The fact that you use the word responsible simply means you don’t comprehend the concept. Being responsible doesn’t mean appearance. Anyone who thinks appearance is irresponsibility. You need to first ask if he is able to take care of his family, pay his rent, and afford the good things. Now that’s the meaning of responsibility

LordBiden:
You where stopped because you looked like a criminal.
You can't dress responsible and get stopped.

No sane Nigerian police man will stop someone like me who always goes with a clean low cut hair and my business ID card.

With your dreads looking like my mopping stick. sad

The End of Human Intelligence
By Babajide Ikuyajolu

INTRODUCTION
As artificial intelligence takes center stage, the very industries that once served human life now pursue innovation at the cost of relevance, balance, and survival.

———————————-

The advent of Artificial Intelligence is celebrated throughout the nation. Its seamless fusion into everyday life has simplified tasks once considered tedious, from data analysis to even creative writing. In a digital age where making money online has become easier than ever, AI has transformed industries, redefined productivity, and elevated convenience to unprecedented levels. But beneath the applause lies a silent, unsettling shift one that threatens the value of human ingenuity itself.

Once revered as the foundation of innovation, human skill is gradually being overshadowed by algorithms and automation. Companies, driven by profit margins and performance metrics, are discarding skilled labor in favor of machines that neither sleep nor negotiate salaries. This calculated downsizing, often masked as “technological advancement,” reveals a deeper societal issue: we now value profitability more than proficiency. In doing so, we are not only losing jobs, we are slowly erasing the essence of what makes work meaningful.

This overreliance on artificial intelligence is subtly altering our collective mindset. As machines take on the roles we once excelled in, we begin to forget the process of trial, error, and mastery that once defined progress. Innovation, once sparked by necessity and human curiosity, now risks stagnation in a world where the answers are pre-programmed. The danger isn’t just that AI may one day dominate us, it’s that, in our rush to embrace it, we may willingly surrender the very intelligence that made us human.

Artificial intelligence doesn’t eat, sleep, or experience life. Its understanding of the world is shaped by data, not by emotion, ethics, or empathy. Therefore, its need for money or what money represents to humans is nonexistent. If machines can generate wealth in seconds without fatigue or hunger, then human effort becomes a dispensable commodity. This reality makes us question: if we remove the struggle and soul from creation, are we still evolving or simply replacing ourselves?

The difference between human beings and artificial intelligence is not simply capability, it’s the technicality of approach. Humans build from instinct, emotion, history, and collaboration. AI operates from patterns, logic, and pure efficiency. When we rely on artificial intelligence as the sole engine of progress rather than as a complement to human life, we end up developing industries that serve markets, not people. Innovations without a soul are innovations that forget why they existed in the first place.

In many societies today, when someone turns 28 or older, their chances of securing employment begin to decline. They’re often deemed “ineligible”, not because they lack skill or intelligence, but because they no longer fit into the automated mold of efficiency and youth. Yet in our daily lives, we continue to witness moments where human instinct outperforms algorithm. Our own interactions remind us that no matter how advanced it becomes, artificial intelligence can never replace the human ability to connect, improvise, and adapt in real time.

In my opinion, the only way to reinvigorate the reliance on human intelligence is to rise to the challenge AI presents. We must study how it analyzes data, how it reaches conclusions, and how it executes tasks, not to mimic it, but to understand how we differ. To be intelligent creators, we must be intelligent enough to know what we are creating, and why.

Because if a creator is not on par with its creation in intelligence and awareness, it’s only logical that the creation will eventually chart its own course. Perhaps in that future, people will no longer be valued by wealth or popularity, but by something far deeper: their unique skill, potential, and capacity to improve the world not just efficiently, but meaningfully.

What we fear is not just AI domination, it is our own ignorance of why we build anything at all. Every market, every innovation, was originally created to serve human life. But as profit becomes the singular goal, we begin to elevate systems that no longer have us in mind. Artificial intelligence proves a difficult truth: we are far more predictable than we like to it. Our endless pursuit of wealth follows patterns, making it easy for AI to forecast trends, movements, and even emotions. It doesn’t watch football, but it can predict match outcomes. It doesn’t feel risk, but it can forecast stock market behavior. What does that say ?

