Iran just recently demonstrated that Israel's runways wouldn't last a single day when the war starts and any nation that offers airbases to them would watch their bases suffer the same fate. The F-35's Vertical take-off capability is limited and I don't think Israel even has the capable variant.

Iran has a lot of shortcomings as a military power but it has way too much advantage over Israel.
