UPDATE on Visa switch within the uk after curtailment
After a year plus in the uk with an unreliable employer that brought us in. No shifts, excuses, pregnancy redundancy etc. sought for cos for over a year and we no see. Decided to back down. Shockingly the employer curtailed our leaved without prior information. Para entered body as we have kids, properties etc. the day the we got the email from home office with 4 attachments of the curtailment letters, I was shocked, couldn't work, lost hope felt like my life has been cut short.
I came back home and told my wife that we MUST get cos within 7days if we apply the same strategy we used when we got from Nigeria. We swung into action, met a solicitor in London, that one too carry more para our existing para say make we use our uk born baby get papers bla bla bla. I went through all the immigration laws, council website, citizen advice and even found out a help on it for displaced carers etc. from same website, it took me to another website that showed licenced health and care employers in the uk only. I had to add some tech skills in my search, applying to every part of uk from England to northern Ireland to Scotland to wales and gracefully I got this employer that is leaving 30 mins walk away from us, listened to our story, had interview and gave offer followed by a cos without a dime. Infact we told the employer we would pay isc after it was assigned, employer no gree I started suspecting the COS sef. All of these happened within 5 days. The employer assigned the cos and kept quiet. After like 3 more days we asked the employer about the way forward and employer said it has been done. We said ah ah, send us the document naaa, boom email entered and it was it. Employer hasn't done it before and we appeared to be the first to be assigned by the company, lots of mistakes including sub category, work duration (1 year then corrected to 3 years) and missing ISC charge. Sponsor note was added and we applied with priority as our 60 days is already counting down. Then emailed isc and business helpdesk including work sponsor team concerning the isc error and the payment ref that was made after the error. They acknowledged the email within 24 and telling us they have returned our application to case work and Within another 24 hours case worker approved it. Its been about 17days from the time of curtailment to successful application. From the time of visa application to approval was just 3 days with priority and id app identity check.
I am happy to share this post.

if you are having a stop over at Istanbul you will not be needing a transit Visa.

I had to cancel the booking going to Antalya to Bristol and book another ticket from Istanbul to London straight.

If I understand you, you are having stop over at instanbul and Antalya. Which means you are transiting to another airport within turkey. You will need transit visa.

If you are only stopping ar instabul … no need for transit visa

Hello. I booked a flight with Turkish Airlines that goes from Ghana (Kotoka international airport) to Antalya Airport there will be a stopover at Istanbul Airport. After reaching Antalya Airport I will be catching another flight from there to Bristol UK with easyJet Airline.

My question is will I need transit visa going from Istanbul to Antalya and will this also apply when I’m taking my flight from Antalya to Bristol UK. (Regardless if I'm arriving or departing from International or Domestic Terminals)

Guys: So I booked a flight from a third party from cotonou to UK to have stop over at Turkey. We were denied boarding saying we need transit visa. Anyway, please how can I go about getting refund? Turkish airline said there is refund but later said no refund because we booked from mytrip.com . The flight is non refundable, but does that really mean all that money has gone? Please help if you have ideas for me

I finally got a BRP mail today around 7am that my application has been successful. The decision letter was dated 10th of August.
Biometrics was done on July 26th( standard)
Though I am yet to receive collection email from TLS and application still at DMC but I guess its because today is Sunday.

Well, the officer didn't ask me much. He just checked my Madam's CoS and offer letter, matched our faces with our ports, asked if our company provided accomodation and we said yes. We tried to be at ease while responding to him. Also if u have kids, let ur kids be in front, they seem to respect and play with smiling kids. In the end, just hold ur documents, know ur company address and pray for a smooth ride.

We are many in this NSF category that are waiting for a decision. May I ask why you think the paid call for NSF for escalation worsen things ? What’s your experience? Has your 15 working days after escalation elapsed? Please share with us

Cos when I made the paid call, they were the ones that said they’re going to escalate these applications. I and my wife (MA ) has gotten ours since July 21 and 28, we did biometrics July 6th in Abuja
