Some things we need to consider, someone works with MTN and is based in Gombe, his pay check gets prepared in Lagos and he is payed from there. Which state does his taxes get remitted to? Lagos.
Most bank staff are outsourced and almost all outsource companies are based in Lagos. Who do they remit the income tax of their company to?
I don't know true your post is but oil companies that operate in the South South are rumored to also have their head quarters in Lagos.

In my opinion these states with high IGR
should no longer be giving monthly
allocation, instead let them make do with
there IGR, and remmit 10% of their IGR to
the FG.
if a state contributes to the pool, why should they be denied the little token they get in return.

If the federal government wants other states to develop well and earn much more revenue, instead of denying states earning huge their RIGTH, the FG should focus on giving other states the opportunities it gave those states.
For example, too many things depend on Lagos state and many of those could be redirected to other states by the FG. Do so by making alternatives from other states much more viable.

Lagos shouldn't contribute 400+Billion and you say it should not be given anything, that's unfair and it' provides no incentives for the state governor to optimize for revenue generation since they're going to confiscated any way.

Village people they pursue the man. Why sell a house to build in the village.

Since he has numerous real estate Investments, are you telling me that the rental income from those Investment properties can't build a house for him in the village?
it doesn't matter for what reason he wants to sell them or whether rental incomes are able to build a new one. The house is his, he can decide to sell it and burn all the money. No one has the right to question his decision/authority on his own properties unless those people gave him money to build the house.

There's been a rise of Nigerians defaulting on Loans and coming online to form victims.
Why would you take a loan you have no plans of paying back?
This Loan companies don't collect collateral, so how else do expect them to recover their money if they don't harras you?

Just go through this thread and see how wicked humans are.
https://nairaland.macsoftware.info/6835279/loan-app-agent-keeps-blackmailing
They all forget this loan company is somebody's investment with staff to pay.
If everyone keeps defaulting on the loan won't they run out of business?

WHY ARE WE NEVER STRAIGHTFORWARD AS NIGERIANS?
I urge the CBN/ FG to start blocking the BVN and bank s attached to the BVN of loan defaulters, this will reduce the trend of evil people taking loans and refusing to pay.
lots of Nigerians are ungrateful bastards whose words don't matter to them.

I haven’t been a victim. But I borrowed money on time from a loan company and I saw 1.5% interest rate and I was cool with that. Only for them to furnish an agreement after my has been credited that the interest is 9% I felt like crying. How can I borrow 98k and end up paying 137k what did I do. I tried to going back to where I was 1.5% interest, it was not taking me there. I called the lady that referred me, she said I didn’t read it well or I saw it and ignored it. I told her after doing my calculations and I felt okay I can do this only to be told this. I promised never to take from them again. My experience was not bad and I won’t recommend any one to.
no way is 9% of 98k equal to 39k. Do your maths well.

Firstly, I see court weddings as unnecessary. What's the essence of it if you're not thinking of divorce?
I think court weddings favour only or mostly females, who want to have a good share of your assets once divorce happens. Are there any hidden benefits a guy stands to achieve when he court-weds his wife?
in Nigeria I don't think our laws award 50% of anything to either of the parties involved. But I do know sometimes the court does demand the husband to pay a certain amount to his ex-wife. This is mostly the case when the wife is jobless and has nothing, in my opinion it is okay that way, to help stand on her feet. I don't know how long or how many times a husband has to pay such 'alimony'.

That is to the best of my knowledge anyway.

You are typing complete balderdash!! Be observant. There are women that have same level of testosterone as men. They are hairy, muscular with deep voice and breast. Large clitoris like an infantile penis and they may be abnormally attracted to same sex. Go and read about CAH syndrome. It is a subtype of intersex.
It's either you're the one typing balderdash or you lack comprehension skill. If you read the very post you quoted very you'd see that those people were already explained and they're definitely part of the intersex. The ones we're discussing do not meet these criteria but it's okay.

I'm already tired of responding to various Nairalanders as many are only interested in throwing insults around.

Intersex are with both organs, trans are with physical features but opposite hormones, how Tf is that hard for you to understand?
As it stands right now, trans is anyone that claims to feel like the other gender. I'm a man, but if tomorrow I decide to claim I feel like I was born in the wrong body and start the transition process medically. I would be considered transgender.

Hormones you have has little to do with it, it's all about what you feel. If they really had the hormones as you claimed, those hormones would propel their body to develop as their desired gender.

Let's put it this way, if they were a man and they have female hormones(estrogen) in them, their body would start developing the way that of a woman's should. An example is development of breasts. The fact they don't develop any of these shows they have normal level of the opposite hormones in their body.

