How dare you rely only on what you can find in the bible explicitly? Yes, you may not find some Chatholic practices exactly because The Holy spirit reveals to the Body of Christ, the Church, those things Jesus did and were not written Jn21:25. Do not forget, Christ built His Church upon a rock (St Peter - the first Pope) which not even the gates of hell can prevail against MATT 16:18. BE CAREFUL! BE WARNED!

It has come to be my personal reflections. But I believe it troubles many Nigerians as well. The rate at which churches spread, littering every street, is alarming. Sometimes I ask: Is it a mark of godliness or religiousity? No doubt, separation in the first place shows disunity.
I see, quest for easy wealth could play a major role here. Hunger and joblessness could make one think of becoming a pastor. No wonder, if all that glitters is gold, why has the many churches not given birth to a more peaceful co existence among Nigerians?
Let those who are as worried as I am raise alarm before it turns to something else.
