But the Federal Government released money to state governors to procure CNG buses. This is almost more than a year now. Where are those buses. It's unfortunate we don't even understand the english we speak. Something is unveiled, yet nothing is seen. Mad people all over the place. 1 Like |

Governor Alex Otti hope you're seeing what's going on in Enugu state. You insist that your state pensioners must forfeit their gratuity payment. I'm sure you once collected severance payment as a banker. This is grave injustice to pensioners in Abia state. This gratuity payment was part of your campaign promises during the 2023 electioneering campaign. Now you're singing a different song. There is Godoooh. Please rescinded this your decision. It's anti people.

We're all saints today, but the truth remains that the Labour party of today in Abia state was the PDP of yesterday. Only the gullible is deceived. Who were those that looted the state treasury dry between 2008 and 2015. Who was the one always introduced as 'my personal friend '. When did these criminals invade Abia state? Who are they? Has the invasion stopped? Only time will tell.

What else do you expect, when our leaders are busy wesponizing hunger and starvation against Nigerians, disrespect, mock, and even ask them to go about looking for free food to eat. When you don't have respect and regard for your own, what do you expect from others. It's a shame.

Hope you've not forgotten that these pensioners came out severally and protested against the former istration for the backlog of their entitlements. What else had you wanted them to do. The major tools Alex Otti deployed during his electioneering campaign were salaries and pensions. Now he's trying to shortchange these old people. Abomination. Ebonyi and Enugu state governors have cleared the pension and gratuity arrears they inherited. There's continuity in governance

Food importation will never bring down food prices but will rather encourage massive corruption as it happened in the ministries of Humanitarian affairs and Women development. The economy needs to be stabilized with pragmatic socio-economic policies that will bring down inflation, reverse the spiraling exchange rate and bring down the high cost of petroleum products. The high rate of insecurity, banditry and terrorism need to be addressed. These are necessary conditions for a stable economy. Scores of farmers are killed on daily basis in their farms and government appears helpless. Security personnel are murdered and it's reported as if chickens and goats are the ones slaughtered.. I think it's high time someone turns in his resignation letter before it becomes too late.

Everyone is talking about kidnapping, kidnapping, but who are the kidnappers. Gumi said that the security agents know the bandits kidnapping dozens of people and where they stay too. Probably they are using the ransome paid to stockpile arms and ammunitions with the backing of their sponsors. But the intriguing question is, which particular war do they intend to fight

Cardoso is incompetent as CBN, likewise whoever is the minister of finance. You can't remove fuel subsidy and float the exchange rates at same time. The gains made from the subsidy removal will be eroded by the effects of a floated exchange rate especially in a situation where all petroleum products are imported. All the economic variables will maintain random but skewed movement. If you're removing subsidy, there are some derivatives you must put under check in order to reap the benefits

This is their turn to manipulate the forex market the same way they manipulated the stock market some years ago. Stock prices were being manipulated at the Nigeria Stock Exchange on daily basis by their cronies. When the global recession came, our stock market took the deepest dive than other world markets. While both household and business are adversely affected by this tragic events in our forex market, a group of people smile to the banks. Why can't they repeat the feat recorded when Prof Osibanjo was acting president. With his intervention the naira slide was halted and the exchange rate moved down from 700 naira to 400 naira. The Mafia vowed that he'll never assume the duties of acting president again. They will never allow people with good intentions for this country to occupy leadership positions. |

Despite the removal of fuel subsidy by this government, the CBN still prints money almost on daily basis for them and the government also borrows millions of dollars every month. Rather than the masses feel the impact of good governance, it's been high level insecurity, hunger, poverty, and depression. How much has been saved from fuel subsidy removal? Clueless slowpoke saying it's his turn. God will judge you, your turn, your family, and your generation. God will judge you for every soul that has been lost due to your incompetence. Den of looters all over the place.

Some people will choose to bet with their entire life. When they loose, they will start to look for someone to hold responsible for their woes. In every game there must be a winner and a looser. Our own case is not different. Sports betting is harmful and injurious. They should leave Iwobi alone and go home and mourn their financial losses. That's their choice. 3 Likes |

Probably the spraying machine was first used to spray a herbicide and was not properly cleaned or flushed before using it to spray an insecticide on crops. It will definitely kill them because traces of the herbicide are still there. I've had this experience. Also, heavy dose of the insecticide can block the chloroplasts in the plant there by preventing the leaves from undergoing photosynthesis. The leaves will turn pale and start to wither. So one should be careful on the use of these chemicals in the farm.

This clown called Zubair should be sacked for poorly packaging his principal. There's no extant civil service rule/financial regulations that permits that. I believe the agency has an that the OAGF remits approved funds. Such agency receives remittances and not private s. Anything on the contrary is criminal. It's only disbursements to beneficiaries that are made to their private s. It appears the looting spree is unabating.

Niger state is ten times the whole of SE and an LG is fifty times the size of Abia state. Man with a thin skull. What has this post got to do with SE and Abia state. 2015 general election can't be divorced from the general insecurity in the country today. The stones you throw into the market square may fall on your brother or someone close to you. What about the #200billion naira demanded by the Myetti Allah to pay the terrorists and bandits. Who received the money and why has terrorism and banditry continue unabated in the North. Niger state produced two former heads of state and senior military officers both serving and retired. Does it mean they can't collaborate with government and security agencies to tackle these security challenges in their state. The size of Niger state suddenly tripled after the 2015 elections? He who gathers termite infested firewood invites the lizard to come and feast.Instead of you to face the fact you're here to lecture us on the size of Niger state in contrast to the SE. That's interesting. YOU go explain tire.

This is still an extension of Buhari's economic policy somersaults. This printing of currency for the FG was first revealed by the Edo state governor, Godwin Obaseki. This was denied by the Buhari government and later itted to be true. Nothing has changed. But the question begging for answers is, if CBN is still printing for this Tinubu's government to finance their capital and overhead expenditures, what.happened to the purported savings from fuel subsidy removal. Is Lai Mohammed and his likes still hanging around?

Must it be this time the country's economy is in very deep recession. A country where a whole month income can't buy the cheapest brand of local rice. This is the most insensitive, incompetent and corrupt government ever seen.

It's good not to dish out information based on half truth. Judiciary workers in Abia state were never owed 8 years salary arrears. What happened was that sometime in 2015 JUSUN went on strike for non implementation of a new salary structure, CONJUS. The strike lasted for four months and was called off after the state government had agreed to it's implementation. But government invoked the policy of no work no pay and refused to pay the four month period JUSUN was on strike. After the strike in 2015, judiciary workers' salary in Abia state has at no time been delayed or denied till date. The records are there. Gov Alex Otti in his magnanimity chose to pay the four months arrears which the government in 2015 refused to pay. This is quite commendable. But the records should be put straight. Abia state government never owed it's judiciary workers 8 years salary arrears.

It's only the gullible that be deceived. For the records, in the Abia state's third quarter financial report, the governor collected more than 35% of it's total revenue as security vote. This is about #25billion naira within three months. This is a man that during campaign said that he'll never collect security vote. Let the fools allow themselves to be fooled the more. Running the government from his house has gulped #7billion naira in three months. Consider other state's report for this third quarter and compare the reports. It's on their websites
