I recently ended a 4 years relationship that could have led to marriage because of this same reason. I straight asked her to cut off communications with this particular guy, she agreed to, but she never did. Even though there is no evidence of her cheating yet, but like a poster said above, there is something called emotional cheating and she still talking with the guy was a slap on my ego, it was a disrespect I couldn't take. He is somehow right in the skill aspect, I will advise you to learn an IT skill before coming to the States.

I did so and it's paying off. After my NYSC, just a few months before my priority date became current for the US NVC to schedule my interview with the embassy, I learned web design and development, and it helped me a lot when I came to the States.

Lots of companies in Vermont and Connecticut need web designers, just google it and you will see for yourself.


Never allow anyone to discourage you, learn these skills, and you can even get a job with a company that will be willing to petition for you to come over.

Hello all. I'm a 25year old unemployed graduate. I finished my NYSC last year and i was able to save less than 50k. After spending 6months without any forthcoming job, I've used about 20k out of the money and all I'm left with in this life is 30k. I was introduced to a solar installation class during Nysc and i decided to give it a try.

The registration is about 21k plus transport to the venue will cost me about 30k for the 6months. I was told there would be a certificate after the training, but I'm still a bit skeptical about the course because i don't know how lucrative the skill is, because i once read a nairaland post on how a guy bought his s and fixed it himself after going through the manuals.

So my question now is, should i invest my life savings on this course? Is it lucrative? Will the certificate matter at all? Can i build a career from it?

This may look or sounds unreal but it's definitely the truth.

Since e-hailing didn't go as planned, I resorted to searching for job which I was invited for several interviews the past few weeks.

During the weekend, I got mails and calls that two of the places I applied for were successful and I was to resume training today(Monday)

First job: call center agent for a loan agency, the renumeration is 50k per month, daily rechard card and weekly bonus (if target were met) location is ikeja

Second job: Loan/field officer for a microfinance organisation, renumeration is 70k per month, weekly transport allowance, accommodation, HMO. Location is gbagada

I currently sleep at a church around ojodu berger, though my dad built a house where I was living before but I had to leave because there wasn't any progress while living there, story for another day.

So, I chose the second offer due to the accommodation involved, so I dressed up for work waking up without shishi on me. I tried selling my phone to raise funds but was unsuccessful, I also reached out to few well wishers to raise funds but also unsuccessfully, so I spoke with my legs to do the job.

Though I woke up very early as 5:30 so as to meet up with time. I began my journey and as God will have it, I got there around 8.30 or so, they hr acknowledged my presence not even knowing how I got there, lol😂

I sat for two hours but I was just hearing "we are coming" from hr.

When it was 10 after, one of the hr reached out to me and said unfortunately they won't commenced with the training with just me, reason was because we were many scheduled for the training but I was the only one who showed up.

So the hr pleaded I should go back home that another date will be sent across to me.
Omo I felt like the ground should open and swallow all of us in that building at that moment, because wtf?
Bruh, I trekked from ojodu berger to gbagada ooo.

In my mind, no be una fault sha. I just stood dust my shoes again and spoke to my legs again, we are going for another walk bruh.

Did I mention the other company were calling me to know if I will still be coming but I had to send them a message that I got another offer😭

Hello everyone, i need your advise about a step I’m about to take

I’m a university graduate from one of the top Federal Universities in the country, my field of study is related to agriculture and since I finished school about 6 years ago all the jobs I’ve been getting isn’t really paying enough, they are mostly farm jobs paying 30-35k at most, I’ve considered setting up myself but tbh I have no back bone and it isn’t easy.

I’m 28 and I’ll be 29 this year then I decided I’ll really need to learn a skill if I want to be relevant in the society because sooner or later I’ll start considering settling down and all.

I tried learning tech stuffs but I have to be honest to myself I’m not a tech person, I try forcing it but no be my way, it’s better to be honest with myself, I’m not the kind of person that likes sitting down staring at screens for long even my phone.

I’m a natural handy person, that’s one of the things made me go to that field of study in school(Agriculture), I learnt a bit aspect of the tech which I enjoy to an extent that is drone piloting but I don’t think that is something I should sit with.

So I’m thinking of learning an handy skill which is why I need your advise, I’m ionate about painting, infact I’m good with it and it’s all self thought but I’l don’t want to go into it full time because I’m scared of height, so I’m considering learning POP and house interior which I’ve taken a step to start learning. I

nfact I have the money to pay and I’ve gotten someone to start teaching me already, why I opt for POP is I like the job and it’s an handy work plus Real estate is booming so skill related to real estate should be a hot cake at the moment.

I’m going in full time to learn and im ready for the adventure, because to be honest with ourselves if I keep saying I will land a good paying job due to my certificate and All,.
