That cross chick is already so big.
I have seen how big those noiler males can get, but the problem seems to be their weight especially if they aren't fed pure formulated feeds.

I got 7 noiler day old noiler in the first week of December 2024, two turned out to be male while five turned out female. To my surprise, after 4 months and a week they started laying. I have been of the opinion that it takes around late in the 5th month to the 6th months for noiler birds to start laying. Thoughts on this?

Pls what do you feed the tureys to make it profitable. I am asking because of the price of commercial feed these days. For my noilers, I combine anything that I can see. Usually 1kg of commercial feed, dried washed and dried yam and cassava peel, beans shaft or husk, rice husk, moringa leaf, dried outer part of water melon, maize, millet or guinea waste e.t.c I'll just wash very neatly, ensure that it is well dried, then pound together. I only use 2hatever I can get my hands on at the moment and not necessarily everything I listed everytime. Can I adopt the same for turkeys?

How are your noilers responding to this? I am getting five today at about 4 weeks old, and as I'm currently unemployed, I'm looking for ways to cut costs.

I plan to keep them for their eggs specifically.

So, I’m down with headache, cold, itching throat and catarrh. I went to the pharmacy yesterday and the pharmacist said I could take loratidine but I’m not so sure if it’s safe so I didn’t get it.

Now, I’m wishing I had bought it because this hot water/balm therapy I’m doing is not fast enough for me. I feel hot and cold at the same time.

Please who has felt this way before and what did you take. My next ANC is not until 16th of this month.

Loratidine is safe in pregnancy. Why not make tea with ginger, cloves and honey? Very effective and safe. I also add a bit of garlic and black pepper to mine. Then I take it all day long instead of ordinary water. Two to three days and it's gone.

Just cockroaches.

If you have wall geckos in your house (highly discouraged), they also reduce cockroach population by feasting on them. I actually thought I was completely rid of roaches, not knowing it was geckos keeping them low.

You mix the sugar and baking soda, put it in small containers and keep it where they will eat it for some days

I've heard that a mixture of equal parts baking soda and sugar is deadly to them. Can't find baking soda but my brother says he used baking powder and it worked.

For now, wall geckos are decimating them, before I launch an attack on them too.

I also used Green leaf powder for a while. It's very effective.

I do experience this too in my second trimester. Sadly, I can't tell you of anything that really helps.

What I do is make vegetable soup with lots of pepper because I know it purges me if I take a lot of it. I do this for two to three days, weekly.

Its the hormones affecting your digestive system.

Scaling up require enough capital plus housing, turkey farming is a big stress on it own, though there's a big money there if well manage.

The last batch I sold, I cash out within a week of posting the poult on social media platforms.

I plan on going into that full time soon. There's this guy on Twitter, Saleem Bawa whose ideas and activities about rearing animals in Nigeria are simple and relatively cheap.

It will be good to start a pilot project with turkey
