even with your test score, so many things can be considered such as class of degree etc for a final consideration. so just relax your mind and pray to God for help. it not by scoring 100%.

You got it wrong bro, it starts from this stage. Number of candidates for interview from each will depend on the number of slots allocated to that State, usually in a ratio. NNPC adopted 1:7, meaning for every seven candidates interviewed, one must get in.

there is no way it will be 70% or 75% for all state in nigeria or all discipline. so whoever is telling you that is not saying the write thing. federal character must play out. Don't be surprise even 20% will make it to the final stage. even those that didnt write the test can still get the job. so take it easy while you are giving people high blood pressure.

Yeah I get your point. And that’s why I think the lesser the staff the more extra allowances you have like you said. Oh I didn’t know PTDF had less staff than PPRA. I learnt PPRA is about 250 ( from the senate public hearing investigating their ridiculous pay).

And yeah, any other person might be right about the reason for the difference in allowances. I can’t claim to authoritatively know to be honest. It was even a former colleague who now works with NNPC that was giving me the analysis as to why other smaller agencies pay better than NNPC.

That was before they recruited in 2019.

That’s an exaggeration. All the agencies you’ve mentioned are under MPR.....and like I said earlier, remuneration is the same in of basic, only allowances differ due to staff strength. On that note, maybe PEF could have the advantage due to very few staff compared to these other popular ones......but using the word “learning” is an obvious exaggeration. And please note that I only said “maybe”.

To give you context, read up any of the agencies’ ACTS and you’d see that it’s even on paper that remuneration should be the same with any similar agency in the MPR. I’m not forcing this down your throat, please feel free to read up anyone. I can help you with one if you so ask.

I understand you. There is a difference between working in a federal ministry and working in a federal agency/parastatal. That person you are talking about worked in a federal ministry not an agency. The agencies and parastatals pay way higher. As it is now, only a high paying federal agency would be able to entice me away from the private sector. And truth be told, even NCDMB is not Eldorado. There are even better places and if the opportunity comes, I will grab too. May God help us all.

even at that, your several years of experience in the private sector is not considered in the government jobs. so its like starting afresh. unless you have a higher degree

the problem with us is comparing jobs. when you get any one. grab it first. upfront or no upfront should not be the priority. you have not gotten a job and you are busy comparing which one pays better. please grab any job you see. if you are lucky to get the high paying job, then fine. you can still get a low paying job and move to a high paying job latter.

Only changes in our portal will tell give us an idea when it will be. Dpr will not do anything without updating the portals. it happened during the test and interview days. Guys my advice is to observe your portal. Ours may not be like the ONDs that do not have portal and depended totally on phone calls. The end is truly near but i am not sure of this new week. For me prepare for end of february or first week of march. Dpr must surely use their portal.

I think dpr will use the portal and text message to people this time. When we begin to see changes in the portal then its over. Observe your portal. It will be used till d end.

Everyone can now see that the list is not ready. When TAMIHAWT said it here people attacked her. They never knew that the list they were talking of is the OND list. They we all can now see how accurate TAMI have been with her info. The ' I too know' here have ended up chasing her away from the thread but we thank God some people have her .