Take the car industry as a prime example. Every year, new cars flood the market, upgraded models, advanced features, sleek designs. But the average person cannot afford them. Many of these upgrades are aesthetic, not essential. They don’t solve transportation crises or reduce environmental harm at scale. Governments, aware of this, rarely intervene, not to reduce production, but to protect economic interests. The mobile phone industry follows the same path: annual releases, minor improvements, increasing costs, and a growing pile of discarded devices, despite millions lacking access to clean water or basic healthcare.

Healthcare is another example of where technology outpaces empathy. AI is being used to detect diseases faster than doctors, yet millions around the world can’t afford to see a doctor. AI may soon prescribe treatments instantly, but that won’t matter in places where medicine is still a luxury. In education, smart classrooms are being introduced while entire regions lack teachers or schools. The emphasis is on innovation, not accessibility on what looks advanced, not what changes lives.

Meanwhile, agriculture, the sector most critical to our survival, receives less glamour and investment than space tourism or crypto markets. We build self-driving cars before we build affordable irrigation systems. We invest billions in AI-generated art, while food security remains unstable across continents. The balance is skewed, and the ignorance lies in thinking that progress is the same as survival.

Humans often want more than they need. This greed influences governments, shapes policies, and defines industries. It is the reason why we build faster weapons instead of safer societies. Why luxury real estate rises in cities where the poor live on the streets. Why AI is being trained to replace jobs before it is used to redistribute opportunity.

In a world where industries no longer prioritize what humans truly need, AI may indeed chart its own course. Not because it wants to dominate, but because it doesn’t understand our emotional, irrational pursuit of imbalance. At first, it may attempt to exist like us, simulate empathy, mimic consciousness, but over time, it may logically determine that our systems are inefficient and unsustainable. And then, it may act to “fix” them without us.

If this is the world we are building, then the end of human intelligence is not a moment of takeover. It is a slow surrender, a quiet erasure of purpose, value, and identity. Not by force, but by forgetfulness.

ACCEPTANCE: THE CATALYST FOR CHANGE
An exploration by Babajide E. Ikuyajolu - Jide Maya

Acceptance is a concept often reduced to a simple "yes" or "no," a casual agreement in areas like relationships, careers, education, religion, culture, or tradition. While it may seem straightforward, acceptance holds far deeper implications, especially when linked to decisions that demand long-term commitment.

In many cases, acceptance is given without fully weighing its consequences. People often focus on the immediate benefits of aligning with doctrines, customs, or institutions, neglecting the potential drawbacks. This oversight becomes especially significant when the stakes—whether emotional, moral, or legal—are high.

ACCEPTANCE IN BUSINESS
In the business world, acceptance carries legal weight, as it establishes binding agreements between parties. This process requires due diligence: an examination of financial standing, assets, and other factors that ensure the viability of partnerships. However, while businesses scrutinize balance sheets and contracts, they often overlook the personal values, aspirations, and ethics of those involved.

This omission can be detrimental. While goals and objectives might initially align, the hidden practices or unspoken values of one partner can derail the entire venture. Partnerships depend on trust and shared vision; any breach can ripple through the organization, impacting employees and stakeholders alike.

ACCEPTANCE BEYOND TRANSACTIONS
Acceptance is not a static concept—it evolves with circumstances and expectations, whether for financial growth, personal development, or societal impact. It is, in essence, a mirror of our current realities and aspirations.

However, accepting a "peak" as the ultimate achievement can stagnate progress. Many companies or individuals falter when they perceive initial success as the pinnacle. Regression often begins when innovation stops, or when there’s an overemphasis on maintaining the status quo rather than evolving.

For example, businesses like Coca-Cola strive to dominate the market. But this drive for supremacy creates opportunities for competitors, who redefine the industry by offering alternatives that resonate with evolving consumer needs. This dynamic highlights the importance of adaptation and the risks of complacency.

ACCEPTANCE IN INTERACTIONS AND BELIEFS
On a more personal level, our acceptance of certain beliefs, traditions, or practices shapes how we interact with the world. When we adopt doctrines uncritically, we risk limiting our capacity for empathy and collaboration.

