I, Sunday Okon Etim, on behalf my family, especially my beloved wife, Veronica, wish to express my sincere gratitude to Almighty God, the giver of life and the progenitor of everything, for His faithfulness. To Him alone be the glory.

I sincerely thank His Excellency, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State and the leader of our great party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the State, Pastor Umo Eno for finding me worthy to oversee the affairs of Mbo as Transition Chairman; the opportunity which has enabled me to contribute to the growth and development of Mbo.May God bless you with more vision and wisdom to lead Akwa Ibom well.

I am equally grateful to the State Chairman of PDP, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Aniekan Akpan and the entire PDP family for giving me the platform to contest and win the primaries as the party's Chairmanship candidate, Mbo Local Government.

PHOTO GALLERY OF ORO UNITY FORUM(OUF) MONTHLY GENERAL MEETING HELD TODAY 2ST JULY 2024 AT EAGLE PLUS HOTEL, # 6 ATAKPO STREET, OFF NWANIBA ROAD BY GOVERNMENT TECHNICAL COLLEGE,UYO.

The Oro Unity Forum (OUF) convened its monthly general meeting today, the 21st of July 2024, at the Eagle Plus Hotel, situated at #6 Atakpo Street, off Nwaniba Road, by Government Technical College Uyo. The gathering was a significant event, drawing from various parts of the region to discuss pertinent issues and strategies for the continued development and unity of the Oro community.

The meeting commenced promptly at 5:00pm with a welcome address from the President of the OUF, Elder Victor Esu, ACA. In his address, Elder Victor Esu expressed gratitude to all for their continuous and participation in the forum's activities. He emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration among the Oro people to achieve collective progress and development.

The meeting also featured a session where could voice their concerns and suggestions. Several took the opportunity to speak on various issues affecting the community, including the need for better healthcare facilities, improved educational standards, and enhanced security measures. The executive committee took note of these concerns and assured that they would be addressed in subsequent meetings.

To cap off the event, special recognition was given to some outstanding who had made significant contributions to the forum over the past months. The President reiterated the importance of such contributions in driving the forum’s mission forward.

The meeting concluded with a closing prayer, after which departed with a renewed sense of purpose and commitment to the OUF’s goals. The next general meeting is scheduled to take place on the 18th of August 2024, and were encouraged to attend and actively participate in the forum’s activities.