If it's a woman that supposedly has the male hormones (testosterone) they'll develop as a man, that is no or very very little breasts, masculine physical structure, baritone voice, much more facial hair than usual and a lot more.

But unfortunately most of them usually develop as the gender they were born with. And later in life decide to switch.

This decision to switch is usually as a result of many things which this thread is not about.

So, are you saying because they were naturally born th a t way, they can't become a Christian and can't make heaven?
leave some of these people to be quoting nonsense.

Someone who never had a say in the way they were born or would be born would automatically be punished not for their decision to not accept Christ but because of actions beyond their capabilities.

Sometimes we don't need to ask these kind of questions because they're self explanatory. Never was someone's gender a condition for going to heaven, wasn't mentioned in the Bible and elsewhere. I don't know why people ask these kind of questions, I know there need for questions but a level of understanding of the Bible should clarify things without asking questions.

Black people has the highest amount of Transgender in the world. Bruce is a millionaire and can afford whatever procedure he wants, hence he went for it. Natural born trans do not, Bruce and your Bobrisky are cross dressers who wishes they were Trans.

Uninformed individuals like you need to go to Vietnam and Thailand to see millions of Transgenders, then come back and tell me they all took medication. Read an actual book Mr

FYI, there are lots and lots of natural born trans in Nigeria, but our society still see them as unnatural being with our I-too-holy-better mentality.
The problem you have is you don't know the appropriate word/term to use. The 'trans' in the word literally means they transferring or moving from one gender to another. If they were born naturally that way why then do they need to 'transfer' to another gender( so to speak)?

The people you're talking about I believe are those this thread is specifically discussing about and that is intersex, those who were naturally born with both reproductive organs or features.

The other group are people who were born a particular gender(sex) say Male but feel like and wish to be the other gender(female) those are transgender and Bruce is one of those and not even Bobrisky as I'm not sure has undergone any surgery like Bruce.

I'm aware that sometimes intersex people are sometimes considered as transgender but on this discussion that's not what we're talking about as we've already classified them as intersex (and they're naturally born).

I don't even see the essence of the insults.

You think it takes one person to effect a change? One smart person in the midst of dumbasses will make no difference. A cup of water doesn't make an ocean, neither does a tree make a forest.

It takes a collective effort to effect change, and that is not possible when 95% of the populace are dumb.

This is not time to be sentimental and cry what have you done. You, what have you done? Even if I've done a thing, how would you feel the impact when the black mind is never ready to their own, but rather seek ways to bring the individual down due to envy and selfishness.

I know how many times I've started a business in most remote places in Nigeria, only to get frustrated by the indigenes.

Throwing that card of 'what have you done' makes you an idiot. That's the same card the present government played, and where has it led us?

You're just proving me right by this hogwash you just spewed.

Who told this man that being a transgender is unnatural? This is the effect of what bobrisky has caused, making Nigerians thinks Transgenders are surgically done. (Transgender and crossdresser) I believe what this idiot meant is a cross dresser and not a trans. Because actual trans have natural organs but opposite gender hormones.

Please read an actual book and know the difference between intersex, cross dresser and transgenders and stop misinforming the public with your half brain
I think you're actually confused. Transgender persons actually go through surgeries and sometimes homone altering medications to become their desired gender, what that means is they were not naturally born that way(desired gender).

A popular example is Bruce Jenner who's now known as Caitlyn Jenner, he was a man(an Olympic medalist)
and fathered Children(ex. kylie jenner) before going through the processes I mentioned above to become Caitlyn(a woman).

That being said, you're actually misinforming people.

Yes you are right, they were invented by individuals but do you know that their government took charge and came to their aid in most cases before it actually became this big? Can African government or in this case Nigerian government do such or haven't you seen a lot of those smart individuals on NL front-page with one little invention or the other but you and I know that's where it ends so you see where government comes to play in all this now? American car maker Ford got his big boost when the government stepped in but we know that can't happen in Nigeria. Even before Innoson there has been so many guys that has tried car making in this country but when the government refused to assist they all died off, a man started car making in the 80s but till he died nothing much came out of it and even after death nothing cos it was abandoned just the way he left it. I don't know how Innoson does his magic to get to this present stage and the man is really trying honestly but believe me if the government had assisted him one way or the other maybe we won't be using foreign cars much again. So you see my brother even if you invent anything and you don't have the necessary backup it all amounts to total waste at the end.
I see your point,

Truly at this point or stage in development, we don't need to invent or discover anything new. All we need is to basically 'copy' development strategies as have been implemented by other countries that saw success in them and the government is heavily needed in those aspect. The reason I brought it down to the individual level is because the person I quoted use this opportunity to insult every African/Nigerian as though he is not one. If he as a Nigerian is better as he claimed maybe he should have done something stellar and wonderful but unfortunately, he's just like the rest subhuman species as he called it.