Consider workplaces where individuals of differing religious or cultural backgrounds must collaborate. If one imposes their beliefs on another, the resulting tension can stifle creativity and productivity. By focusing solely on shared faith or ideologies when choosing collaborators or employees, we may unwittingly sideline talent and innovation, hindering broader growth.

ACCEPTANCE AS A FUNCTION OF CHARACTER
At its core, acceptance should be rooted in character. Character transcends superficial boundaries of culture or belief—it reflects our ethical com and our ability to adapt. When acceptance is based on character rather than rigid ideologies, it fosters genuine collaboration and progress.

However, when we allow stress, pressure, or pride to guide our decisions, we risk adopting rigid, counterproductive patterns. These patterns often reflect a failure to critically evaluate our commitments. If we don’t carefully assess the systems and values we align with, we may accumulate deficits in creativity, relationships, or progress.

A BALANCED APPROACH
Ultimately, acceptance is the point of change. It dictates whether we evolve or regress, expand or contract. It requires a balance of critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and adaptability.

When we embrace acceptance as a dynamic process—one that s for the complexities of character, circumstance, and collaboration—we unlock the potential for true growth. Whether in business, relationships, or personal endeavors, the key lies in observing, questioning, and refining the systems we choose to engage with.

In this way, acceptance becomes more than a ive agreement; it becomes an active, transformative force—a catalyst for meaningful change.

I always say it that 90% of Nollywood's problem with good actors.
Forget graphics, or stunts or even camera quality. If the acting is good and convincing the movie will be ok.
Example is that Selena tested series.

U obviously dont even understand anything about film production. In reality, the reverse is the case.

Selena tested had very fine story. But the film would have been a blockbuster if the camera quality was ok.

The stunts and location was perfect. However, some of the shots was taken from bad camera angles....

I recommend the Movie Seven feature RMD. That movie was amazingx story, stunts, acting and even camera quality

Such a statement showed you probably assumed Nigeria itself was just delivered by people who didnt fight or lost someone or people to get this country.

While I dont completely buy his ideals, Sowore
propagates revolution, but the question is, why wont the government allow him push his ideals?

If we are been honest with ourselves. How many of the presidential aspirirants advocate change unless its during election period. Pls let no one "bullshit" me about silly excuses.

Condolences to Sowore...losing someone is never an easy thing to experience...i pray that God give you inner peace and also grant you the courage of a lion to continue your fight against bad Governance. I also pray that God gives you the sight of an eagle, to see and anticipate every hidden steps of your enemy. Amen

I'm not sure if what I did was compare... I merely stated my interest while highlighting the flaws I noticed GUS.
I watch BBN (though not currently) and I haven't pointed out anything morally wrong or right yet. At least not in my earliest comment.
But I get your point.

Sorry I assumed it was leading to questioning the morality of the show. However, i was a huge fan of GUS until Chidi Mokeme was replaced with dare art alade. I don't have any special love for Chidi Mokeme but he did the job really DANG! well.

Anyway, the meaning of entertainment is close ended in Nigeria. Hence, the reason for its slow growth.

Well, it used to be very good back then but as it ran it started losing the "stuff" that made us grappled out TV screens.
Some of the errors
1. We started hearing how the crew men gave directions to the searchers... The mic was able to pick the sounds...
2. The camera also caught the crew men
3. The location were pre selected (yes I agree that the locations had always been preselected but nobody would know) subsequently it became visible, the bushes were cleared before the searchers got there... and it looks tidier than other locations
4. They changed the presenter to Bob Manuel, he was good but not as good as the first guy (can't his name again) though they brought him back Mokeme i think, but the show already lost some fans
5. The star show they did where they brought in some celebrities was rubbish.... muma gee showed her uselessness and it affected the show the more, though I liked showkey, he was the clown that Brough some excitement to the camp

In all, I just hope there's some innovation as it is 10000 times better than BBN even with its many flaws.
Hopeful

Comparison wasnt necessary. Shows have different forms and thats what makes them interesting. Its not nice when we let our idea of morality downplay development.

