You didn't indicate if yours has dual climate control settings.
While changing the expansion valves, did you check the switching valves to know if its stuck in one position?
It does not have dual zone climate control. I was telling the technician that the one removed has no difference with the one they brought with the method they are using (blowing into it to check for restrictions) but they said they'll change it and i just let them and it didn't get better.

Good evening to all the ogas in the house. Please wo can help on what to do on a 2006 toyota sienna AC that cools chills on the 2 engervents but blows normal air on the driverside vents and the back? Compressors have been changed, expansion valves for both the front and back has been changed also to no avail. Don't know what else to do as the system keeps draining money.

I've tried this before coming here with the matter boss, it's not working. The connection flashes for 10 seconds and nothing. The instruction is in both the inverter and CC manual and they didn'tsay what to do if not successful.

Hello guys and good evening. Pleasei just installed my felicity CC and i'm having trouble connecting it to the inverter. I'm using a normal network cable and I've tried both the RS-232 and the RS-485 port on the inverter but it just flashes for 10 seconds and goes off. Please how can i go about this as i dont want to overcharge this battery if both AC and is available?
Inverter is IVPS3524
Charge controller is SCCM8048

Thanks
Anybody please?

boss installer na, pay small money before you waste money.

Inverter is IVPS3524 = 24V

Charge controller is SCCM8048 = 48V

It was installer that did it oh. I never reach to mount myself grin grin grin. The installer did not know about the feature. When it was installed,
the CC auto detected it was a 24V system and to avoid stories that touches, i changed it to 24V myself on the CC settings.

Very difficult to diagnose solar generation issues without significant information about the system, notes of things can go wrong. Here are the information you should provide.

* What type of battery are they connected to. e.g Tubular or AGM, if possible provide the name or picture.

How are the s connected, e.g 2 In series (4 in series would damage the inverter solar charger because it would be more than the maximum PV input of the inverter which is at 145v.

* What is the make of the , do you have the specification sheet (usually the label at the back) where did he get the s from.

*
What is the distance between the roof
(assuming the s are installed on the roof) and the inverter e.g if the house is an "upstairs" is the inverter installed on the ground floor? this helps to gauge distance. And if possible what type of wiring was done between inverter and solar . If you don't know a picture might help.

My preliminary assessment based on what you provided and some assumptions of mine.

I am assuming the s are connected 2 in series. If this is the case, the total voltage of the assuming VMP is 35v might not be sufficient to charge a 48v battery system when you factor in losses. A 48v battery (assuming tubular) needs at least 57.6v to properly charge. This means the solar of 70v would struggle to charge such a battery system when you calculate wiring and heat related losses, in fact they won't much much room for MPPT to happen and this might for the low charge you are seeing.

If my assumptions are correct and assuming the right wire size is used, then you friend would be best served switching to a 3 in series configuration. This would make 2 extra s redundant. He can stick to using 6 s in a 3S2P (3 in series, 2 parallel) configuration or buy an extra 400w and set them to a 3S3S 3 in series, 3 parallel configuration.

*They are connected to (4) 12v 220AH flooded batteries. (1st pics)

*I don't have the connection configuration yet but I'll revert when i have that info.

*s were procured from lagos and i have a screenshot of the label (though not very clear). It was Canadian solar and on the label it was 400w. I'll send a clearer pics too when i get one. (2nd pics is the meter reading of when they were being tested while the 3rd pics is the sticker.)

*House is not upstair and i posted a pics on a previous reply above sir on how the house looks like.

I'll attach a picture of the inverter when we captured
what the inverter said it was getting from the . Maybe you can get any new info. Charge controller is saying it is getting 63V from the s around 4pm.(4th pics)

E should not add any . Best is for him to bring those s down n test them one after d other.. something is wrong somewhere. It's either the s orientation is poor or some of d s are bad or cable problem.
We will find out on cable size and specifications used and communicate. The orientation was not so bad as it was installed on an flat roof. I'll try a pics for further clarification.
P.S The sun rises from the other end of the roof and sets on the side of the roof where the s are.

He should be getting at least 2.6kw during peak periods.

Try to charge with Solar only, also check maximum solar charge current if it's set to maximum of 80A.
Whats the PV configuration, it looks like 2s4p, if we can see the spec sheet of the , it will help determine if he can do 3s or 4s Instead, your friends version can only take max VOC of 145V as stated on inverter.
Also Orientation maybe an issue.

Thanks bro. We don't really know the configuration in which the s are connected but what i will say is get back to you as soon as we get hold of the installer that mounted the s for us.We will also do what you advised and get back to you on that. Thanks for your help.

Hello guys. Please i have an issuei need your expertiseon. My friend have a 5kva 48v felicity hybrid inverter with 8 400w . The problem he is encountering is that most times, the s does not fully charge on a well sunny day as the maximum he ever got was 800w showing with not too serious usage . He is of the opinion adding more s which I told him to hold on for now. On the spec sheet of his inverter, i saw max solar voltage to be 145V and i saw an 'off grid' hybrid 5kva felicity inverter with 500V max solar voltage.
(Don't know if they are different). Please guys what can be done?
The last pics was the off geid inverter i saw

For the battery, it's better you purchase 200ah (200ah * 25.6v = 5120W) Lifepo4 from @Valto.

