He's also building a world-class hospital.

That man is building everything buildable,
including state-of-the-art smart schools across all the wards in the state.

The smart schools are not anything smart—at least not yet. The construction quality of the one I’ve seen is so poor that I’d be surprised if it survives beyond his time in office. There’s clearly no proper quality guidelines or checks in place.

That said, he is definitely an improvement on the man he replaced, and he seems to have some good ideas. But what happens after he’s done building? Will there be proper management to ensure these projects actually serve the people long-term?

I’m particularly interested in his farm estate plan. If he sees that through, it could be far more impactful than a fancy hotel or these so-called smart schools.

Apart from rice, which Plants will work in a swampy area in Raining Season.
Something one can cultivate and harvest twice

Crops that thrive in swampy areas during the rainy season and can be harvested twice a year include:

1. Ugu (Fluted Pumpkin - Telfairia occidentalis) – Grows well in waterlogged areas and can be harvested multiple times by plucking the leaves.

2. Cocoyam (Colocasia esculenta/Xanthosoma sagittifolium) – Prefers wet conditions and matures in 5-7 months, with early varieties allowing for two harvests.

3. Waterleaf (Talinum triangulare) – Grows rapidly in swampy areas and can be harvested multiple times.

4. Sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum) – Thrives in waterlogged soils and can be harvested twice yearly if well managed.

5. Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus) – Certain varieties do well in wet conditions and can produce continuously for months.

6. Banana/Plantain (Musa spp.) – Not seasonal, but suckers keep producing after the main harvest.

This condition is called pica, a disorder where people crave and eat non-food items. Eating tissue paper can cause digestive issues, constipation, intestinal blockage, and exposure to harmful chemicals. It may also be linked to nutrient deficiencies (like iron or zinc) or mental health conditions like stress or OCD. She should see a doctor to check for deficiencies and a psychologist if it's a compulsive habit. A balanced diet might help reduce cravings.

Q:
What are naphtha and fuel oil, and why would a refinery in Nigeria ship those to Asia and the United States of America respectively when the citizens of Nigeria were promised the refinery will flood the local market with petrol and drive down the cost?

Chatgpt:
Naphtha is a liquid hydrocarbon mixture obtained from petroleum refining, commonly used as a feedstock for petrochemical plants or as a fuel. Fuel oil, on the other hand, is a fraction obtained from petroleum distillation that is used primarily as fuel for power generation or heating.

In the case you mentioned, if a refinery in Nigeria is shipping naphtha to Asia and fuel oil to the United States instead of producing petrol for the local market as promised, it could be due to several factors:

1. Market demand: The demand for naphtha and fuel oil in Asia and the United States might be higher than the demand for petrol in Nigeria. Refineries often prioritize producing products that yield higher profits or have greater demand in international markets.

2. Economic incentives: Exporting naphtha and fuel oil to international markets might be more profitable for the refinery compared to selling petrol domestically. This could be due to higher prices or better trade agreements in those regions.

3. Infrastructure limitations: The refinery might lack the infrastructure or technology required to efficiently produce petrol, leading to a focus on producing other products that are easier to refine and export.

4. Government policies: There could be government regulations or policies affecting the refinery's operations, such as export quotas or tax incentives for exporting certain products.

Overall, the decision to export naphtha and fuel oil instead of producing petrol for the local market could be influenced by a combination of economic, market, and regulatory factors.

I'm sure there is more to this story; even a shrink can't do anything with only this snippet.

We do not know if you work in addition to taking care of the kids; how often your husband comes home, how long he stays and if he is usually too tired or busy to help out. Regardless, no matter what measurements we use to test how hard you both are working in providing for and taking care of the home the fact remains that you might both feel you are each doing more than the other. In which case you'd both need to seek professional help together.

I know how difficult it is to care for children, alone, so I can understand how you must have felt, and who knows you might also be working or have worked or would want to (like I said, there is not enough data to run any useful analysis). I also know that working too much to provide for others is not something to sneeze at.

There is also what you both think of the roles of men and women. You might need to redefine them. In the end you need to find a way to talk with your husband. Judging from how comfortable you both are with not talking for months I'd say you both have major issues that could ruin this marriage.

