The stay home order for all civil servants from Grade Level 14 and below has been extended until January 18, 2021 by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State.

Recall that, in the light of news of a potential second wave of the deadly virus that has infected over 89,000 people in the country, the governor who contracted the virus late last year declared a two-week stay home order for civil servants in the aforementioned categories as of December 21, 2020.

Sanwo-Olu, having recovered from the virus about a week ago, exempted vital duty workers and first responders from the stay home order in a statement signed by the Lagos State Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola.
