Spot on. The most enlightened comment so far. And as for the Transmission lines owned by TCN in alternative of running new lines by Gencos. There would be no need for that as it has been taken care in the complete documents. Gencos can take lease from TCN using substations/feeders by making little adjustment and isolations to supply intended customers. A brilliant idea in my opinion but the challenge is implementation quote author=verocharles post=56697360]It's a welcome development, it will make the discos more serious in service delivery. What it also means is that it will encourage embedded generation. If a company generates power for its usage in the factory, the excess is sold to discos to give the local community within the company, with this new development, the company can sell direct to the community. Moreover it will encourage power plants in communities and estates. Point of correction it will be difficult for gencos to sell direct to a far distanced customers because of transmission, unless they run a new line because TCN Owns transmission line. Another advantage is that the discos won't reject loads again, if they do so communities and companies now have alternative. There are still some legal tussles ahead because discos won't accept it, the license was given to them to cover a particular area and the new development will make them have dwindling revenue.[/quote] 2 Likes |

In this type situation, many things maybe amiss. Like someone mentioned earlier, is she the one providing for the family or earn more. Have you ever cheated on her? And some other underlying issues which may be. All in all, the foundation of the marriage is faulty. While courting you should know your partner and whatever of her sheet you can take. You should have seen this coming. Well my advice is that you manage the situation and watch out. Look inward and solve underlying issues with love. God help you. For guys not yet married, please and please don't manage what you don't like (those that are gross) in a woman even though no one is perfect thinking your partner will change after marriage. This is because people hardly change. Also, some women are born feminist or confrontational. I did not marry my ex even though I love her so much primarily because of issues like what poster brought up. I knew she loves me but we could not manage small issues. I'm tough and she's tough. like poles repel. I don't want headaches like what the poster is presenting. 4 Likes |

thornapple: I like your person. I think you will be a good negotiator and not many girls have this skill even academically sound shes' lol. Plus you come fine small. However, you should know when to slow down. Meaning don't always show you are smart or talk smart. It will make you appear pushy and nerdy which will drive people away from you. You will make a great team leader though. |

It should not be limited but also Include: FRSC/VIO should reform driving schools and only issue licence to professionals in the field to operate such. Reformation or retraining of FRSC/VIO on the need to only give driving license to only people who have ed through driving school. Finally, all drivers should have original driving license not through the back door which encourages quack drivers on the road. 1 Like |

I'd love to come to nairaland, open threads mostly political topics that catches my attention regardless of sullen, ecstasy or myopic subject of discussion . I rarely make comments. However, the subject of discussion is wickedness to humanity. Why is that Hausa/Fulani are always complacent when it comes to this subject of discussion? With the upwards trajectory massacre committed by the so called herdsmen, all my Hausa brothers could say is that the problems predates El Rufai or Buhari. Does that make it justifiable? When it comes to the issue of religion in Kaduna, El Rufai is Complacent and nonchalant. Look at how he is handling the issue of Shiites. Before he became Governor he makes taunting comments about Christianity. So I am not surprised at what he is turning Kaduna into. It's a pity when I read comments from his ers that El Rufai is looking for peace in Kaduna. Sometimes, I wonder what actually beclouds their judgement. Is it political or religion or intellectual hypnotism. Probably, they are on his payroll, just maybe. Even if the catastrophe of Fulani herdsmen predates the Government of Buhari, What is he doing to solve the problem? After all he was elected to solve problems. Buhari's Government is quick to react to cattle rustling that occurs mostly in North west or North east by setting up a committee but never took any concrete action about killings perpetrated by Fulani herdsmen in middle belt and southern Kaduna. If it continues like this, there awaits a greater disaster propelled by greater revolt from the people subjected to this wickedness. 1 Like |

@ poster, I think you have said it all. Just to emphasis, the guy must be matured. Make friend with him and study him.... Paraphrasing the poster. It has happened to me. She's so so gorgeous and highly exposed plus intelligent. I woudn't have ever asked her out for some reasons. She did all the poster mentioned. When she asked me out, infact it took me a week to concede. And you know what, I really loved her and gave my all. However, we had isssues which lead to separation. But we are still friends and keep in touch. We still respect each other a lot. The moral is that, if you are asking a guy out make sure he is very matured. And maturity no be by age. |

This man is a professional liar. I pity the youth of our generation who fall for cheap propaganda from politians and this has continued in upward trajectory. The thing is our generation don't read or lack memory or probably don't have intuition to study and understand there environment. I am not a politian but I read and I can depict truth from lies beyond that I travel alot. Presently i'm in Benue. The problem of Benue or any other part of Nigeria is not partisan politics (APC or PDP) but across the divide . Our problem is a failed organization structure of governance. Let me bring back memory or enlighten you. Ortom used to be staunch PDP man. He was a LG chairman and even had federal appointment in abuja before becoming a governor under auspices of PDP. Then he decamped to APC with money stolen from Abuja with the help of George Akume and be became Governor. Obviously money exchanged hands and Akume holds machinery of APC. What do you expect? Off cause he sold it to the highest bidder. Now why all this story? You see Ortom and many other PDP guys who decamped to APC also used thugs as a catalyst during election. Most of the thugs have been used since PDP days. This is a way of life for politicians in Nigeria not PDP or APC. Furthermore, after election these thugs have been used by the likes of Ortom but no settlement because money was not flowing. They resorted to vices, cultism, robbery etc. Ortom needed to get his house in order, therefore reason for introducing Amnesty and recovery of weapons. You see these men have dead conscience. Stealing and lying has become a norm for them. He lies about salaries, project, allocation etc and just almost anything 43 Likes 2 Shares |

