Most of us attended/are attending public universities.
Even when they are not on strike and are getting paid. They don't give their best, they take it as part time work because it's government work so it's all the same.
is it getting paid that's the problem or the value of your pay? You want them to kill themselves on salaries that is close to nothing as pay? If you want them to serve you, it's money you pay for services. The difference between a 10 million a night hotel and 5 thousand a night hotel is my services you get to enjoy.
Hillchild88:
Oga I refuse to agree with you on this. Even if these lecturers are given millions, some of them still have nothing to offer. The students still do most of the research work just to scale through school
who do you expect to do the research work before? Are you expecting a lecturer to do the research work of his/her student? From the way you've talked Soo far, I can conclude that you're probably still a student in a private university that doesn't know what responsibility is all about or you have parent's that still pay your bills or maybe work in an organization that pay crazy money so you don't know the brunt other people are facing......even if some don't have anything to offer, does that mean they should die in penury because they're university lecturers abi. All the leaders elected into office collecting millions of naira every month, how many of them has any reasonable thing to offer? If they do, why has Nigeria retard for the past 7 years plus? Did you for once say they should stop their salaries or reduce it since they've not done anything to improve the lives of Nigerians? In all you do, just know we're all humans at the end of the day.
Let's ask him. So they can discuss how to compensate the students the 8 months they used in "pressing home their demands"
you think a lecturer or teacher will give his/her best if he has family pending issues that requires money? Is it all about student just ing through school and graduating with nothing in their heads? No wonder we can't develop as a country because all what students are being taught are just abstract stuff without any skillful knowledge attached to it. Grades!!! And it stops there. Go abroad and you'll notice they don't even put emphacy to grades but work experience which can even attain while schooling.
N3TRAL:
If they refuse, the Federal Government should enforce the Judgment of the Court by deing them
The government should not stop at that.
Vice-chancellors must for hundreds of billions worth of TETFUND grants they have embezzled.
The lecturers must also write apology letters to students and add 20 marks to the score of students because you cannot stay 8 months at home blocking highways and bullying online without forgetting what you were taught in January. It should be a criteria for paying them the 8 months salary they didn't work for.
For more than 40 years, ASUU has shattered the dreams of great Nigerian students.
Below is a picture of ASSU strike being called off in 1981. My mother had just started Primary School in 1981. 41 years later a useless congress of indecent academicians are still frustrating students.
do you have any relative that's a federal or state university lecturer?
GboyegaD:
You are the one I should ask if you are ready for marriage. I wonder how you allowed people get into your head. You said he argued with your aunt, and you were pained. Should he keep quiet if he's not okay with whatever the cause of the argument was because he wants a marriage?
I don't even understand how your aunt was pissed that he didn't call to thank her for taking you to the market to buy the engagement clothes. Was he the one who suggested you approach your aunt to help you? If he is not, then he doesn't owe her that obligation. If he chooses to say thank you, so be it and if he doesn't, no big deal.
Lastly, your parent's (mom in particular) reservation indirectly beclouded your thought and you suggesting you put the wedding on hold gave him the opportunity to think through the entire thing. Perhaps, you guys were going on a fast lane and that statement made him think and also, have conversation with his folks who might have felt with this much troubles from external influences before the wedding, he should just save his head.
Like the Yorubas will say, "Oju to ma ba ni kale, kin ti a ti owuro se pin" implying, whatever would last long doesn't stress you from inception. You both are lucky in your ways and you both should see it as each party is right with his/her decision.
I just needed to add this, in your next relationship (whether he comes back or a new relationship), you both are the prize and treat each other that way. If he doesn't treat you like a prize or you can't treat him as one, please, be quick to move. Don't be carried away by the people of the world who have no place in your home. Imagine some telling you to do thanksgiving when you were the one who put the wedding on hold should tell you they are like dance instructors who teaches you to dance but will never borrow you their legs to do the dance.
To those quoting me, did you notice the guy's mum didn't bother pacifying her family? Doesn't that speaks volume?
is the guy rich and he's family well to do? I think op should answer the question. Then we would tell her where she stands.
you see how they're showing that they need a husband in open glare, if a guy say hi now.....yanga will not allow them see road. I wonder why most ladies have this attitude.
Earlier today, a Campaign rally was held by thousands of Benue State APC ers for Asiwaju/Shettima and other candidates in Zaki-biam in Ukum LGA, Benue State.
what do you expect when you say 5k will be shared to people that are hungry!
broke men association slogan.
oga bring out money & do things the right way it's done.
it's a once in a lifetime something, & it deserves to be done well.
they don't have money, so they did it that way....... wedding never finish?
I think it's an issue we have with our Nigerian or African ladies...
They natural believe its the man's job to take the wheel of the relationship... and when you stop doing whatever a man does... then the relationship hit the rocks...
I hav noticed everything you said here... tho I dint do mine on purpose... I was so busy with work...and I couldn't do the calling... after a week I realised the lady stop calling too... like automatic end of relationship...
All this things are just mentality... nothing more... they believe its men job to initiate calls and everythung that concerns the relationship at all times... truly not all African ladies are like this... but majority are...
So if you know, you value your relationship... just make sure you carry out your assignment well as a man or be ready to start looking for another babe
true.....I met a particular lady online, though she stays in another town where my parents are. I would say i kept the relationship online all through an during this period she showed me she wanted us to meet that she's lonely etc. I traveled back home, we met and she was head over hills and tripping real good. Next she started acting up and forming busy. I just snubbed her, make she get enough space for wetin de keep her busy. I no get time for stress.