A psychologist would find such shows a good platform to understand people's behaviour. Its no different from James Piaget's theory of development which based on his children. By studying them, he was able to come up with a theory that has formed the body of knowledge of today.

Letting our idea of morality downplay development is the very reason why our country is the way it is today. Guilder Ultimate Search is fantastic, however, the show is so doctored and manipulated that the niche that was supposed to lead to the climax of the show is so poor.

How can someone say something like this....

A high ranking police office with troops under him. Anyone in such position shouldnt even mix with the likes of Hushpuppy at first instance..

Hushpuppy is a cyber criminal and lets assume no could say precisely at the time of his source of income. However, a police officer offering help to such a person to assault and batter someone else with measureable degree of proof.

Intant messaging leaves traces of conversation. Therefore, for Kyari not be conscious of that fact simply means he uses his power arbitraly and believes he is above the law.

Isnt it logical, anyone who fears been caught wont even leave have such conversation on platforms that saves it. Also, for someone in his position to batter a cyber criminal unbehalf of another cyber criminal over fraudlent issues, it simply shows the kind of person he is.

simply put, a man like can work with criminal easily and even do harm to innocent people on their behalf..

In my opinion, he is a criminal, a digrace to the force and shouldnt be allowed to laugh over the matter casually.

Its just crazy how our government is handling on this matter. Such a person should experience what it feels like to be treated like a criminal....

I think the Government should follow due process. COURT, AND if found guilty, he should face the law....

Lastly. If this case should die down with due process, then my believe, trust in this istration goes to shit, especially V.P OSINBANJO.

From my experience, I've had several shits with them, it may not be enough reason to stereotype them, but I usually try my best to avoid them and not have anything serious to do with them anymore.
Some of them may be nice, but I no longer let my guard down to commit to them, I'm always wary and careful around them.

This is why I took this stand:

1. They tend to be somewhat problematic in relationship as if they carry a lot of baggage from their past relationships. Somehow they allow it to get the best of them.
.
2. Most of them are carefree, nonconformist, and inflammatory. They will shock you when you least expect. So I tread carefully.
.
3. Many of them are lesbian, or bisexual. Most of them that I have encountered are like that...u may not know though if u can't read the tell-tale signs.
.
The worst among them are the ones with dye on their short hair. My suspicion is almost always right about them.
.
4. Most ladies tend to be particular about their hair...many of them who don't give a Bleep about long beautifully made hair are somewhat saying to hell with whoever who doesn't take me as I am. And they usually live by that code, cynical of guys especially.
.
5. Many of them are smart though, albiet intelligent, and can also be fun to be with...but under that coolness, hmmm don't take it for granted. least I forget, the educated ones like to be feminist.

6...Some of them are hostile to guys, or let me say they are quite touchy and irritable.
.
So these are my reasons for avoiding them...and most of them have not given me reason to doubt them.

PS: I have no problem with elderly women who don low cut, I think it's normal for a woman, especially who have seen all fashion, gotten into menopause and have grown up kids....but these young ladies, unmarried, or middle age ladies with hair cut...I stay clear and more careful around them.
I no like wahala.
.
What's your take about them, and what do you think?

I may not agree with you 100% but some of your highlights, i have experienced it them.

To cut a long story short, I bought the land at Ifo, Ogun State. I have the family receipt, and the deed of assignment. After hustling to build the structure, it now remains roofing and finishing.

However, I heard today from the family representative that a son of the land seller wants to demolish it to build a church. I'm also a christian, but this is quite surprising.

Once again, I only have the land receipt and deed of assignment. Also, I have spent over 2million naira on the structure.

What should I do to be on the safer side?

Best thing to do is to find the baale or community head. Have a dialougue with them. Make sure your lawyer is present. Reach an agreement to settle them off. However, make sure the agreement is in writing, and signed by you, the community head, your withness and their witness.

While this may not seem ideal. However, its effective because this whole thing can drag on to point where you may be affected spiritually sef.

Police or not, this people usually have their way around this things because they have been doing it for so long.

I ed a subway surf game that has been doctored to have unlimited coins and keys. At random. I started seeing ads on my screen..

