from last recruitment, we now know we can't correctly predict the MS correctly .....their info hardly comes out unlike back in the days when we have people giving us legit hints on this thread and it does turns out true.

well I personally feel withing two weeks from form closure, shortlist for exam might be out then another two weeks may produce screening list. everything ought to be rounded up by July so training commences and POP falls December before Christmas

So in Sept, the Comdt wheeled us to Jaji for a one month intensive CT-COIN trg (that ófe we blew), well this was the best thing that happened to us cos, after that trg, our lives transformed drastically (we became cracked, stubborn, fearless.... Baby gorillas). The trg ended, we came back, only to be doing katikati n ofecious bush camps, excess PT, cross country, obcs, you name it.. Finally exams then break...in Dec, sometimes in Dec, the CBC rolled us to AFAKA on a job parade, very funny, mehn, we gave those terma 4 headache. With the new Comdt, nothing was certain so, all our prayers was to go for camp HL cos that's the only determinant that one's ready to out. In Jan, all preps pointed to that dir. In a jiffy, camp HL came n went, POP rehearsals ffd suit (rehearsed in AFAKA), drill instructors on directives on the adjt nearly took our lives. Our problems as cadets came to an end in the 26 FEB 22, when we filed out of that parade grd....11 months trg that seemed like forever finally drew the curtain.

I hold Bachelor of Education degree (BEd) in Adult Education,.. and the course is not listed under Education corps in NA DSSC,...can I it that way under Education corps wen the portal is opened or I should go for SSC.,.. because someone told me that if my course is not mentioned the possibility of being successful in the screening is low.

And If u look at the attached pic below⬇️,..What is so surprising there is that,.. there are many education courses that were not mentioned there under education corps e.g Bsc (Ed) Mathematics, Bsc (Ed) Computer science, BEd. Educational istration, BEd. Primary Education, BEd. Adult Education, BA (Ed) Education Economics, and BA (Ed) Islamic Education to mention but few,.. does that mean holders of these courses cannot apply under education Corps in DSSC since there were not mention?

if your age still fall within SSC, it's safer for u to SSC

if it doesn't, then go for DSSC ,this things don't always come to play

1..Try to obtain a Degree and make it a priority, if it doesn't work out that's when u opt for HND... E get why, though the Army doesn't discriminate among the Two.. Same ranking and same pay

2. After conversion, to Regular, that's after your probation... The sky is your limit, though you'll have to compete with the better preferred RC - the NDA graduates... But today we have a lot of SSC officers who are Major Generals.... We've had a COAS once in the past who was SSC


Note : make sure you're Medically and physically fit... Maintain your health till then

to get commissioned into the Nigerian Armed Forces is highly competitive, so ensure to have a back up plan
The final shortlist for Army SSC this year had 8 people per state, Navy DSSC had just 2+1 reserve per state