Believe it or not, the white has almost mapped out their life from their beginning... Even in 1515, they were still more developed than present day Nigeria.

I wouldn't doubt it again when the white claim blacks are sub-humans... We definitely are of a different species, not just a different race.

undecided
This is really funny and depressing at the same time. Do you think statements like this solve any problems? Do they even look into the challenges at all.

And more importantly, what have you done or contributed to the betterment of Nigeria and/or Africa?

Most of things you see were done(or invented) by individuals not governments as I know you'd want to cede the responsibility to the government. What have you done to make Africa better developed?

Or do you think by making these kind of statements you automatically seize to be a black man or an African/Nigerian and automatically becomes a white man or of a higher and better specie?

But is this not how it is done in the Developed world?
the fact that 'developed' world is doing it doesn't mean it is the right thing to do. In the US they're now compaigning for the government to forgive/cancel all student debt, do you know why? It has done more harm than good.

In a country where there are not enough jobs and even the available few only pay peanuts, how long will it take you to pay back a 5m loan that accrues 5% interest every year?

If there was no financial recklessness and corruption, we won't be having this conversation now. Even right now, if and when thus education bank is introduced, the same corruption that crippled what we had before would definitely show up. Corruption had remained undefeated and if it isn't defeated it'll keep affecting every aspect of our lives.

You are quite simply stupid. Learn to spell then get back to me. Only half educated morons use deep web and dark web interchangeably. A little learning they say is a dangerous thing. Where did I tell you that the deep web only existed after TOR if not for your desire to interject needless information by creating a straw man argument.

In any case, you are a half wit so any riposte by you will be ignored and I will leave you to stew in your ignorance.
Replying a dummy with poor comprehension skill was the mistake I made in this conversation. The very first message you quoted clearly shows that. But I'll leave you to your madness as it is well equipped to deal with you.

What are you trying to communicate?
Go read about the history of TOR. TOR is not the only means of accessing the deep web (different from dark web) but has become popular and yes, it was created on behalf of the US intelligence agencies. It wasn't created so that they could access the deep web but so they could secure their communications, locations and IP.

Not every time "I too know", sometimes you go and read on it first.
You're too dumb to read and understand. Even your message implicitly agreed with mine but you still couldn't see it all because of your 'I too Know'

Never did I deny TOR being built for the US intelligence agencies. Like I said if TOR is the only means of accessing it, it means prior to TOR there was no such thing as the deep/dark web, which brings us to there was no need for TOR then. The deep web existed before TOR simple.

I don't know what you're on about like a rabbied dog.

By the way for simple conversations like these both deep web and dark web are used interchangeably, I guess you probably didn't know of that.

He's right.... TOR was first created for the US military. Its now an open source so the US can't inject code or backdoor. There are lot of people that can read the codes in case of any backdoor.
you don't understand. TOR is not the only way to access .onion website that's my point.

The first time I accessed it back in the day, I had two options one was TOR, I have forgotten the other. But TOR isn't the only way.

Tor, the software used to access the dark web was created for the use of US intelligence agencies, so they have also been studying the vulnerabilities of and ways of attacking Tor
this is actually wrong information. If the software used in accessing the dark web was created for US intelligence agencies then it means prior to the creation of the software the darkweb didn't exist, which means there was no need for the software. There's basically one means to access the darkweb just as there's to access the regular internet we know of. That means is with the US of certain kind of VPNs and certain kind of browsers capable of opening .onion websites, nothing more than that.

The level of anonymity provided by your preferred vpn of choice matters a lot.

The entire country is running on a budget deficit. With no bias to any tribe whatsoever, it is my opinion that the creation of 36 states was unnecessary. A lot of states in the north should be merged.

The entire south east region, in all fairness, should be merged into its 3 most productive states; Anambra, Imo, and Ebonyi.

It seems only Lagos and Oyo exist in the south west. In the south south, Cross River State has lost the right to standalone and should promptly be merged with Akwa-Ibom.

Most importantly, any Nigerian President who has the balls should implement the CONFAB report full-time. Any state wey no fit survive make everybody there go die!!!
And the north that is basically shadow states be left as is?

To be honest you don't even know what you're talking about. Which one is most productive state in the East, if you know nothing about the East, just close your mouth.

Omo! Eeehn.

VAT should be collected by states, let any struggling state continue to struggle, this would give governors the motivation to improve their states. Only very few states say 5 or so can survive on their own without VAT we can't continue like this forever. Furthermore, stupid expenditures must be stopped. They must be stopped.
