Hi guys, I'm looking to buy a Windows Laptop that I can use to run Capcut PC. The videos will typically be 30 to 40 mins video with background music, sound effect, and video effects. I need something that won't lag/struggle. Are there any solid laptop with integrated graphics (ones with dedicated graphics cost a lot) that wil still run capcut for this purpose without any lags? Budget is a little over 300k. Thank you in anticipation. |

Don't stop working and pretend the 1 million naira doesn't exist. It is hard to save such an amount (even though the naira is declining in value rapidly) but even haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarderrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr to keep and multiply it. You're not a millionaire yet - if you have the mental capacity to comprehend that part. |

it depends on (1) how you define the phrase, "violent crimes" and (2) statistics. Check these out: Would kidnappings for rituals (brutal killing), cultism-related slayings, and kidnappings for ransom, for example, be considered violent crimes? Does the Nigerian system have any database for stats for overt violent crimes and ones being done without public awareness, perhaps even right now as we're having this discussion? Developed countries have databases for almost everything, making it easy to quantify issues per geographical area/ethnicity/period/etc. The database of a thing is almost non-existent here. The bottom line is there are lots of violent crimes happening in Nigeria. But the figures aren't there to know to what extent. 2 Likes |

kekakuz: Ọmọ, I was about to type the same thing about slapping him. A man old enough to have a house couldn't decide on a situation like this without being confused and needing others input? I'm just reading the thread, including the update section where the OP described the type of mother and grandmother of the deceased baby. And he still can make a split second decision? Some people in this live need to learn a lesson, the hard way. He should consider himself lucky he didn't make the wrong decision of allowing that kid buried on his compound. #Walks out of the thread disappointed and angry. |

Fryx: Knowledge 1: There's nothing wrong in getting help from either female or male. We all would at some point in life need help to get back up. BUT from whom and how you get help is so, so important to consider, which leads to the next point. Knowledge 2: Women generally don't help men for free except they are getting something out of the situation or they hope to get something out of it. From your recent update and original post, this woman definitely wants a relationship from you. She gave you her money & time, and probably did some other stuff, whether to your detriment or benefit, hence why she held onto a particular gift you gave her, cried when you destroyed the gift, and gave you coded warning of the consequence. But as you have stated, you don't like her on a relationship level. Did you let her know that from the jump? No need to answer, because assuming you did, you action and words are not congruent. You must have been telling her you miss her, love her and all that type of romantic indaboskis. I'm sure you were giving her boyfriend energy. For you to even wrote she stood by you like a mother, I'm sure there were occasions where she was wiping your tears like a mother would a child, bouncing you on her laps like a mother would a baby, cuddling you like a mother would a toddler, and wrapping you around her arms like you would a sad son. If your words don't match your action, many women would follow what you do. For instance, a man would tell a lady that I'm not looking for anything serious, yet he'd be giving the boyfriend attention and vibes. That way he's sending mixed signal to the lady and most lady would usually go with the action (s). When the man leaves her, she would feel cheated and may go any extent to f the guy up even if she say 'no problem.' Knowledge 3: Before you got deep with this woman, I'm sure you've seen signs of brokenness in her. That's when you should have cut things off with her. But hey, I think your like attracts her like. And what do you mean by She has very good heart, but very mean at the same time? That's a weak thing to say as a man. She no doubt has blind you to the red flags with her motherly love. As a man, you always want to leave as quickly as possible especially when you can tell a woman is too far gone in of toxicity/brokenness; she can't be redeemed. Never try to play God! To hell with all the help she has to offer. Do better next time, and I hope you get out of this mess you're in. Bye. |

Then I have to add this for OP and other people who would read this: Y'all might have read online to let a woman chose you, aka be the one chasing you or doing more of the pursuing. That's true and advantageous as it gives you the leverage as man. But I've never seen (maybe there is) a write up that caveat such advice with a warning to (if you can only understand all the weight this word carry) the intentions of every single woman/girl/lady who wants to be with you. Even if you're broke, don't be fooling yourself that she has good intention since you have no gold she can dig. You dig? Some women will come into your life, remotely control you, take control of your life until you become her puppet without realizing it, and destroy you. As a man, money, charisma, beauty, or other unique features/characteristics or a combination of two or more of these attracts all sorts of women, not just gold diggers, to you. Learn how to separate the wheat from the chaff. I'm curious OP, why did you become entangled with this woman even after your instinct or whatever you may want to call it signals the relationship is not 'natural' as she claimed? Were you playing God or captain save a hoe/toxic/damaged/broken woman? 1 Like |

Fryx: This is your answer. Knowing what she used the gift for would be a good starting point. Then you have to seek to understand who the lady truly is on the inside and what she's currently up to. You're in a mess, bro. With the current economic hardship, you're not suppose to run into this rabbit hole. Anyway, all of us must learn a lesson; some will learn the hard way, some the easy way. Which one would yours be? 1 Like |

pachigo001: Listen to what exactly? 1. Is she trying to run the relationship and you don't listen 2. Is she asking for more quality time together and you don't listen to her? You need to be specific, or else you might get and follow advice that'll will destroy your relationship, a relationship which there might be nothing wrong with. Be careful. |

Wearetheugliest: E tire me. He didn't set no standards at and from the outset of the relationship in the following order: talking stage, dating stage, courtship stage, and of course the early days of the marriage. Even after years of marriage you can't let your foot off the gas as a man. Now he's most likely in a precarious situation in which trying to change the dynamics of the relationship, reassert his masculinity would make the wife rebel. She'll be surprised at the change and push back - which she's told him. Don't necessarily blame women. It's human nature to resist change, in particular when it takes power away from us. And with women, how you start is how your finish. Some will have good relationships while others will have the opposite. Some people must learn a lesson. It's a cruel world. It is what it is. I'm out. 1 Like |

She's a freelance writer, if what she wrote on her bio is true. Presumably she's making money online as a freelancer, hence the reason she stayed indoors most of the time, which is not atypical of those with remote jobs. But she's here quoting Bible verses. You'd be surprised that a lot of people just say things that was down to them without critically examine those sayings. She must have heard pastors, friends, her parents, and others saying that if you worship God, you'll never lack, or something towards that line. But she willfully ignored the fact that 'faith without work is death/useless'. She must have also forgotten that there are paupers in the church/congregation she attends, and those people may even be serving God than she does. I dare her 'throw away' her freelance work and have no financial from anyone. Afterward, she can let me know if: 1. those bible verses will still apply, and 2. she will not run out of her apartment and go look for work 9-5 like her neighbors. Palazee:
