Who takes over? PDP controlled by Wike and Fayose?

Dankwabo can't be controlled or held hostage by 1000 Wike or Fayose.

Buhari can only continue if PDP should make mistake by nominating that thief called Atiku.

I feel your pain sir. Several, albeit minor (easily rectifiable) mistakes were made by my builder as well. You wonder whether they are blind or something; how difficult can it be to look at the plan in front of you and build as per what is on the plan!!!

The annoying part is the way they act like they know it all. They won't even let you talk before they tell you they know what they are doing.

Something that I just discovered on my site is leading me to make a few recommendations to others.

I would recommend that the Architect who drew your plan be onsite at a few key steps, at the bare minimum.

The entrance to my house and the view into the courtyard are key important feature to me. I worked with Darenyx diligently on creating the plan but my builder has managed to screw it up.

How I’ve missed this over the time saddens me.

I of course have to correct it angry

Pic1 Picture from plan I purchased.

Pic2 Architecture plan.

Pic3 What builder did.

The thing dey pain person. They changed so many things without recourse. A nairaland changed my sun roof to complete covered roof without telling me. This nairalander began the build from inception. In fact he even lied to me he maintained the plan as I wanted it. Only to find out he changed many things. I fired him long time ago. I couldn't even revert back to my original plan. The deed already been done before I knew about the changes he made.

The apartment garage is finished on the inside and will host my family shortly. We don’t want to do the exterior of the garage apartment until the main house is done for logistic reason.

Thanks.

But he was drag racing with a super expensive power bike? That doesn't seem very austere to me. What an irony.

Your white washing job doesn't quite fool me, woman.

Any how, I wish him speedy recovery, his father's sins notwithstanding.

Do you have the picture of this particular bike? Do you have the name, year and model of the bike and share it with us?

I keep hearing opinion as yours from people since the accident happened but none of you has been able to come up with details about the bike. Some of you even said the bike cost 56 million and some said 42 million.

So go ahead and share the pictures and other details of this bike.

Thanks.

Those who voted him were not mad. It was a choice not to allow looters of PDP to continue looting. Why should anyone reward ineptness, outright stealing and Jonathan's incompetence to continue? This country would have been sold off on eBay if Jonathan was still there. The stealing going on under Buhari is child's play when compared to stealing under Jonathan.

Despite the fact that I hate this Buhari istration with ion, it is fair to say he took over when this project was about to stall (Common Nigerian Factor), funded it, completed it and commissioned it.

15% Obasanjo - Good Initiative
30% Yaradua - Renegotiated and set ball rolling
20% Gej - Continued where his boss stopped
35% Buhari - Funded it, monitored it till it was commissioned.

This is one of the major problems with African in general and Nigerian in particular. Why do you have to show a sense of dejection because the picture is of Igbo furniture maker? You should have simply utter the words of encouragement or the picture of Benin (Edo) furniture maker so that Nigerians will rejoice together for the growth. This silly behavior you put up in the above post encourages the call for disintegration of Nigeria.

Absolutely not showing any "sense of dejection". Why should I? I have partners who are igbos that deal with me on hour basis (not daily). They are likely reading this. I'm not that type of person. So you're wrong sir. I have no idea how you arrived at that conclusion. It came out of left field. The idiot I was referring to is the one your response fits perfectly.

You dey for US in Ijebu Ode. Foolish olodo rabata.

Little man you're. You have never disappointed me before because you're predictable. grin

What an irredeemable clown you're. You picked one typo error out of 100 words and started feeling like a macho of English language. If you weren't a fool, you would have known that it was an oversight and the person writing didn't intentionally make any mistake. Wallop (beat) while wallow (delight in , bask in). What is "see grammar na"? Is that a correct sentence? What an idiotic olodo who lives somewhere in the US cleaning and changing diapers. You're so foolish to the extent that cleaning and changing diapers in the US has prevented you from seeing that there are better alternatives to what you saw in your village before you were brought to the US most likely in a fraudulent way.

Open and free your mind so you don't keep wallowing in stupidity and bigotry like you've been doing on daily basis. What an idiotic olodo from Orlu mixing a simple sentence with pidgin English. If you can't write correct sentences in English language, why don't you write your sentences in Igbo language and let me translate it myself? grin

You are sounding foolish. I know the Benin furniture outlets inside Benin city. In contrast to the city/township, there are none in Benin villages of the standard of this one in an Imo village. That is my point.

No one is as foolish and bigotted like you here. Were you not the same foool saying only an easterner treating Buhari son without any proof? Why all your threads are always "only an easterner this or only an easterner that". Your foolishness, bigotry and rascality is glaring to see. You have repeatedly displayed level of your bigotry and hatred for other tribes here. Your vitriol and foolishness know no bound. I won't dignify your idiotic display with a response again.

You can now go ahead and wallop in your stupidity while trying to convince everyone that the best available furniture are made in the east alone. Ode. grin

Dude, you are not the only one in the US. I am too, but able to source and post this. The Benin village furniture makers that you are hyping are they not on the web (e.g. Facebook)?

Because you stumbled on ipobian furniture on Facebook doesn't mean I should go on Facebook or anywhere and search for pictures. I don't have time for that. If you think only in the east is where they make "best furniture", then continue diluding yourself.

