please I am confused about something, since you can use it while charging, what will happen to your power station when you forget to remove the charger from socket when the power station is currently in use? I.e the power station supply the electricity to the socket that is charging the ecoflow. Will it spoil it immediately??
This is for those using solar to charge it.
You can't be using nepa to charge the D2 and be using the D2 to power the house at the same time.

Is this cable okay for the Delta 2 bosses.
This one is quite expensive, there are other sellers with better price.
Check oladele239 posts for link to buy.

Check the cable connection to the unit and the wall. Do you hear a clicking sound?
It's charging now, I discovered the voltage supply was low as at when the light came last night, it's much higher during the early morning, I will have to get a stabilizer for charging it.

Finally there's light, plug it but it's not charging, could there be something I'm missing?

Both are okay to charge it. Just that with the grid, you can fast-charge it within 56 mins (not recommended to use this every time). Max input for solar is 500 watts.

Also, it is normal for that 29%. That is the battery percentage for out-of-the-box and if you want to keep the Delta 2 in storage for a long time so that the battery doesn't go dead.
Ok, thanks for your input, also can I charge directly with nepa, or I use a voltage protector (binatone avp-3000)
Emoreni(m): 8:58pm On Mar 13
Just got Delta 2 today, I haven't been able to charge it with nepa but when I put it on it was 29%.
Please is It supposed to be so? Which is better to charge with nepa or solar

My 20FT 12AWG MC4 to XT60 cable was delivered by Temu yesterday. It took about 9 days since I ordered for it.

Pls, I want to order for 550 watts solar from Fouani, will they deliver it to my doorstep?
So you didn't buy extension cable, your solar s must be close to the power station.

Good one bro that you're making a move to be free from national grid wahala lol
You have a great list up there I must say , for the power station that you intend to get you must first try to ascertain your power needs. That will determine if you should go for D2 or higher one.

For the awg , you 10awg or 12awg. The lower the number of awg the better.

To install the solar , it's better you call on a technician to help you. That was what I did. They will help you better secure it up there and they also know better angles to put it. You can DIY if it's convenient.

I can't wait to be free from nepa wahala grin
I think D2 will suffice for now,Thanks for the guide.

As for the awg is ok to buy from Temu?
What length should I go with to be on the safe side?

Others will respond to where I didn't give enough clarity.

3. 12 AWG below...If you can get 10 AWG, it is good enough. The thicker, the better.

As for mounting the solar, it must be bolted since you live upstairs. You have to get a professional installer. Height is not easy. Even me who did my own bungalow sef knows that height is not fun.
Thanks for your input.
Please how does the EPS/UPS system work?
Emoreni(m): 2:06pm On Feb 24
Just for clarity: Team DIY solar
The list for the setup from what I gathered from here includes
1. Delta 2 or higher grade
2. Jinko solar 555W or higher
3. Mc4 to xt60 connector (what thickness is recommended?)
4. Surge protector/ controller ( in case of lightening)
Are these all that is needed for the solar setup?
And how to mount the solar is my worry cos it's a rented apartment, I live upstairs, and also in the event of heavy wind hope it won't get blown off.

Please suggestions and corrections will be appreciated.

The mc4 to xt60 is the cable with which you charge your Ecoflow portable power station through DC (solar s), xt60 plugs into the back of your Ecoflow power station and the mc4 part connects to the solar (s).
Thanks, really appreciate your response.

If that is what you want, but you can go above that for the sake of less-efficient days. Just ensure that the is not above the recommended amps and voltage for the d2.
Ok, thanks for clarification.

To think that I sold a D2 late last year only to buy D2 again same late last year is laughable.incurred about a 100k loss but we meuveeee.

I realized its not about buying a bigger power box but managing my energy consumption and applying wisdom.

My setup is taking shape.
D2 was picked up at Jumia pickup station in ABC Adeniyi Jones. ( D2 is now close to 2m on Jumia , this is due to demand I guess )

15m 10awg extension cable ordered and delivered by Jumia ( bought at 61k , it came with mc4 connectors already fixed in , it was a great bargain for me because I did an extensive market survey before buying) plus cable quality is topnotch.

545 watts original Eastman solar from device pro , they actually had jinko but I wanted Eastman for no specific reason though.

The only thing stopping me now is the mc4 to xt60 connector , it was ordered on Temu on the 29th of December. ( 12awg)

Will keep you guys posted.
I must appreciate @Twosquare for his updates which has gingered me to replicate.

Thanks to all other contributors as well.

Please what's the role of the mc4 to xt60 connector and how do you install it?

Yes, it is something you can set up for yourself. That is why it is called 'plug and play'.

Anyway, getting a solar is essential, and if you have read through all the thread, you will notice that there is one solar that is of constant mention: Jinko Solar 555 watts. Also, note that the maximum input from solar that the D2 can receive is 500 watts.

You can also get it on Fouani...https://fouanistore.com/ng/en/product/jinko-555w-monofacial-solar- It is currently out of stock. You can go for other power ratings.

Please, read though the thread, you will get it...especially my posts about my setup. Thanks.
So is still advisable to get jinko 555W for D2?