@ Flokki I hate to make comments. Do you have brains in your skull at all? I'm not a fan of Fayose infact he did something terrible to a family. However he has done well on the trajectory massacre by herds men ravaging some part of the country. Infact we need far more reaching measures. Another thing is I doubt if you ever read the post. If you read the post, you will understand that Fayose took a more lucid approach which still permits grazing but with time restrictions/arms. You see people like you have beclouded your judgement with hatred and partisan politics or parties. The problem of Nigeria cut across political divide. The problem is a failed organizational structure of governance. Young people like you should learn to think

@ Poster I can't really comprehend how women see things. I maybe wrong though. In the first place, why do you have to tell a third party what you and your husband to be earn. women just love to talk. However, I'm not telling off your concerns but these are things you can only discover yourself by discussing and studying your man with sometime and not telling everybody you earn times three more than your man..... kapish 5 Likes |

YoungExec: You are absolutely right. I was working with a Coy. I was well equipped and given a car plus other working tools but the money was not too good. I gathered experience under intense pressure from a female Boss. She's sound and knows the Job with a great drive. She has a problem of unprofessional conduct like insulting her subordinates and attacking there persons. Though she has a slight preference for me among colleagues probably because I put in my best and work out my butt. God answered my prayers and I got another Job that pays 3 times more. Prior to then, I was at the verge of closing a government deal on behalf of the company. My Boss insisted I close the deal before I leave and I agreed. Luckily for me two days later the deal was brokered and signed. Therefore, I stuck to my initial plan of two weeks notice. When it was time to go she was mad and told me to stay another two weeks but I turned her down because I was tired of been abused and I had to move on. She gave me a shocker when my new employers went for a background check in my previous company. HR ed her and she wrote my new employers that I never resigned plus I'm still working with them. I was highly embarrassed and my new appointment suspended. Anyway God fought for me. My new employers called me back. While she lost her Job though for something else Lesson: No matter what, always leave on a good and cordial note 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Kath5kouture: Ma'am I can't clearly place what you mean by being less attractive. But for me, I think less attractive and more attractive is relative. But I know most ladies want taller men, good sense of humour, Intelligent, good dress sense, confidence and to top it up financially stable. For some ladies, these qualities makes a man more attractive. While for some other ladies, what makes a man more attractive is just the height, good facial appearance, nice dentition, nice colour of eyes and six packs (fine boy). With all these qualities, the guy here may lack some qualities mentioned from previous paragraph. My point is what may be attractive to Miss A may be less attractive to Miss B and vice-visa. In all something must attract. All these I believe form qualities of attractiveness which may be relative. Babe something got to attract you guys now. 1 Like |

DivideUs: Bro that's the truth. Rents are averagely cheaper in Northern part of Kaduna as compared to Southern part. My colleague was transferred there and that was the first class experience plus I spent my last annual leave there. Though I was born and grew up in Kd but I'm not more there. It wasn't like that before, it's because of continuous drift by most Christians from the Northern part to Southern part due to insistent ethno religious Catastrophe eating the City. Furthermore, Christians are realigning to the South because there are more victims on their side. To crown it all, From my perspective, the Kaduna I know and grew up from is long gone. It's looks kind of divided. If you ask me, I will say Kaduna is leaving on past glory. Ibnsultan: DivideUs: Bro that's the truth. pc guru: When i see a fine babe, the first thing that comes to my mind is the Halo theory, how she can be percieved as a smart person just because of her beauty, then i start to think of all the open doors that will be opened to her based on her looks, then my minds dives into more complex thoughts about such industries that give such opportunities based on looks. After that i start to study her to see if she,s smart and if she is, then such babe will pose a danger to other people. After being satisfied with my analysis, i then start to stare at her boobs. True story My thought also bro |

The problem with Nigeria is that we forget easily. Before The court convicted the police pension boss and a few others, the Senate invited him and his fellow thieves but were all left off the hook and told to go. This same Police pension boss was later convicted in the court. Shame on the Nigeria Senate. If Maina was found wanting of misappropiation in the course of investiging Police pension, he should be equally punished. But Maina indicted some police officials including the convicted Police pension boss. But the senate never saw anything wrong with these people when they were invited for stealing 23 billion. Intead, they are running after 119 million allegedly cornered by Maina in the course of investigating Police pension funds. I think the senate are being mischievous. 1 Like |

I beg to differ. What is the offence of Maina who is just pension task boss and does not have access to pension funds but to double check adequate disbtribution by pension fund managers. The law makers are just nothing but shameless thieves. I believe the truth will come out one day. Maina unfolded the corruption in the police pension in which many other top politians are inolved. That was why d guy pleaded guilty and got soft landing with the help of other political thieves.

There is no doubt that ACN is performing but at thesame time amassing wealth for Tinubu. My problem is that Lagos state is making lots of money from TAXATION. Then why make Education(LASU) so expensive. For God sake, is education not suppose to be one of the major responsibility of Goverment ie Making it available & affordable for it's people. ACN is misbahaving because PDP has failed. ACN should be more pro Masses. That is what Goverance is all about. 1 Like |
