This is a deeply unfortunate and troubling incident. While the Nigerian Air Force has a critical role in combating terrorism, the loss of innocent lives—especially those of local vigilantes who were actively defending their community—is heartbreaking. The confusion and lack of coordination between ground forces and air assets raise serious concerns about operational efficiency and intelligence sharing. It is commendable that the military was proactive in preventing further attacks, but incidents like this highlight the need for better communication between security agencies and local defenders. Vigilantes play a crucial role in many communities affected by insecurity, often stepping in where formal security forces are limited. Losing them in a mistaken strike is not just tragic—it discourages grassroots efforts in the fight against terrorism. The government must ensure a transparent investigation into what happened and take necessary measures to prevent such errors in the future. More importantly, families of the deceased deserve acknowledgment and , not just a ing statement of regret. The fight against terrorism should not come at the cost of innocent lives. 1 Like |

This is quite an interesting move by MTN South Africa. As a Nigerian, I can’t help but wonder when we’ll see something similar here. The idea of getting 5G home connectivity delivered like a takeaway meal is brilliant—fast, convenient, and completely in tune with modern digital expectations. However, while this sounds great on paper, execution will be key. Our logistics and infrastructure here in Nigeria would need to such rapid delivery. Traffic conditions, demand levels, and the efficiency of last-mile delivery will determine how feasible something like Shesha@5G would be if introduced here. That said, it’s exciting to see MTN pushing the boundaries of connectivity. 5G has the potential to revolutionize how we work and interact, and simplifying access like this could be a game changer. If MTN Nigeria or any other provider were to adopt this model, it would certainly shake things up. 1 Like |

HE Peter Obi helped carry mine couple of days ago even without asking for help. I had two bags and he had non. He opted to carry one as we discussed along. He is a nice Man and that is just who he is. U can’t change that. Beat urself to death for that. If u don’t get it then forget it. Nija is already a wicked country where there is no genuine love and kindness. Wickedness is the order of the day. The worst issue is the fact that most of our youth are unprepared for the future. We here breaking our hearts for Peter Obi, Tinubu and co. They have nothing to loose people. “Wicked country, wicked youth”.

@Righteousness, in as much I share some of ur evangelical views, I disagree and as well disregard some of your views. It’s a biblical error to say that people will burn in hell forever. It’s even illogical. What kind of God will create people only for them to die in sin and burn forever in hell. It then means you too will burn because no man is good nor righteous. Eternal destruction of unrighteousness people simply means the absence of Gods presence. Stop misrepresenting the character of God. I come in peace. Thank you.

This platform is a platform where wicked Nigerians show it. This is the only place they fight stupidity instead of improving our knowledge and thoughts. How can a blind man lead a blind man? Naira landers are the most senseless people where wickedness thrive.

In the United States, a sheriff is typically an elected official who is responsible for law enforcement in a county. Sheriffs oversee activities such as serving legal documents, operating county jails, and providing courthouse security. A police officer, commonly referred to as a cop, works for a municipal police department or a state law enforcement agency. They are responsible for maintaining law and order within a specific jurisdiction, such as a city or town, and often have more specialized roles like traffic enforcement or investigation of specific crimes. While both sheriffs and cops have law enforcement responsibilities, they operate in different jurisdictions and may have different areas of focus and authority. |

Well in my opinion that wasn’t the best advice for single ladies. Your child ir children is/are not your retirement plan. Our society is filled with children without direction because of an intentional act of single handedly raising a child as a single mother. I can say in life it’s 50:50 ratio. Either it pays you or it mars you. Bringing up children requires a father and mother. But I’m the case of death of one parent, it’s quite understandable than for a lady to intentionally go for children for the purpose of being a single mother. Children dey see their mama finish ooo and most times the woman looses it…every other thing spins out of control. As I said before, life na 50:50. 6 Likes |