Seek professional help: talk to a shrink together.

This is deep. Nigeria's problem is bigger than Endsars. We need God to intervene

It is not God or any other divinity that Nigeria needs to change. What Nigeria needs is for the citizens to start using their brain for rational thoughts.

EndSARS should evolve to RestructureNow
The points raised in the original post further give credence to the Restructure argument. It is not only the government that needs restructuring in Nigeria, every other institution in the country needs to be restructured to be functional. If there are functional institutions (institutions structured to serve the purposes they are created and made to operate in ways that discourage corruption) Nigeria can truly begin to heal.

Supposing this was a real life situation, I would say the woman should have divorced the man by now. He'd only be pulling her down, a liability. 2008 - 2016 is a long time for him to be asking such question, he should be gone already.

But seriously, what every relationship and union need is respect and understanding and not blind worship and fixed roles. They should employ help and since the woman can travel countries I want to believe they are not poor. So they should be able to buy washing machine; it's cheap, even students buy it.
And if this man is not working, he should employ himself as the help. That way they save money; but that poor boy, girl, man or woman that would have been singing joyfully for this job would swear for him if they knew he is robbing them of the means to fuel their generator.

Lol I don't buy the 'equality' thing because everyone has his own interpretation.For me i will rather talk about flexibility or rather flexible fairness.

Partners should contribute to their shared life in different ways and in different degrees and over time the balance fluctuates.

There are two things involve here; trusting that your partner is doing all he or she can, and making sure that you are doing all that you can.It is as simple as that.

Your home will know only happiness. This is the attitude that wins the race.

This is not news. Vanguard should send this reporter back to school. Enugu never voted for him and even if the whole South-East tells him to go and die it still is not strong enough.

When Kano or Katsina rejects him then there is news; afterall, one of those two states can comfortably render the South-East's vote impotent.

There is no excuse for this level of suffering in the country though; but of course, the nation can only wait and wail. After all, anyone that believed giving unemployed youth 5,000 naira every month and making a dollar exchange for 1naira is not only possible but also good for the nation does not in anyway deserve pity; such persons are either ignorant, naive and visionless or they simply want nothing from life.

Could you categorize the two separately under core i5 and i7 with the available memory size and prices. It is easier that way, some of us don't like asking these questions on whatsapp or through phone calls when you can simply provide a clearer description of what you sell here. Thank you.

From the description of this car, I'd say it's not worth investing time in. It's a ruin. Just because it still drives means very little in the grand scheme of things. I would sell it for parts. I could understand if it was a rare car, but a Peugeot 406 with a 4 cylinder engine, that's been beat on? Nigeria is full of better cars, there are clean Prestige models.

You're flogging a dead horse here.

You are right, he will even prefer the v6 variant so I will look into finding one when I can, thanks.

I really see you don't hear. I use a Peugeot 406 thats why I am telling you not waste your hard earned money FIXING an accidented car.

Reason - There are other hidden damages you might not discover now until you start working on it now. If you have money sell this and buy a new car for your Dad.

Do you know how much a clean Nigeria used prestige goes for With 500k You can own one!

Thanks, I have already resolved to forget about this and move on to something else.

GAZZUZZ:

leave that for the new owner.
Before you embark on a major project on a car, do this small eveluation.

1. Cost of car in present state.
2. Cost of car after repairs
3. Cost of a Nigerian used equivalent
4. Cost of Toks
5. Cost of the repairs.

You talked about a paint job, some beaing, wiring, and fluids.

Paint job would cost between 65-70k
beating or properly done a new bonnet+beating 10k for bonnet (old dollar price) beating 5-10k

Wiring: that's a world on its own, cannot give you a price for that. You might need a new harness if it is really bad. Also need to scan after you are done to see what other accessories require replacement.
Thanks for your input, I will re-evaluate and make my decision.
Emrich(m): 10:56am On Feb 13, 2016
@mjbaba, king406 and ruby360 I totally understand your points but if there's any chance that this car could still function well I will like to explore it.
I still plan to buy either v6 406 or 607 but that will likely be early next year.

