I was heartbroken on Friday, but let's not beat up ourselves over this thing.

I think we in the social sciences were not favored in the recruitment at all. Asides engineering and IT candidates, the peeps dat made it were mostly ing or finance related graduates or those that had some sort of experience in that field.

While I believe NNPC as a corporation know what they want as regards manpower, I just think they should have saved us the trouble of thinking there can really be a place for us. And I also think they also favored the somewhat experienced GTs too...

Anyways, no matter what... We move!!!

I'll be turning 27 in few weeks, but someway somehow I still feel I'm about to have my best years yet.

I just ed my pre-interview experience.
Was just chilling and waiting for my interview day.... 2 days before I was to leave to Abuja, brought out my documents and found out that my NIM slip has gone on sabbatical!

Started running like a mad woman to get it all to no avail

Finally, I came to Abuja a day to my interview and went straight to Immigration where I got a reprint in less than 30mins.

Things like this diminish my hope for a better Nigeria, 3 whole years? I was still trying to wrap my head around 18 months i heard earlier, NNPC has not recruited since 2012 (Xfire set that we know of, not back door parole) so for 7 years and counting people had not retired or moved on for them to urgently need new hands? I thought that as Buhari is the 2nd time petroleum minister that this would be different, that a new trend would be set in motion, but perhaps change is to be forever alien in our 59 yo country? SAD

As for those using peoples emotions to play tin-ko and catch trips by peddling false information there is God, just like the guy that promised to help connect to a job but only wanted to use the offer to trend, and clout, when nobody sent him, he vanished, same with people that drop random comments like my brother paid 50 million for slot and got APL hoping to scam desperate people, please desist from such.