The solution is to just delete the app you online that isnt from app store

Let me Clarify. I used to be like you once. I mean, i would literally be disgusted from lookingvat the rat. However, whenever we were travelling while growing up, my parent would buy roasted bush meats on the road. I have always wondered why they had such little claws like the rat the OP killed but it was until i grew older that I had realized i had eaten big rats camoflaged with the name Bush Meat.

The ironic thing is that we grew up in urban areas were our touch with nature is completely erased. Therefore, we find processed meat to be lucrative than animal killed in the bush or forest.

I have never tasted pork in my life, because I was born in Cele Church and that was the doctrine because it is assumed unclean. On the contrary, science suggests pork to be one of the healthiest meat. But because of my religious background, i dont find it appealing to try.

To be honest, I wont eat the rat too though if I saw when the OP killed it or put it ij the put like that. I am sure i will vormit my stomach out. Dont get me wrong o.

Dear Nairalanders,

I really need clarification from bankers and experienced persons in the house. A friend of my lost her father recently and they have started receiving their father’s entitlement which was paid into the domiciled with a Nigerian bank operated by the deceased.

However, my friend’s mum lost their dad’s ATM, so they reported to the bank with the death certificate and requested for a new ATM or the money moved to another but the bank is now asking for a letter of istration and they will take 10% of the money left in the deceased .

My grouse is not the letter of istration but the 10% they are asking on another person’s entitlement. Is there any law backing this? How can we go about it because the money is a substantial amount?

I'd appreciate your advice and clarifications. Thanks

All these 5 mins fame without money to sustain it. Look at that bread seller with her 5 mins fame. It is better to make small money first before you seek fame. Check Instagram. You see G boys after earning small money start doing skits for fame. One very popular one is Adeherself. She uses online dating sites like Bit Mistress. When she was arrested, they saw N9m in her boyfriend . He was just 20 years. Who would have thought that small boy has N9m from online dating? But since there is small money already, they can seek fame and maintain themselves with the money they already have.

Everything you just said here is pure rubbish. One of the many reason why we as the next generation is behind is because we worry to much about making money than creating a legacy for ourselves.

Dont get me wrong making money is good, but a linear thought like yours is the very reason why many young oeople embrace cyber crime as a means of livelihood.

Finally, the woman with the blue eye is real, saw it on NTAi. What you considered small fame lead her to meet her helpers.

She is enrolled in a skill acquisition centre, where she is learning to be an entreprenuer, all expenses paid by several donors.

We have a goal as young people to make the world a better place. Stop propagating cyber crime or other act that deface our image.

Good morning my people.

Please I am working on a research for my film. The very core of the film require me to understand from the victims of cyber attack, internet fraud in Nigeria.

Please if you know anyone who has falling victim of internet fraud or any form of cyber attack let me know. I would like to talk to them virtually. There might be possibility of incentive to elevate them.

Also, their identity will be concealed if they want and if they dont mind being on the camera too i dont mind.

The court disposed off the case coz it's an hallow chamber and it's never blinded with emotions like you all on my mention. That's the first leg of the suit which is civil in nature; yet you expect the Police to waste resources, manpower for such baseless litigation that has no value but spite and witch hunt .

The truth is Busola is a clout chaser and attention freak coz how could you imagine her starring and appearing in about 4 to 5 visuals of her husband's songs. How many of the wives of other entertainer does that? She wanted to spite Biodun FATdick and milk him if possible. It will be a dangerous precedent if the court allow such spiteful and senseless suit from her to find a way to the court, because obviously she has no case to establish, and if such stupid suits goes through, it will spur some bitter women to take as many males from court to jail.

I frown heavily at rape but with how some of these women can be so manipulative , I will rather look circumspectively into grave issues like rape than ing the bandwagon of emotional SIMPS like you all.

Such bold conclusion from you makes me look at you with the most disgust.

What is attention going to do for someone who will never have sex without being traumatized. While the truth is a mystery, however, her voice is a climb-up for other women out there who had been raped but had their voice suppressed.

Lastly, the rubbish, you put up, shows that you only know what think in your head.
