LMAO!!!

This reminds me of when my friend was dating one rich girl like 20 years ago when we were in uni. One day the guy told me he stole his dad's car as usual to go to the girl's house. On his way there, she called and told him to buy one biscuit like that while coming. When he stopped to buy the biscuit where she described to him, it was 5k or so. lol. At the time, that was a lot of money. He had to call friends to borrow him money to buy the biscuit. grin

Lol, are you trying to make us laugh?
Which biscuit cost 5k 20 years ago?
Cos I know that was the cost for a bag of rice around the same time

What’s the relationship between me and Jesus?

Let’s even go there, where did Jesus end up? His trust still killed him. He could have lived longer if he was cautious about people.

I guess his death was also ing a message. You cannot be successful with a crowd behind you. You will be cut short in no time.

Yes o, because among that crowd are some who wants what you have, expecially the popularity

My dear, don't go into that business o.
Nigerian youths eeh; 97% are criminal minded. Not exaggerating, including the so-called pastors, they are worst as a matter of fact!

My husband didn't realise his okaba riders he bought a brand new bike for were playing him until he started riding a bike himself, doing the business himself. He realised he was being robbed in broad daylight by his former riders, not one but three different persons, same thing before be decided to try it out himself. Under six months, he bought a brand new ladies bike for me, that was 4 years back. Now one bike is over a million naira now, no sensible person Should throw such amount into the dubious hands of Nigerians in the name of doing business.

You should have checked your pocket before bringing three children into this world, because as it is you married a useless wife.
I don't understand, bringing children to come and in the suffering you and your useless wife is going through. I want to marry I want to marry look at the result now. This why I ire women like Ini Edo, Tiwa, et al, these well to do and enlightened women are not too fixated on marriage and are happily living their lives.

I wish I can give your post a million likes and share, you are so on point!

Marriage these days is different from what it was in ge past.

Who/ what takes the blame?

Nigerians collect 10k during elections and voting in exchange for thier marriage and peace. SMH!!!!!!
You people haven't seen anything yet just wait for second tenure!

Do you know how many marriages have gone to the pits as a result of the new realities of naira crash and the government policies. Do you know how many people have sold thier cars to feed? Nothing kills marriage faster than Poverty. He said his wife is not even working, and everyone is surprised what crashed the union?

2 people can do same business, one makes it in 3 years, another struggles for 15 years.
We're not all the same. I'm also not tryna convince you. Believe what you want
Your comments shows you haven't done any business as a matter of fact. You think business is salary work? Go and open a shop and see things for yourself. Or you think business is all about making profits? Do u know what we call unforeseen expenses? Operational costs? Loss? Running expenses? Council officials and tax collectors weekly visits? Theft (boys bursting your shop and doing fake transfers), what about those customers buying on credit and then avoid your shop afterwards? Landlord asking for 3 years upfront payment and subsequent rent increment as your business progresses? Aren't you going to feed? And if you have a family, feed them? Lazy/jobless relatives that's calling for financial help from time to time nko? You won't pay house rent or kid's school fees? Before you can even buy a car, multiple HAPPY NEW YEAR have been yelled at your ears. 10 lands Koh, 325 lands ni!

People who haven't engaged in business thinks it's easy, you better hold that salary job of yours very tightly!

Do you think your sibling or any of your relation, if voted for, can change the situation of most Nigerians who have corruption and criminal mindedness running in thier bloodstream? You mean when a teacher could purchase a Peugeot, but same teacher cannot purchase Keke napep now??

They can't purchase a Keke napep because of overpopulation. Teenagers are now teaching teenagers, kids teaching kids, was that how it was in the past also? There are more people in Nigeria now than teaching vacancies. A simple law of demand and supply is what happened! Still not the fault of the government, our youths are more interested in having sex than planning for the future, and what's the result of frequent sex? MORE KIDS (don't expect FG to come and help you feed products of your uncontrolled libido)

Our own time land for good place na like 25M least price...

How much work we dey do?
Is that supposed to be an excuse?
The 1500 you talk about, you will nearly work your ass out before you see it then.
Nothing changed, only inflation happened which is global and a sign of technological advancement and modern forwardness.
It's has never been easy! There was never a time it was easy. Poor people, I don't know how they think.

Leave them, let them be blabbing. Even in your 30s, one should have a second thought about marriage. A very nonsense and disgusting arrangement with overwhelming expectations, when you can't meet up, you are doomed!