I told you I went to school there for almost a year, my family bought furniture there twice and brought to Lagos and my mother worked at court of appeal, Benin city for six years. I have described what I saw live on several occasions and not internet stuff. So I know what I'm talking about.

Nnamdi was completely in love with the paraphernalia of power.
He started dressing more and more like a weirdo.
Funny dude, my guess is that he is chilling right now somewhere far away from ipob and living large on all the money donated by his gullible followers.

Some of you should know that Nnamdi Kanu is no more. Aisha Buhari gave an hint when Buhari was in London that her husband was coming home to "deal with the hyena disturbing the peace". The killing of Nnamdi Kanu was done by soldiers comprising of 100 Fulani military commandos with instruction to kill any living thing inside that compound. I can categorically say here that no man or woman in that compound was still alive when those commandos left Nnamdi Kanu compound. No human being or dog met in that compound was spared of death. Nnamdi Kanu was killed and buried at sea like bin laden. You won't hear those Fulani commandos discuss how they killed every living things they met in that compound. It was a siege on Nnamdi Kanu's compound. There was no escape route out of Nnamdi Kanu house. The house was under surveillance for more than a week and they made sure Kanu was there on that day before those soldiers were brought in. No living thing survived bullet that night.

Nnamdi Kanu is no more with us. All Eastern governors know this.

Are those places rural communities like this one?

They have rural parts likewise city areas. They make the furniture in rural areas and bring them out to the city parts to display them for potential buyers to see.

Don't joke with Benin people when it comes to furniture. They are the best.

Go to Agbor Rd, Benin City or Ikpoba Hill, Benin City. That's the capital of furniture in Nigeria and Africa.

PHOTO CRITIQUE: CHOICE OF COLOURS 2

More neutral painting and decorating. Now compare the last kitchen photo; it's an expensive well built kitchen no doubt but the chequered dark tiles make the kitchen too busy and oppressive. Now imagine you want to colour code the kitchens, so you settle for red appliances like red microwave, red electric kettle and red toaster; the coded colour will be more aesthetically pleasing on the eye in the first kitchen and will be lost in the last kitchen because the last kitchen is just too busy and without coherence. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice kitchen but less presented with the choice of wall tiles.

I like the brightness of the interior but not so impressed overall because of the paint work and few other things. If you look closely, the painting was poor and the ceiling design not good enough. That ceiling design is not something you are going to like seeing after seeing it for the next three years. You get tired of it and it becomes boring. They should have gone for something better. I'm not a fan of using tiles in place of skirting boards. It's very hard in Nigeria to see skirting done with boards. They always go with tiles instead. I don't know why it is so.

The cabinets for the first kitchen were too poor in the sense that they are not the right size when you look at the space from the top of the cabinets to the ceiling level. Just look at the space between the cabinets and the ceiling. Did they convert a gymnasium into a kitchen or what? The kitchen height or head room is ridiculous. The level of the gas cooker is not on same level with the cabinets. The kitchen was poorly done.

No comment on the checkered tiles kitchen.

In all, I rate the finishing 4/10.

. But sir, how high was your tank Stand? if your house is a Bungalow, a high tank stand should do. do a pressure pump attached just makes the pressure better.

Also note! there are Faucets / Mixers that are designed to reduce the pressure of your water. and some people might not be able to tell. They just by any, and at the end of the day Water pressure is attributed to the tank stand height not sufficient enough.

22 feet high. One of the problems is because the faucets are US made. The plumber said they were designed like that to be of low pressure.

PHOTO CRITIQUE: CHOICE OF COLOURS

After we have ensured the structural integrity of our build, the next stage is the aesthetic coherence and personal statement. To ensure the aesthetic finish and presentation, the choice of colours matters a lot. The choice of colours in the final interior and exterior painting and the wall and floor tiles and kitchen units can set the property out. A well thought out choice of colour(s) will present the property really well with an air of sophistication even if the property is poorly built. And even if the property is well designed and built, with a poor choice of finishing colours, the property will not present well.

Now have a look of the attached photos and compare and contrast. The photos are for two properties; the living room and the kitchen. I should think the first property presents better with the light colours of the floor tiles and the wall tiles in the kitchen. But with the second property, one will notice that the black tiles and even the black countertop in the kitchen is absorbing all the light making the property less presented. Also notice that both properties are really well designed and built but they veer off in presentation. The first property is light and airy in contrast to the second property. The dark colour is kind off oppressive.

Sometimes ago Spyder880 asked if it made send to paint his living room with two different choice of colours. The truth is it makes good sense to paint your living room with just ONE light and neutral colour. With just one colour, one can colour code and coordinate the soft furnishing. So you can have a red leather sofa and code the red sofa with the curtains and a red dinning table mat for example. But if you have two colours walls and dark tiles, colour coding the soft furnishing is a tougher challenge.

Color war. They all look uninspiring to me. Mismatch of interior finishing materials.

Thank you my Oga for your response.

I live in the U.S but I never knew those tall structures are water tanks grin grin.

I have a project that God's willing will break ground this 2018 and I am very hesitant on mounting those high water tanks. 47ft above ground shocked I think the Govt should out law them, it looks very dangerous.

I don't like them either. I just did one like few months ago and water pressure was low in one bathroom and kitchen but okay everywhere else. I didn't want the high tank and was going for water pressure pump but my contractor insisted on high water station of 22 feet. At the end, I introduced water pressure pump. The almost 450k water stand turned out to be useless.