For now, however, this particular 406 moves, I believe it's just wrong wiring and connections that make it suffer constant breakdown and instead of selling it off to someone that will probably kill it, I want to try, to redo the connections. If after this it still fails then it will have to go. But I don't see why a car that has its mechanics restored to factory default should not function like new.

Plus redoing connections, using the right fluids, and proper maintenance servicing can't possibly be as costly as buying another one.

pics of the car, include pics of the engine bay and areas that need work.

Sorry the car is with my parents and I won't be visiting them any time soon. However, other than wiring it to get all the electrical working, it needs a new dashboard (for the airbag, the old one has patches) and the beating work is just to align the bonnet well so it can close without leaving any gaps.
Then the thermostat and the fan

save your self, sell this car as it is, add a little money and buy another peugeot.
I was actually inspired to do this after watching and reading your thread "Remotely Follow Your Vehicle Repairs Online" and quite frankly I will prefer a v6 variant of the car. So selling seems like the better option; but if I were to pursue this plan, could you give me an estimate for it? Thank you.

I intend to restore a D9 406 back to its glorious form but I have no idea where to start or how much it could cost me.
Car History
The car belongs to my dad. He got it around 2004 and in 2007 it was involved in a ghastly motor accident. He took it to a cheap auto workshop where it was repaired to a driveable state. The problems, as I perceive them, include:
1. The engine oil, transmission oil and just about every other fluid the mechanic uses in it are not the recommended and before now we have all given no attention to it;
2. I’m not sure but I believe there is no thermostat in the car now and the mechanic must have byed the fan factory setting because it sometimes overheats and the ac rarely ever works;
3. Because of 1 and 2, and some other failed sensors or things that I might not know, he has had to replace the engine twice;
4. The airbags were not replaced;
5. The wiring is a little messed up now—the windows don’t wind up and down when you want them to and the audio system don’t function properly.
Proposed Work
I know he loves the car so I hope the car can be restored. His mechanic has recently worked on it but before it breaks down again I want to:
1. beat it to shape and repaint;
2. Change all the fluids with the recommended ones;
3. Return the wiring to default and get all the electrical working;
4. Install CD disk changer in the boot;
5. Install airbags;
6. Interior detailing to make it look new again;
7. Restore thermostat, fan functioning and get the cooling system to optimal performance;
8. Scan and fix all errors;
9. Etcetera—Please suggest more.
I am hoping someone here can guide me on the possible cost for this and perhaps suggest the perfect mechanic for it. I am in Enugu state and quite frankly, I am not calling people on phone already because I fear the cost of a project like this will be much. So please, someone should help my mind rest in peace.

Emma chances are that they both won't be your friends when you start working and building your own family.

Let me see if I have the right info...
1. He was your friend before the girl
2. Because of 1, your loyalty leans towards the guy
3. You care for both of them
4. You know he takes care of her women
5. You know also that his love has expiring date...

Well, advise him to break up properly with the girl and find another woman, explaining to him that you can't date your friend and roommate's ex. You can tell him that in future if you are both still interested it can then happen.

I want you to understand however that dating should not be seen only as a prerequisite to marriage. The guy and the girl can both be wonderful people and when paired with the right person will make wonderful couples. In essence, what they are doing now don't make them terrible people, it means they have refused to understand themselves and are not patient to learn yet. So they need to move on. What I am trying to say is that your story with him if you choose to date him will not be the same with the other. And if it ends bad, such is life, afterall, you will hardly end up marrying your college sweetheart.

However, the best thing is to help them move on if you still want to hang on to the relationship you have with the both a little longer or if you don't want some girl thinking bad of you. This way you create and maintain a good personality (for yourself).

I need help guys

I bought an unlocked tmobile Q10 (SQN100-5) with os 10.3.0.1418
The problem is that it keeps telling me it's the latest os version available; this is even when I remove my sim card and search with wifi.
Advise me guys: what's the latest version for my model and other than BlackBerry Link, how do I get the official update?
Thanks.

Modified
I just installed BlackBerry Link and searched for software update. Unfortunately, it's telling me that I have the latest. But 10.3.0.1418 cannot be the latest. What should I do?
