarbonate body. Our review unit of the Lumia 720 was a "glossy white" colour variant which was very slippery to hold and showed up plenty of fingerprints. The Lumia 720 is also available in glossy yellow, glossy red, matte cyan and matte black colour variants. Opt for one of the matte colours for a far more comfortable experience. The Lumia 720's battery isn't removable but the phone does have a microSD card slot on the left side for extra storage, so the 8GB of internal memory can be expanded. There's a standard headphone jack on the top, volume, power/lock and a dedicated camera button on the right and a standard micro-USB port for charging on the bottom. The buttons on the right side are very well positioned for comfortable single-handed use. Windows Phone's standard, touch-sensitive back, home and search buttons sit just below the screen and they're very responsive. The Nokia Lumia 720 has a 4.3in IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 800x480. This resolution obviously can't match more expensive phones and therefore the Lumia 720 can't display the same crisp text as many devices on the market. However, it displays excellent and accurate colours, has good viewing angles and is bright and clear. Nokia says the Lumia 720 is the first phone to feature curved glass at this price point and it gives the effect that the images are floating on the screen. There's visible pixels if you look close enough but the ClearBlack display does a relatively good job of displaying the vibrant Windows Phone OS and sunlight legibility is better than many smartphones on the market. Software & Performance The Nokia Lumia 720 runs the latest version of Microsoft's Windows Phone platform, Windows Phone 8. One of the best feature of Windows Phones is the fact that the experience is virtually identical on all models, despite the price range. Nokia's range of apps and features are significantly impressive. The Here Maps application is more comprehensive than Apple Maps and even betters Google Maps on Android phones in some ways. It allows you to a range of maps from entire countries to use when you don't have any mobile network coverage. In addition, Here Drive Beta provides free turn-by-turn navigation in a clean and easy to navigate layout. The ability to maps means the navigation service doesn't use any mobile data, just the Lumia 720's built-in GPS chip. The Windows Phone 8 OS itself also has some excellent core features. All s receive 7GB of SkyDrive Storage for free. The built-in, free Microsoft Office app handles Word and Excel documents with ease and is without a doubt the best office client on any mobile platform. The Xbox Music service is also decent value at $11.99 per month or $119.90 per year for unlimited music streaming. The biggest downside to the Nokia Lumia 720 is a lack of popular third-party apps. Many apps we use on a daily basis on iOS and Android simply aren't available on Windows Phone. The store continues to expand and improve over time, but the price of paid apps on the Windows Phone platform seem higher than competing platforms. This is a particular concern for mid-range handsets like the Lumia 720. The Nokia Lumia 720 offers excellent performance. The 1GHz dual-core processor and 512MB of RAM might not sound like much on paper but they make for a smooth and fast experience. Scrolling is smoother than almost any Android phone, there is no lag when switching between apps and performance is consistent and snappy. There is one significant issue with the Lumia 720's 512MB of RAM, however. There are some games in the Windows Store that require a minimum of 1GB to work. The likes of Temple Run and Real Football are two examples of games that therefore aren't compatible with the Lumia 720. Camera & Battery Life The Lumia 720 has a 6.7-megapixel camera with a Carl Zeiss lens and an f/1.9 aperture. The company claims the latter is bigger than almost any high-end smartphone on the market and will therefore capture better photos in low-light conditions. The camera can't record full HD video, topping out at a maximum of 720p. Video quality is excellent for a phone in this price range. The Lumia 720 produces impressive photos in low light, even if you don't use the single-LED flash. Photos outdoors in good light are a little less impressive. In these kinds of environments, we found that the Lumia 720's camera produced images with dull colour. The Lumia 720 also includes a 1.3-megapixel camera with a wide-angle lens, which means you can capture more area than most other front-facing smartphone cameras. We found it worked well for front-facing video calls through Skype. The Lumia 720 comes preloaded with a number of Nokia's existing digital camera lens apps, including the Cinemagraph, Smart Shoot, and Panorama lens, while the 'Glam Me' lense can be installed for free from the Windows Marketplace. The latter is a filter that allows s to spruce up "selfies" captured with the front camera. These are all valuable additions, but they open in a seperate app to the camera despite being present in the options menu, which is annoying. The Nokia Lumia 720 doesn't include native wireless charging but Nokia sells an optional snap-on cover that includes wireless charging capabilities. The Nokia Lumia 720 has excellent battery life. It easily lasted a full day during our testing, and if you forget to charge it overnight you should find that it will last a few hours into a second day. ***End*** So guys, shine your eyes. The whole world is running Android! Nokia (NOK) stocks dropped because they went in partnership with Microsoft (W8) when they could have killed the market with Android and gotten more lovers. Don't be deceived the phone is selling in Europe faster than anywhere else. BlackBerry is a smarter company. The BBM move to Android & iOS platforms is a tough decision but its to capture more s rather than miss out in a changing world. If Blackberry made BBM - they can make anything when they get to Android! What do you think? We are all learning in business. |

