Please I need your help concerning my application.

My wife is currently studying in Canada (since September), and I want to apply for SOWP for myself and SP for our 9 year old daughter.

Although I don't intend to stay in Canada till her program ends as I have businesses I'm running in Nigeria and my other children will also be in Nigeria. I would have applied for a visitor visa but I want SOWP so that I will be able to work whenever I am in Canada.

As for my daughter, I want to apply for Study permit for her because she will be staying with my wife till she (my wife) completes her study in August 2024.

These are my questions sirs/mas:

1. Can I use the new portal to apply for SOWP? Someone once mentioned that the new portal can't be used for SOWP application.

2. If I want to use the old portal (GC Key), is there anything that will link our applications with my wife?

3. Will I be able to apply for both SOWP and SP in a single application? I mean using one to submit both applications (SOWP and SP).

4. Will my application for SOWP fly given that I do not intend to stay with my wife all through her study period?

5. What are the IMM forms I need to for both applications?

Please my friend who applied to Conestoga College May intake didn't receive application decision on time after 2 months of submission. She finally decided to defer till Fall intake. Unfortunately the PPR came a day after she had deferred. She has been trying to reach the school to tell them to cancel the deferral so that she can resume ASAP but the school hasn't replied her emails and when she tried calling it was entering voicemail.
Is there a phone number she can call? Her campus is Kitchener.

My medical ed on May 3rd and my port request was on May 6th. Maybe you should send a message.

You can use the old portal if you have more documents to as it allows for 4MB maximum per placeholder.

You can use the new portal if you don't have too many documents to , if you don't intend to apply with your spouse for SOWP, and if you don't want the stress of IMM forms. It allows for 2MB maximum per placeholder.

Hello house. Today makes it 2 weeks since my medical changed to 'ed' on my application portal but I haven't heard anything from IRCC after then. My application would be exactly 1 month on 13th May. Do you think I should raise webform to know the status?

You are not alone on this one. I submitted my application on 13th April together with an upfront medical sheet. I had my biometrics on 18th April and by 22nd I got medical request which I submitted again via email and webform. Medical was updated to on 24th April but up till now nothing from them. The wait is tiring and frustrating.

I filled a web form on the 22nd of April, still waiting for a response.

Good afternoon. Please does anyone know how I can upgrade my visa application to Priority service? I checked the website and I added £250 to the order basket, it asked me to select appointment which I tried to do but I didn't see the biometrics date which is currently on my application, so there was no way for me to checkout (pay) since I have to select a date before I can proceed to checkout. Yes. But why will you do that when you can easily get FX from the bank. You will still need to pay for IHS and visa fee, you can use your card then except you get plenty money.