I travelled for a few weeks and have been in the East since then.
I intentionally stopped calling or chatting all my girls.
I wanted to rate their level of interest in whatever relationship/ situationships we have.
Note: I left them to initiate the chats or calls themselves.
MY FINDINGS
80% of relationships/ friendships with women will die once the guy stops calling.
Many called in the first week.
One called till 4th week and hasn't called for 16 days now. She used to visit me weekly before.
Only one still kept in touch till date.
She billed me too but I avoided it to access her reaction. She kept her cool.
I have planned to reward her upon my return.
ASIDE: This reminds me of a girl I met at BRT going to Ikeja. She works at Computer villa.
I took her number. We chatted once in a while and I have sent her data and airtime on few occasions.
I intentionally stopped ing her and she never did. I deleted her number 2 months after.
I suspect this might be happening because I don't reveal my identity to them because I always want things to flow organically and also to avoid raising high expectations of me.
gals yanga too much oooo...... Only when they're serious is when you want to send them money or they need a favour.
NATIONALPASTOR:

OSUigboFlatHead:
No matter how a girl appears okay, rich, comfortable, beautiful etc, she can never be complete without a guy servicing her... Man must fhuck...
that guy sugar cane go done erect and thick now for that back
so you're comparing a result in 1984 to the one in 2015 (31 years apart) to be same? You think the VC then will still be the VC after 31 years? You expect even a dot (.) Not to change in the format? Now i see you just hate peter obi for no reason!
Fiscus105:
If I'm a fan of obi, I will see this as eye opener that I'm dealing with greatest deceptive human in the universe.
I think this is enough for the fans that, his fake international statistics that is dishing out on economy and security issues are nothing but just to gain emotional s from illiterates and educated illiterates.
To my eastern friends, I think it's not too late not to put ur whole eggs in a basket that is certain that it will tear apart.
And do you fool ask yourself the question at to why someone that has genuine certificate refused to tender the same for INEC? Hahahaha. What do we expect from the most foolish tribe on earth according to one of their leaders. No wonder they take it hook line and sinker from Kanu that Buhari is dead
why the insult?...... tomorrow you and the likes of you will say obidients are insulting people that are not obidient.
You people are just adding salt to Pandora‘a injury..
This Made in Aba certificate shows Pandora graduate with 2nd class honors. No wonder Pandora couldn’t submit his university certificate to INEC..
You see this thing called Karma ehh..
really, we the obidients just want you to keep talking about our candidate because it's cheap publicity for us. It's now proven he has a genuine certificate not like the fake one agbadorians and try so hard to sell to Nigerians after drug baron bobo Chicago escaped from US. I will vote a peter obi a hundred times than agbado president.
I simply tell to repeat the same statement in presence of my parent and pastor.
They will all run without looking back cos thats their code to shift pant
well it's some people's tradition for their woman to be to be pregnant for them first and may even come to agreement with the parents of the gal. Also, how virginity is confirmed in the olden days is by spreading a white sheet on wedding night and if there is no blood, the lady is shamed and sent packing to her parents house. Can that be applicable today make we see how many gals still be virgin . How would you cope if the man you get married to has been hiding some health issues and can't stand on the wedding night?
Moh247:
This guys are influenced by some Politicians
Where will Nigeria get 1.3 trillion for University
No wonder state universities are not part of their nonsense
so because they're fighting for their rights, they're now politically influence? Why do people speak as if you don't have brains? Nigeria don't have 1.3 trillion, yet bubu removed $1 billion and gave to Iran for who knows why.
There are educated folks already waiting to take their job
education is not experience......that is why when you go abroad, they employ based on experience and not certificate/class of degree. Moreover, you think employing new graduates to become lecturers is a joke abi?
Ginaz:
A teen in my compound has a problem with body odor. several times she come to my house left the air smelling so stale and rotten, i noticed her younger sister had same issue too.
i couldn't take it anymore, it was so bad and i was afraid she might be mocked in the future if nothing is done to combat it.
i asked her if she ever heard about roll-on or antiperspirant, she replied NO! and this is someone using an iphone and changes clothing periodically.
i gave her my antiperspirant and taught her the need to use it daily as most of the odor comes from her armpit. i told her point blank she doesn't smell nice, her face changed somehow as if i insulted her and she left.
i saw her today and she walked ed me while i was trying to talk to her.
did i do wrong ? children of these days.
oga, you should have just simply bought her roll-on as a gift and tell her you like to always perceive the saint on her.
A MtF trans who has transitioned completely will have a vagina that even a gynecologist wont be able to tell except a cervical examination is done.
If you have sex with one you wont know except they tell you. They dont get wet naturally but there are women who also dont get wet a lot and need saliva & lubricant to enjoy sex so you’ll just think that’s the case.
The only saving grace of most men in Nigeria is that the surgery is expensive and most nigerian boys cant afford it.
MtF trans cannot get pregnant cos they dont have internal female anatomy. But they can store their sperm in banks & use a surrogate and have biological children.
There have been men who are serious players and have been with 100s of women who had sex with them & have no idea till date. Science has come a long way.
I don't believe this Mtf trans thing having surgically constructed VG but i will do my research.