SMH is it not a bike man that won federal reps in kaduna. Dont look at the present look at his potential. Any man that is hardworking and love you is key
It's not hardwork, it's grace. How many more bike men have become Senator since then? Obi's popularity propelled it and be it's not every time you get to witness that. And who says u can't predict the future with today's situation? We can easily hope that a full time staff of accesbank has potentials to become a bank manager someday but tell me the potential of a bike man whose only dream is to go into MARRIAGE instead of working on improving himself and his finances first? Go tell your sister to marry a bikeman, by the time kids start showing up, Na hunger go kill them!

I don't joke wit my mama. While growing up mom can give me her last card just to make me happy, she doesn't mind getting loans for me. But Popsy despite having in abundance will tell u his gat no penny. I wouldn't call him Stingy, but his only being careful about his finances so the family won't go broke. I figured it out later.

There is a connection between mom nd I, we share secrets and tell eachother alot. But Popsy always forming the macho man, carrying muscles around like Johnny Bravo and keeping to himself.

As a man paying my bills now, I understand wat my Popsy was actually going through back then which I failed to grasp as a child/teenager. Unfortunately, the did as been done. Me and mum na 5nd6
No my friend, it's not so. My father took time to explain this to me
You see, women don't value money because it's not thier primary role to provide. Fathers can have yet don't want to spend when it's not a necessity, but will, if it's a real need. This is bore out of fear of scarcity, a family man who has no money is as vulnerable as an antelope without legs. So unforeseen circumstances may occur that need financial attention, when there's no reserved money, then the worst can happen, it's not a matter of being stringy!

I would have said OP is exaggerating if I didn't have an aunt that married a man EXACTLY like this. She slumped and died at the age of 42 leaving 2 young teenagers behind. There are so many irresponsible men like this out there yet they'll come online to diminish women's efforts, claim they're the ones paying all the bills and women are leeches. That's why I will continue to say it that Nigerian men are 100% worse than the women they constantly criticize

Same thing is happening to me already
My man come like women , he doesn't have money to pay rent, but he has money to give to side chicks. No money to pay an only child school fees (where some people have 5kids) but there's money for constant beer 🍺, no money to cook, but there's money to play betting. An early grave is what such women will experience if they don't wise up, in my case I was captivated by his handsomeness and six pack, a guy that's over six feet tall but so lazy. Nobody should overlook reg flags when dating o, it was same when we were dating, I was the one spending on him while still competing with other chicks for his attention. He would dress up in suits so neighbours would think he has a good job only to leave to play bet from morning till when normal people are returning home in d evening from thier various work. he claims he graduated with an upper degree from the University but he's actually a school dropout, probably used his school fees to play bet. And it was exactly like this when I was dating him. He now claim it's the side women that are spending on him, while he wastes away in betnaija shops and beer parlour, imagine the shamelessness!!!! Good riddance! I took over the role of both man and woman in the marriage until last year when I decided to use my tongue πŸ‘… to count my teeths, if u understand what I mean. Worst is, he thinks he did me a great favour by marrying me, all the time he would say there are enough boyfriends out there but no husband, as if he married me properly, someone that couldn't afford an ordinary introduction. Well, I can't kill myself for a man that will mourn my death for barely two days in his side chick's house.

this was disrespectful but I'll address it. As a business person, you're primarily a risk taker, your landed asset would still be there if you died of hunger, but you sell it, raise capital, invest in a business, make plenty money and buy more Landed properties. From having just one, you now have like 10, or about 5 and counting in my case, and enough money to leave a shithole country like Nigeria .... so you didn't sell it for just 10k,20k 50k daily, even if you did, how many Nigerians make 50k daily?

Am still not convinced
Am a business woman and I own a shop filled with goods, there's no way you will buy multiple lands in a shop while from doing business except over a long period of time, like 6 years and above. That said, robbing Peter to pay Paul is never wise, an idea. Landed property what is otherwise called Real estate is a business on it's own and only few shop and warehouse owners can compete with it

I'll sell my land to buy goods from China, pay them cash, pay shipping and customs clearing to come and sell to you on credit? Lol
Why you no go neet chinese to give you the goods on credit grin
My dad taught me that the day you give credit that day you've lost that customer cheesy
E no go near your shop again.
I'd rather have the goods in my warehouse than lose it on the promise of I go pay later.
If your money no complete, go and save up grin
Who in his right senses sell land to buy goods in whatever form? Goods u will be selling 10k 20k and 50k daily and eat the money? U will sell an asset like a landed property to buy goods in the shop and use it to eat? Am finally giving up on Nigerians!