With coupled LFP you are sure of getting real capacity.

@Valto such question is partly the reason I said it's always good to post price of any products posted . Some prospective clients might have some questions but don't even know how to ask.

Valto is the only one I know who couples LFP, but others can equally post their prices if they couples as valto does.

For a load of 1100W I believe 5kva is too much as the idle consumption will take much from your battery. You are better with 2.5kva - Max 3kva.

I am even considering running equivalent or a little less load on 1.6kva inverter.
Thanks boss.

Felicity is not bad if you have the budget you may do growatt but 5kw is too much, you can do 2 to 3kw
Thanks boss.
That means i have to do a 3/3.5kva inverter too right?

Good morning guys. Great job youre doing here and thanks for all your efforts. I read almost everything here(though I don't understand all).
Please i want to ask, is felicity a good brand as i'm considering buying a 5kw lithium ion and a 5kva inverter of felicity soon. Is there another better alternative to felicity around the same price range?
And i don't know if i can get any advice if those 5kw and 5kva are too much because what i mostly want is my game console and tv with fridge and a couple perimeter lights to run for cumulative of say 6hrs. Those total load is like 1100w thoughit is only 600w (tv and game) that will take the bulk time. Lights are only on at night and fridge only during the day.
Is hybrid inverter better or shouldi go for inverter and charge controller separately?
Thanks for your anticipated response.
PS: We do have PHCN for around 6hr/day

Nothing much to worry about.

It's a good SUV.

It's now becoming very popular.

Go ahead if you see a good one.

However, make sure you know the maintenance history for the timing belt.

Do a vincheck to know when last it was changed and the current mileage.

If it has not been changed (usually changed every 105k miles or every 7 years whichever comes first), then budget to change it with genuine belt after purchase.

The engine will be destroyed if that timing belt quits while you are driving.

Other than that, fire down.

He, one last thing.
The fuel consumption is not like Corolla oo.

So don't ever except to see anything above 18mpg on the highway or 14mpg in the city.

If you reside in lagos, expect 10mpg. grin
Noted and thanks.
P.S I hate corolla and the percieved low fuel consumption thingy. Some people's corolla are in so bad a shape that it competes with FX35 fuel consumption grin grin grin

Others have done justice to your .....(I really don't have a word for it.

This will be my last response.
At 2700 rpm on a similar car with the same engine that you have in the zdx, I am already doing 130 to 140km/hr on a flat road.

I keep up with traffic easily at 3000 rpm and usually do not need to get to that to overtake.

My gear-changes when I am driving sanely occur at 2200 rpm on a flat road and at 2500 on slight inclines.

It is up to you to either grenade this engine, burn out your catalysts or keep this car on the road for the next few years.

See ya.
Boss, please give me a few pointers on the MDX usage. I'm currently torn between choices because of our insane clearing charges and dealers greediness. The MDX is now the only choiceon my radar as all sedans i have in mind are a no-no for my terrain. I'll appreciate any good advice from a current .

First model 1998-2002

Used Parts are all becoming scarce (the car don de finish)

The 2004-2006 with the 3mz is the current transport champion on Nigerian roads, same engine and transmission as the ES330 (flip to page to to read) sturdy suspension, abused day and night and it peforms.

The 2006-2010 with the 2gr-fe engine, not loved by the transporters as it apparently consumes more fuel, and it requires an engine drop for any major engine job.

2011-date. Those ba3tards built nonsense, the car just long like limo with horrible ground clearance, it did not receive same welcome as it's predecessor, it also has a ₦1m transmission if you do any how. It's the real definition of big for nothing .

This is almost vawulence sir. grin grin grin

I have a battery and a 1.1kv inverter for just my security lighting and i want to 4 batteries(220AH) lead acid batteries soon. Can i use a 24V 3.5Kw inverter with those 4 batteries or should it be 48V inverter? And what about the charge controller? Will 60A CC suffice?

Hello guys. Please i need some enlightening. I always fancy having a solar setup and i recently bought one from a friend leaving the country.
The setup comprise:
1 200AH Hausstrom tubular battery
1.1KVA inverter Hausstrom glow energy
A 330w (s)
And a charge controller (don't know the rating).

I'll like to upgrade this setup and add additional 2-3 batteries and i saw a Hausstrom hybrid inverter online.
What i want to ask is if this hybrid inverter is good and has no major flaw and if a 3.2kva one is enough to serve my needs.
My major consumption will be:-
1. I want my fridge rated 130W (1.2kwh/24h) always on.
2. 145W TV average of 6hrs in a day
3. 350W PS5 average of 5hrs in a day
4. Misc accessories of say 100w for like 3hrs in a day.
If what i want is not good enough, what other alternatives should i look at?
