Good afternoon dear colleagues,
Some information flying around suggest that there's an increase in our income tax that would reflect in our June salaries.
Can we have a confirmation please.

The version at my end refers to those who were due for promotion as at 2023/2024, which exempts 2013 set of teachers who would be due this year. Please make further enquiries if possible from a reliable Board source so we can be well guided.

It'll be based on your current wage, not on the 30K. There is no plan for that at the moment
This qualifies for a new prayer point, I think 🤔

I guess we have two packages thus,
1. Promotion package which should hopefully come on the foundation of 30k minimu wage.
2. Federal Government palliative measure which several states are already implementing.

If we enjoy the two packages at the fullest will it be a crime?
May God help us in Rivers state 🙏

Good evening dear colleagues,
Just wish to find out if any one has an information on whether or not the promotion being implemented incorporates the 30k minimum wage (which I think has not been implemented in Rivers state) or based on the old salaries.
Gad2(m): 12:36am On Aug 23, 2023
Hello colleagues in the house, does this promotion based on 30k minimum wage implementation or simply a promotion based on the old wage structure? I'm asking because, to the best of my knowledge, (i may be wrong) Rivers state is yet to fully implement the 30k minimum wage, contrary to the former governor's promise.

Good morning everyone, please, I was advised to get in touch with the guy in charge of the ICT in Port Harcourt study centre over difficulties in accessing my portal, so I need to call him for an appointment. I've been out of the system for some time now and need to get back to complete my course. Can someone please assist me with his number? Please.

Ube board is so busy body, thats while their post primary schools board counterpart looked more organised, that makes them more superior over ube.

This is no mark of superiority but apathy in supervision coupled with manpower challenges in the senior section; both at the boards and the schools. My opinion though.

What are you insinuating? That one is fortunate to secure this job does not make him/her most perfect. Some teachers here needs constant upgrades. I feel ashamed when I see and listen to some acclaimed teachers write-ups and grammar.
Check the rules of this thread. Mostly, item 21 "please spell words correctly, when you post, and try to use perfect grammar and punctuation".
My dear, I understand your feelings. But then you should understand that do not post write-ups or reaction by the rules guiding academic formal writing. That is why you may read post written in pidgin english which is just for the fun of it and the friendly atmosphere the platform offers. Moreover, there could be errors due to certain conditions associated with the device in use.
Looking at your post, you will agree with me on the following:
1. The statement "Some teachers here needs constant upgrade"; and
2. "Some acclaimed teachers write-ups" both contain grammatical and punctuation errors. Furthermore, can one really HEAR what is written? Personally, I can only read writings.
I think we should simply accomodate somethings and save ourselves some excessive emotional outbursts. This is not to justify bad grammar though.

However, a source at the

increase was simply
companies paying their
Company Income Tax.
The person said CIT was

other deductions cover
National Water
Rehabilitation Projects,
National Agricultural
Technology ,
Payment for Fertilizer, State
Water Supply Project, State
Agriculture Project and
National Fadama Project.
To sum it up, here is what
the 36 states got after all

Get to the Schools Board, As you approach the door into Audit Dept. The door by your right (thet leads to Dir. Of Finance office) meet a fair young man or any of those there and make your request. Be ready to provide your computer number as it would be required, and that is if they have resumed issuance; as it was suspended about 3 weeks ago. I just wonder why the Bank Statements can't suffice. I tire for this pple oo.

grin i don't think so

Well, the issue with PPSB is as a result of some slow movers in some zones. As at last Monday, (6th), 18 out of the 23 zones had submitted their details to the Board. But what I can't deduce is whether or not thr Board can submit at once or must wait for the remaining 5. Meanwhile, as at friday 3rd, some other ministries had been scheduled up till June 20th. Let's keep praying for a divine intervention to sustain us through d process and we would smile at the end. Cheers.