cecegorz: You just took the words out of my mouth. I feel BlackBerry is ready to fight for their most 'outstanding' trademark - BBM. And that is because they know they can do it better, and deliver better. But I'm surprised a lot of people are celebrating the decision to attack BlackBerry s or fans. (I'm suspecting Nokia & Tecno chinko brothers) ![]() What is important in business is the future and the trends of competition. BlackBerry wants to help s of BB OS 6.0 and older to a minimum of BB OS 7.0 Smartphones (so that they can experience BBM Voice, WiFi and faster s etc) and also for the BB OS 10 to become the new beginning - Z10, Q10, R10 - sweet phones to die for. sniperwolf: BlackBerry has lost its franchise. They should be thinking of manufacturing a phone that will run Android OS. Now I asked myself this question too. And this is my conclusion, BlackBerry runs the most secure mobile server in the world which is based on the BB OS. (you can't beat this with your Android or iOS). A lot of corporate businesses depend on this and they know it is a powerful tool. I would have only advocated they create a single model of BlackBerry running Android, let's say R10 instead of stopping the entire BB OS. But sorry, if you use Android on Tecno phone ![]() ![]() It's like having Opera Mini on Tecno, Java on Tecno, chinko na chinko ! ![]() I'm just sorry for Nokia s. Nokia will change their branding from 'Connecting People' to 'For Calls Only' ![]() ![]() LOL. |

xtonuns: Finally, induction is this month...from a reliable source..get ur things ready... bonjovi12: hello house, Which of this two do.we believe? Please be sincere and be totally honest. Many young people are depending on this thread. Some of them are getting really scared. I know some staff in NSITF don't even have a clue. So tell the house how sure you are in order not to mislead people and what is required of the new employees? Thanks. 1 Like |

Sammy107_d: You all are right. Customer service/communication is critical. I really believe we'll see more and more improvements. Glad you got your refund Papa giddy. I hope they apologised profusely. The opportunities Jumia promises is profound... Mr. Sammy, I took some time to read every comment you have written on this thread, and Seun came to your rescue. I still feel you are fronting for Jumia and it seems you work there or own a stake. Correct me if I am wrong, anyway. But the issues are clear and well spelt-out. Customers are NOT happy with Jumia, and for whatever reason I thought you would show them some respect and attend to their claims in the bid to defend the 'Kasuwa' rebrand, but you didn't. You just enjoy arguing and that would hurt your new 'Jumia' brand more. Hope you have learnt your lesson after chasing them away. *shaking_my_head* |

Yes. Correct. Will give you the details later. I can't specify the exact salary scale adjustment for this year. TFSS1 and TFSS2 please update me. I know TFSS3. Also TFSS4 update me please. *pls the exact figure written as total*
Well, no need to gun for Abuja. You will be posted back to your state branch or your residential location. 'If you don't want our letter, you can return a letter of rejection of offer.' So many people still need it. Keep you posted. Great job all of you. 1 Like |

uzorp77: @all, please does anybody understand the salary structure? What does TFSS mean and what is the nature of this job that is causing so much ripples in naija? There are two major departments for the new in-takes. 1. istration 2. Enforcement The "" usually is the internal system running the day to day operations of NSITF in conjuction with other arms of the Ministry of Labour and other parastatals like Pension Trust Fund @ Labour House, CBD, Abuja usually processing one thing or the other (depending on the requests put forward). The / Operations is a huge department, because of the different areas covered like ing, IT, Legal, HR, etc and depending on the state branch you are posted, you may not really understand the size and the relationship between branches, because NSITF is a parastatal. But here in Abuja, the relationship is clear. Enforcement is the real reason why you were employed. Enforcement is the new focus of the NSITF because the covering Ministry of Labour under which you operate needs to generate revenue with NSITF. Those who are in the Enforcement arm will be officers who go out to bring in the reforms and the revenue. It does not mean you are police officers, it only means you are to bring in revenue from various areas such as are stated in the NSITF Act: a) Contributions by under the contributory components of the scheme; b) A percentage deduction from the Consolidated Revenue Fund; c) A percentage deduction from Value Added Tax (VAT); d) A percentage of Excess Crude Oil proceeds; e) Excess profit (above the average cost of capital and an allowance for a reasonable rate of return on investment; to be reviewed annually); f) Unclaimed dividends after stipulated number of years; g) Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) funds and similar intervention funds; h) Percentage of Excise Duty; i) Contribution from the statutory allocations to the state and Local Governments Some of these areas are already taken care of internally, but the ones that are problem-areas where officers need to work upon will be the job of the day. Officers may be working in groups as the case may be. Some people have insulted me here. We shall see! I hope the answers are clear enough now. Cheers. 1 Like |

sakeo0009: My dear; you said you got AP for Officer 2. Pls what salary scale does that fall into. I am aware Officer 1 has various cadres, TFSS1, TFSS2, TFSS3 and TFSS4. So pls kindly explain maybe what you meant is TFSS2. Thanks expecting your reply. FYI: Salary per annum TFSS2 is somewhere around N850,000 or more+ TFSS3 is exactly N920,265.62 TFSS4 is N1,200,000+ If you haven't gotten your letter by now, 30 days from 10th of March, 2013 completes on Mon/Tue 8th/9th of April, 2013. So I wonder how you'll get to the office in less than 24hours. Also most of you don't know the difference btw the NSITF Head Quarters and Abuja Branch Office. If you live in Abuja, the letters (Acceptance of Offer) are being submitted in Abuja Branch Office (read my earlier post to get the address) I hope I have answered a lot of questions here. Good luck :-) |

I am a guru in computers apart from being an excellent science graduate. Ok? So wait and open your ears very well. As far as Nigeria or any West African country is concerned, Blackberry is the phone to have!!! 1. the popularity is there, meaning your calls are less so you can quickly 'ping' a and have all the details in a jiffy. Whether PDF file, MS Doc, Excel PowerPoint Videos, or Images, You can even .EXE files or any Application software on your Blackberry, and watch your movies on-the-go. Pls pls pls! Blackberry is doing great and its even more affordable. If those companies know how much Blackberry made in these past difficult years from Africa alone, they would go and sit down and draw a plan to make their smartphones less data wasteful. 2. A BIS monthly plan is N1,500 max with 3GB from Glo, 1.5GB from MTN and Unlimited or at least 6GB from Etisalat (which is okay at least better than the need for Cybercafe or Modem to be online 24/7 3. Business or Pleasure: Blackberry is capable!!! All those apps you have on HTC and Apple iPhone are totally unnecessary here in Nigeria. (Who get time for nonesense app. Mtcheew!!!) 4. All the Smartphones (call any model) they all have battery limitations once you are on 3G or HSDPA because of the constant data packets running down the battery. So tell me, what is so unique about those phones when they cannot do anything extraordinary when you are in Nigeria? Abeg!!! Blackberry is what is making our life sweet here, we are not stupid! Now uneducated people who could not operate Nokia 3310 can now operate Blackberry smartphones because of the simplicity of the platform. Education is now accessible, people are more enlightened about what their leaders are doing with party politics. Why? Because Blackberry gave them easy and CHEAP ACCESS to social networking tools like Twitter, Facebook and WhatsApp. Are you not seeing the BIG PICTURE ![]() Some of us have automobile companies selling cars online ing images, so your HTC and iPhone cannot do anything more for our business. Get that very clear and leave the girls alone to take photos; you didn't buy the phone for them. I rest my case, mr.classy phone. Mtcheewwwww |

I just received credible info this morning. Glo 3GB BIS subscription stopped working yesterday. Please ask around, I want to know if you have the same confirmation. It seems APN: blackerry.net has been altered from Glo somehow. At least, that is what the IT expert told me and he said it just happened yesterday, so please everyone confirm and post here. Cheers. |
