On Sunday, the 12th of January 2025, I returned from my trip in the east. I took a Sienna from Berger Bus stop going to Ajah, Lagos.

A lady on hijab carrying a baby was the last person to arrive. She sat in the middle while I sat close too the door. I alighted around Lekki. Her bag was on top of mine so the driver brought it down together with mine but forgot to put hers back inside.

My attention was on the Bolt guy I was chatting with to notify him that I was waiting. When I looked up. I noticed the extra bag wasn't put in the booth for the owner. I looked around for them but they were not in my sight anymore.

I thought of leaving the bag at that spot (which wasn't a bus stop anyway) but feared it will enter the wrong hand. So I took it home with the hope of going to Berger within the week which I did. I tried to check the things at the top of the bag to see if I'll get a or have any clue but sadly, there wasn't.

I've been feeling bad and thinking what the woman may be ing through. It wasn't an intentional act. I've been to Ajah and Berger a couple of times and no luck. I met with the NURTW and gave them my and no communication yet.

On the 4th of February, 2025, I had to unpack some of the things in the bag so I can post them. I have reached out to some big influencers and blogs and none is giving me audience. Someone recommended NAIRALAND to me which is why I'm posting here today.

This is the bitter truth about the shortlist. Don't engage urself with false hope. You are not shortlisted kindly move on with your life immediately. I how some people were peldling new that there will be supplementary list for the screening. Till today nothing like that happened.

I'm so angry at myself. I came to pick my port today. It's been 12 days and I didn't receive any sms regarding the readiness of my port.

So I walked in and did what others were doing. Dropping the tiny piece of paper with some numbers. I was running out of patience and decided to meet an officer who will help check if the port is ready rather than waste my time there.

He said it is not free since I want it fast tracked. He requested for 2k to be hidden inside a paper which I did. As he left, I followed him to the rest waiting for theirs. Guess what? My name was being called to collect. Don't know where the man is so I can collect my money back. ���

I suspect result is out. I was just asked to provide my exam number by a relative now. I'm waiting for a on what next!

I had 6 questions left to submit. I was timed out. The logical/math problem wasted my time. Going to Onitsha then to Lagos. I pray for Good luck and safe travels to everyone (Including myself)

Thank you all for the help. I tried again today at Ikoyi port office. Started with the NIN. I was given a number tag. After which we went in for capture. Then NIN slip was printed. I laminated.

I took it to servicom. I was given some papers to photocopy. Iwas also told to photocopy my port page and the NIN slip I was given.

Proceeded to going to different offices for signatories. Then another capture for the port reissue. I was told to come back after two weeks. Pls is it possible to get it before then? My travel date is 14th Dec.

I'm at Ikoyi office now. I took a new port 8 copies (N500). The forms I printed were rejected and the business thief printed two pages of what I initially had. (just the processing information missing). I was charged N1000.

They said my interview date as reflected in my doc is 14th Dec. I had to tell them my travel date is 13th night. He gave me a tough time but reconsidered.

I submitted my old port, the officer in charge said I'll need a national ID card. I'm currently there and they are saying they've closed for the day. Me that came very early.

Every poster keeps saying service is free. But the attitude of the officers are speaking a different language if you try to follow due process. I'm beyond tired
