This is the beauty of democracy. While the minority have their say the majority will have their way.

Only in Nigeria. That is why we wont progress. Check out the meaning of Filibuster

Don't forget the 2/3rd doesn't necessary means 2/3rd in the hallow chamber....na Sakari go ask "“Those in say Aye and those against say nay" and na him go still say “The ayes have it” irrespective of how loud the "northeren lawbreakers" were grin

Not correct. A vote count is required in this instance. Only in the case of simple majority is that 'aye and nay' allowed.

Who will sign the bill into law?

If the president vetos it and fails to sign it to law, and returns it to the national assembly and it gets a vote of 2 third majority to overule the veto, it becomes law.

Don't pick up a fight with me, i am only explaining to you how it goes.

Reno is a fool who likes to talk too much. Why the Efcc and Dss allows him to work free is still a surprise. He is a staunch critic of this government and deserves to be arrested and probed for corruption. I hope he is whisked away to kuje prison soon. Useless parrot

Uneducated
Uninformed
Illiterate
A kid
Northerner
Basement dwellers
Hypocrisy
Basket of deplorables

I simply do not know how to qualify you. So because Reno speaks he should be wisked away to Jail? Because he is not for Buhari it automatically makes him corrupt even when there is no iota of link to back your claim.

My advice.

Write Jamb and your Waec and go to school.

People like you with your views don't get Nigeria to be better, you guys are the Bunch of illiterate electorate that makes up so much of the leadership crisis of Nigeria. When the electorate is weak and ineffective, they certainly will vote leaders based on empty promises and not possible ideas...

I enjoy the USA Presidential and Vice presidential debates, and I make sure I listen to each of them without bias or been sentimental.
The presidential debate exposes, and helps voters know which candidate has the right acumen to rule, more knowledge of the government policies&histories and not just making empty boasts and promises. Also the debates are recorded. When a candidate wins and starts ruling, the senate will have a vote of confidence, here they tabulate all the winner said during the debate and use it to either a vote of confidence or move for impeachment(If he is not living up to expectations).
I believe if we put up this kind of system in place, it will help us know empty candidates and the right candidate.
We must also take away all forms of bigotry for this to work out.

What do You think.
LalasticLala, Mynd44 what's Your opinion

In which USA is the president impeached for not meeting debate performance? And which stupid vote of confidence is the senate expected to do on a sitting United States president? Certainly not in The USA I live. Debate is good for Nigeria OK. The other thing you added are just untrue.

sometimes I wonder how fayose became governor

which state in Nigeria does EFCC not have the right to make arrest?

Ekiti people, is this how you want to be governed?
cutting pormo and eating at the local buca.

stomach infrastructure, with which you will definitely still go hungry.

what has fayose done towards job creation or towards the development of Ekiti state? other than insult the president and make absurd and derogatory remarks.

Ekiti people stand up to this man and demand that he do what he was elected to do instead of going to market places and preaching hate

Gerrout, what has your freaking governor done towards job creation. Nonsense.

This is commendable. The corrupt judges homes have to been invaded and they must be locked up so as to serve as lessons to other judges not to undermine the powers of the executive. Too many corrupt judges hiding under the wig. They are hell bent on frustrating buhari's anti-corruption fight. The judges have never ruled in favor of buhari ever since be began several trials. Do you expect him to fold his hands and watch? How can a sane judge grant bail to the likes of Dasuki, Nnamdi kanu and El-zakzaky? Are the trio not a threat to national security? Buhari has to enforce his powers and forget democracy so he can clean up the rot in the system. Wike should not dare an order from above. Buhari obviously sent them and That is why he is the commander in chief of armed forces. He can get whatever he wants

Simple foolishness... Totally absurd. You need to get education.

I have learnt to ignore those who specialise in criticizing the successful and have nothing to show for it.

So they hug the internet and run around as paper and internet warriors with little think-abilities. As though they would be half as philanthropic or as reasonable as Aliko if they were in his shoes.

The man is a GCON, shrewd business man and knows the workings of government and governance. That's why he is such an Octopus. He holds a degree in Law too, amidst others. So he isn't talking without far greater knowledge than many critics. You don't go criticizing him in shallow fashion(s) or irresponsibly.

Many religious leaders that many critics virtually "worship" without question may have as much resources as Dangote might have access to yet only a few like Bishop Kukah and Pastor Bakare live almost regular lifestyles while still regularly contributing their opinions to National discourse regularly.

Dangote has already grown a business empire larger than Nigeria. He doesn't need to want to buy Nigeria. He already contributes significantly to our GDP already. What the rest of us should do isn't to criticise his every word and action but to work hard to establish our individual selves too - with God helping each one of us.

Everything we see is controlled by an unseen Hand that controls the Universe - the Omnipotent God. So why focus negative energy, not only on APC/Buhari/Tinubu but now Dangote? Why the baseless bile?

*P.S: I don't know Dangote and have absolutely no links with him/his business.*

Abi OOo my brother.

Nigerians can be stupid especially the poor ones.
