The Winter King

Seems to be badly written. The television equivalent of telling not showing.

Slow Horses is also taking flight.

Gary Oldman is absolutely killing it.
This was one of the funniest scenes in the novel for me.

Slow Horses

This show suppose make sense o, but the main guy is so förking annoying. Episode 1 never finish, he don dey disobey authority unto say your Grandpa get connect.

Nonsense and ingredient.
I didn't know this has been adapted to the big screen. I read the novel series just last year and apart from some bad writing in the first book, it's okay. It's premise and characterizations are it's stronger suites, don't know if all that translated into it's adaptation.

Good day. I would be interested in participating in this game but I'm late for this edition. Is this something you organize monthly?

GOT. Wheel of time. Hopefully one network picks up Malazan book of the fallen.

Salutations.
I've always toyed with the idea that a network will be crazy enough to pick up Malazan book of the fallen. I can't even imagine the budget required to bring that mad world to the big screen.

Check d British version
While I've been reluctant to check out the newly released American adaptation, I doubt it beats the British version. I thoroughly enjoyed the British adaptation.

Please how good is The expanse?
Don't want to waste my time. Watched the first 5 minutes and I didn't really feel it.
The expanse is one of the very few shows that actually do justice to the book series from which they were adapted. If you're interested in sci-fi shows, then you can't go wrong with the expanse.
To answer your question, the expanse is a great show. This is something you can only appreciate if the sci-fi genre interests you.

Harem? shocked

Now this is getting interesting. grin cheesy
Yep. What's funny is that none of the ladies were insignificant, they all played significant roles in his story. It will certainly be interesting to see how this is interpreted on the big screen.

You think she's very powerful, wait till you see rand channel.
If the pattern of the characters power progression is same as the book series, Rand was practically a god compared to the rest combined.

Succinctly put.

I swear I'm still surprised how someone will say it's slow paced. Show that from episode one na speed of light them take move.

Yea... I think the girl is the dragon reborn. That her bf go be evil reborn. Him dey do like person wey devil like dey use. grin
In the book series, a male was the dragon reborn. If they should end up changing the gender, it definitely means they will not be sticking to the source material cause a lot of things will have to change. I'm actually more concerned, with what they're going to do about the harem situation down the line, if they decide to stick solely to the source material. I don't see a lot of mainstream shows outside of animes doing that.

Not really enthused about this show. The direction the book series took left me heartbroken for days. Brandon Sanderson did great work in finishing the series, I hope he's involved with the show.

Cowboy Bebop. 7/10.

As times ed I’ve heard of this show from one fan or the other. They always claim it’s the next best thing since sliced bread. This is not a new occurrence. I’ve gotten annoyed by Naruto that I quit the show after four episodes, totally turned off from trying Bleach, bored to tears from Fist of The North Star, Ghost In The Shell, Dragon Ball Z and a few other cartoons from old times. Samurai Champloo wasn’t bad but was highly overrated. Akira was quite enjoyable.

I went into this show after complaining to Netflix that a live action was about to come out yet those out of the loop hadn’t indulged in the original. Two days later it appeared as a part of my selection.

The show isn’t bad, it’s quite Tom and Jerry-esque. The main characters are Spike — an incompetent bounty hunter and his cybernetically enhanced friend, Jet. The two go on several adventures while trying to catch fugitives to pad their financially dead end lives. Like the aforementioned show, I’m yet to see them actually deliver on a bounty; a theme I believe will get tiring after twelve episodes.

On watching the first episode I assumed it was a PG children’s show up until the main character was warned of death coming his way. I pushed the thought aside — thinking the writers were bluffing — however a full blown execution was shown onscreen which completely changed my mind. It was then I buckled up for the ride. I’m three episodes in and enjoying what I’m seeing. I may not end the full twenty-six episodes though I now have a baseline with which to judge the live action series.

Nice. Cowboy bebop has always been on my watchlist. I'll have to make time to see it.

Manifest series… your ratings guys?
Cool sci-fi show with a large dose of mystery. Makes you ask more questions than it answers over the span of it's aired seasons. Ended up getting a bit convoluted at the last aired season but, really worth it if you're into the genre.

The Missing with James Nesbitt

Pretty good so far. I'm kinda surprised it didn't last longer, but then again, it's British. They have a different approach.
This was one good show.
