The killings were suspected to be reprisals by gunmen who crossed over from Benue State. Although security agencies have stepped up investigation, the Fulani leader of Adayi area of Loko, Mallam Bideri Ahmadu, alleged that suspected Agatu gunmen from Benue State might be behind the killings. The traditional ruler of Loko, Alhaji Abubakar Ahmed Sabo, alleged that Agatu youths might have perpetratedthe act.The Fulani community leader, Mallam Bideri Ahmadu, who addressed reporters in Loko, alleged that Agatu youths crossed over from Benue State about 10:30am last Saturday. He said the suspects had wanted to “rustle the cows in their boats across River Benue, but the cattle went berserk because of sporadic shootings. Upon realising they could not achieve their aim, the Agatu youth opened fire on the cows, killing 83. The injured ones are in the bush.” The Mai Loko, Alhaji AbubakarAhmed Sabo, said in the last few weeks, over 20 men, women and children were killed during attacks onFulani people by Agatu youths from Benue State. Sabo urged the Fulani not to retaliate because the government was looking into the crisis. The Director of Personnel Management (DPM) of the development area, Danlami Umar, said the “fishing community has suffered a setback because the riverine area has been taken over by Agatu youths, who kill at will. if I talk now, "they" will ban me. but Bleep "them". Nigeria is a zoological department xterised with barbaric and animalistic behaviour. When my brother called dis fake entity zoo, he was jailed and being prosecuted for revealing the revelation. Now what is happening? See, let us tell our self the gospel truth, there is nothing like one Nigeria, the earlier we divide this fake entity, the better for all of us. Or beta still, go back to that round table and renegotiate our "business " which is regional government. All man to his tent, we will now see how those northern cows will tres. silently waiting for my ban 6 Likes |

NIGERIA: A Country with different constitution for different people. Nigeria like every other sovereign nation has a constitution which is supposed to govern every citizen of the country. Like every other country, Nigerians are expected to respect the constitution of the "federal" republic of Nigeria irrespective of their tribe or religion. Unfortunately, in Nigeria the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria is meant for only a particular tribe and religion while a different law governs the other tribe and religion. What the Nigerian constitution s in other parts of Nigeria it is helpless in ing in the other. The Nigerian constitution sees a 13 year old girl as a minor who is not allowed to enter into any marital agreement in the southern part of Nigeria but in the northern part of Nigeria the Sharia law over-rides the constitution. The issue of under aged marriage in Northern Nigeria is not new as many political and religious leaders in the north have boldly married girls below the constitutional age of 18 and have boldly kicked against any move to introduce stiffer punishment for paedophiles and sexual predators. They even say it openly that Sharia law permits the marriage between a minor and a grandfather and any move to use the constitution to change that is against the north and sharia law. Most governors, senators and emirs from the north have either married a minor from within or outside Nigeria. Don't ask me their names because you know them! The constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria allows the government to generate revenue from companies through the collection of value added tax and all the 36 states of the federation including the states in the northern parts of the country shares from these moneys generated from these companies including the alcohol manufacturing companies. The constitution permits the manufacturing of alcohol in Nigeria but the Sharia law forbids same in northern Nigeria. The money generated from alcohol manufacturing companies from areas where it is allowed (South) is shared among the states and federal governments including the northern states. No state government in the south has the right in the constitution to destroy alcoholic products as doing so will attract legal suits against such state government but in the north, the Sharia law over-rides the constitution as state governments in the north can through its hisbah destroy same alcohol which generated the same revenue they shared together with others states. If a Nigerian from the southern part of the country is transporting goods from the southern part of the country to the north,he/she undergoes series of checks along the roads across the nation and pays different amount of money to different state revenue agencies but the movement of cows from the northern part of Nigeria to the south does not attract such checks or payment of taxes. It is obvious that the north does not want these anomalies changed hence, they kick against any move to introduce true fiscal federalism because they know the Sharia law will not allow their economies to grow. Imagine the north without revenue from alcohol producing companies and oil....... I have respect for other peoples religious beliefs and can not in anyway disrespect their religion but in a country where other peoples religion and cultural beliefs are not respected calls for worry . It also calls to question the unity in diversity which is always preached by many which i see as deceit by the elites who benefit from the fraud called Nigeria. In all ramifications,Nigeria is not meant to be one country and can never be as it has never been. So if you believe that Nigeria is structured to be one country with equal right and justice, then you have a problem. The earlier this country divides back to what it was before the Lugard creation of Niger royal company which gave birth to the present day Nigeria the better for us because the unification was done for economic reasons rather than political—Northern Nigeria Protectorate had a budget deficit; and the colonial istration sought to use the budget surpluses in Southern Nigeria to offset this deficit and it had remained like that till date. For those of you who are not students of history and will be the first to shout "ONE NIGERIA" whenever the flaws in this fake contraption is exposed, hear this! The process of unification of the northern and southern protectorate before 1914 was undermined by the persistence of different regional perspectives on governance between the Northern and Southern Provinces, and by Nigerian nationalists in Lagos. While southern colonial s welcomed amalgamation as an opportunity for imperial expansion, their counterparts in the Northern Province believed that it was injurious to the interests of the areas they istered because of their relative backwardness and that it was their duty to resist the advance of southern influences and culture into the north. Southerners, on their part, were not eager to embrace the extension of legislation originally meant for the north to the south. So, where is the oneness in Nigeria since creation? Have you seen why Nnamdi Kanu as a student of Economics and Contemporary History hates the contraption called Nigeria with ion and has always exposed the wickedness of the gambaris and their British collaborators? Have you seen why Nnamdi Kanu won the hearts of both the educated and illiterates? Have you seen why the agitation for the division of Nigeria will never stop untill it is actualized? MAY GOD OPEN YOUR EYES TO THE TRUTH!

Today being 18th of November, the leader of indigenous people of Biafra will be presented before the magistrate court in Abuja on yet to be known charges. Questions will trickle in as to what will be the fate of Nnamdi Kanu hence Nigerian court is judging a man perceived to be an enemy to them. Has Nigeria the moral right to judge Nnamdi Kanu? Will the same court that issued an order and its order was trampled on by Buhari and DSS do more than they have done? If Buhari is greater than a competent court of law then what will be the fate of the proceedings? It's clear the case will continue receiving adjournment to tactically orchestrate means to hurt the leader of indigenous people of Biafra. The Nigerian government has shown no sign of respect for the law nor the human right of the people of Biafra. In spite of the sustained and massive protests that had crippled the eastern part of Nigeria, the government has only promised to use soldiers and engage peaceful protesters instead of solving the problem, in some quarters it is believed it's a call for an all out massacre of Biafrans and while exercising right to self defense could lead to another civil war. Meanwhile, today's court will make or mal the already deteriorating scenario of the matter, if the case is handled cautiously and all protocols observed then it would go a long way calming the tension but if Nigerian government should toe the part of negligence to rule of law, which would kill the hope of legal resolution, it would however spark a more fierce demonstration and the time bomb will explode. Everybody will pay the price of illegality and negligence but it's up to Nigerians and Biafrans to oppose Buhari who had before now shown disrespect to the lives of Nigerians and Biafrans when he promised monkey and baboon will be soaked in blood and in 2011 ordered killing of people through motivated post election violence. |
