A French band delighted attendees at a state dinner in Paris by delivering a lively performance of PSquare’s hit song “Testimony (Taste the Money)” in tribute to Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The dinner, held at the prestigious Palais de l’Élysée, was a eye-catching moment in President Tinubu’s three-day official visit to , aimed at deepening diplomatic ties and bolstering economic cooperation between the two nations. In a now-viral video capturing the highlight, the band gave a spirited rendition of the Afrobeat classic, infusing the track with a unique French twist while preserving its infectious Nigerian rhythms. The crowd responded enthusiastically, with President Tinubu and First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu visibly moved by the thoughtful cultural homage. Adding to the celebration of Nigerian artistry, the French band also performed “Mama Africa” by Bracket, further showcasing the global appeal of Nigerian music. How much would you rate the band? https://www.vanguardngr.com/2024/11/video-french-band-performs-psquares-taste-the-money-in-honour-of-tinubu/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHAkuapNZ1w?si=jhlmhBdP5wU81yt2

Ringstonemasks: Bro when you crack the code abroad. You will fly. We that understand it are grateful for the life abroad. She's single. She can live in a shared apartment and pay only 600 dollars in a room alone but share kitchen and toilet. So two friends can come together and get a two bed house of $1200. Other utilities cost just around 250$ Cook to save costs. You can save alot and save your dollars. Covert to Nigerian currency and invest big in Nigeria. Understanding abroad and cutting cost is your only sure way of making it abroad. Even as a family, you will combine resources together to make a big deal in Nigeria. Both partners working and renting a two bed. Splitting bills and saving tly to build a fortune in 9ja. So I disagree with you to a great extent bro. Cheers man. 1 Like |

Food comes first, transportation and Internet comes after for an average Nigerian. Things are so tough that even runs girls decry the current economic situation. Hardship humorously highlights how financial strain can unintentionally promote marital fidelity. ![]() ![]() It is simply too costly to cheat. A serial cheat who maintained multiple women has forcefully reduced the numbers. Infidelity budget is sacrificed or reduced to accommodate his family living expense. Tinubu do this one for Nigerian women and should be counted as one of this istrations achievements. 14 Likes 6 Shares |

Nigerian Politicians are selfish. Why will a Governor serve 8 Years and still want to dictate or appoint people to serve under his successor? I do not God fatherism. Wike did well on infrastructure in Rivers without hindrance and should let his successor govern the state in his own capacity so that when he fails, we all see his incompetence. People ing Wike would never allow someone dictate for them in their various affairs especially if they are the heads. Peter Odili didn't Lord over his successor. Ameachi allowed Wike rule when Wike proved stubborn. Wike doesn't let things slide and is always very bitter, he is a man who puts personal ambition and interest above the State. He lost governorship primaries then worked against his own party. Peter Obi won Wikes LGA in the presidential election and Wike made sure to destroys ballot. He is willing to go every length to destroy his party if things do not go his way.. That is q very bad character. As someone that have lived in Rivers State for long now, I use to like him when he was governor but his bitterness is making me think twice about his personality at the moment. Fubara on the other hand should work even while fighting, you can put things in place going. Don't face fight and forget your duties because I am yet to see what he has done exceptionally so far. I might be wrong. But nothing visible. If he is facing education or other sectors that aren't visible then let him employ Media to make it loud so people can see. Because at the end, your work will speak for you. This is my opinion on the ongoing feud. 35 Likes 3 Shares |

Verydarkhearted: Jesus dined with Sinners. And who are you to judge them? What's your evidence that they are cultist? Are you a born again and really following the teachings of the Bible or just a hypocrite? If you are without sin, cast a stone. Most poor people in Nigeria feel every wealthy man is q cultist. It is evident that some of hese boys have billionaire dads but envy made you forget that. Leave judgement for God. Everyone will for their sins including you. |

I enjoyed the game of football cos I enjoy football. I was on Man city vs Arsenal thread and no one bashed another for watching football. In the same manner, No one should talk down on those who find BBN enjoyable. It is a reality show for adult. We have adult family who find it interesting. Entertainment is part of life. People bashing those who watch BBN just simply like to decide for people what to do with their time. All adult should know when to mind their business 11 Likes |

I don't know anything about the show but people who have no interest should live and let others who love it also live. I haven't seen people condemning football. Season just started and I am excited despite Nigerian issues. Entertainment is good for the mental health. Worrying won't solve Nigerians problems. Therefore if you won't condemn EPL, LALIGA, CHAMPIONS LEAGUE, OLYMPICS ETC... Don't condemn BBN. It is a form of of entertainment for those interested. Those condemning it have their interests too, you will find them watching brain jotter most of the time without thinking of the economy but once BBN is mentioned, they suddenly Nigerian economy. |

Dangote earlier said the cabal in the oil sector worse than cocaine. He knows exactly why he said so. This is a country that sabotage her development for selfish gain of a few percentages of people. That's exactly what is going on in the power sector. We willy never have steady electricity because of some people's greed who benefit from lack of power. The Nigerian man doesn't look at the betterment of the country but of his stomach. 27 Likes 5 Shares |

Paddy paddy government like Eedris Abdulkarim will say.. His song Emilokan is a sad reality. Hardship is too much under this istration, it does not matter your tribe or religion. The hardship reach everybody except sentiment is blinding your eyes. Even Buhari government that was quite clueless didn't have it this bad. Nothing is common again in Nigeria, not garri, not noodles, not sachet water. Salary of 200k used to be a good salary but not anymore. People are suffering... Those praising Tinubu are suffering too. Ask them how much they have saved. It is better to call out bad decisions to enable them seat up. All these yoruba vs igbo Sentiment won't favour anybody. 9 Likes 1 Share |

maasoap:It is not his fault that elections didn't hold. The party was experiencing crises. Akume wanted to be a godfather and Akume controlled of the party. The tor tiv only settled them recently. The Reverend is so far the best democratic governor Benue can boast of. He is silently putting structures in place and benue people are happy with his performance so far. If he was like the rest. He would have selected his own people to fill those positions. But he didn't want to do that since election will hold to bring in new democratic elected LG chairmen. He only assessed their performance and maintained them pending elections. that he didn't select the current caretakers. He inherited them from the government he defeated. If he had a selfish motive, he would simple install his own men and heaven won't fall. Let's give him credits man. |

He said this governor is so stingy and has stopped sharing money to parasites which was very common under past istrations. I told him it was good for the state, he should put the state first before himself. 32 Likes 2 Shares |

Hmmm! Second tenure will be a tough race for the governor especially that he stopped the sharing of money to politicians in the state and has blocked almost all channels for theft. They will fight back. 19 Likes |
