So, I just parked somewhere around there, chilling inside my car and hoping I will get a trip to mainland from there, suddenly, a guy just came to my window and was asking me who am I?, I looked at the guy from head to toe, observing if he's a security guy,

Sorry to say, I see those SUPPOSED EXPERIENCED drivers who park on that road as senseless ones.
That road is a two-lane road and parking there is very senseless, cos it somehow hinders convenient driving for two lanes.
There's something I call SAFE PARKING - you park where your car is safe from getting scratched by any other vehicle, and away from hindering convenient movement of other vehicles.
Lastly, I don't fancy parking where other drivers are parked like crowd.
I always HIDE myself in good positioning places.
If I see where drivers are parked in 4, I space myself.
They need to chase those guys that park on that alternative route entrance away from there.

Na because some of those riders sabi tap price. Normal-normal, 1hr trip no suppuse dey less than 11k. Fuel is now almost 1k everywhere.
If anyone picks trip of 1hr for 8k, then he's not making the deserved profit on that (excluding Suzuki miscreants).
8k should be perfect for rides 45mins and less.
This indrive has not done the needful yet.
They are still tossing us around.

I am speaking from experience (Got the same Car 2 years ago) you can still get a good Nigeria used Car with 4m. The only problem I see here is how to get a trusted mechanic to run a check and say it (the condition of the car) as it is, most of them are looking at making gains from both the seller and the buyer. RIP to Gazzuz if you know what I mean.

Few, not all. Some will leave the price to the barest because they know one driver will eventually pick it. To some drivers it’s about more trips, more money, but how about breaking even? Car maintenance as well?

Well I think we don’t have enough riders right now. Every where seem boring with Baba’s midas touch. I just open the app to even see what the price looks like on a normal Monday morning rush and it’s not enticing atall.

Funny enough, majority of those riders know what's up.
Since the change in fuel price, I don't pick rides, I bid higher and they mostly accept.
Today alone, the extra tips I got from them covered my meal for the day, 3k.
These people been tipping extra like say dem plan am this week.
But I dey compare Bolt and indrive for same ride - indrive dey high bolt in SOME areas and vice versa.
Well, fuel don increase, rides must increase, too. No time.

Many of us here are currently running the hustle and we go tell you exactly what's on the field.
If the car is yours and you sabi Lagos road to some extent, hop on the hustle and do it for 2 weeks as testing.
If it's not profitable to you (which I doubt), then you can improvise.

Picked someone from phase 1 to GTB airport road for 12k. I checked bolt and saw 18k

Uber and Bolt are more Nigerians than indrive. Na indrive dey carry last for everything.
