Peter Obi never acquired any land for the airport, the airport site has been in existence before Peter Obi and yet obiano is the one who wants to start building it. Peter Obi never had any plans to build any airport.
There are many places that the airport could be sited, Umueri is just being considered because of its closeness to Orient refinery. Oba airport site which was abandoned is still there, Igbariam which was the next best choice for citing the airport is still there. Even if Obiano decides not to do anything about the airport nothing will happen, the lands earmarked for the project will still waste like that of the Oba airport so the people should decide and tell us if they want the project or not. * Akpabio is new Majority Leader, Lawan Minority Leader; Senate adjourns till Sept. 25

Analysis of the defection of fifteen senators at Tuesday's plenary from the ruling All Progressives Congress to opposition Peoples Democratic Party show seats configuration in Senate as at July 24, 2018 as follows:

PDP - 56 Senators
APC - 49 Senators
APGA - 1 Seat
VACANT - 2 seats
PARTYLESS MEMBER - 1 (Sen. Buruji Kashamu is partyless after PDP's expulsion).

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Senate has adjourned for its annual recess to September 25, 2018.

With this development, PDP is now the Majority in the Senate and when the federal lawmakers resume on September 25, 2018; incumbent Majority Leader, Senator Ahmed Lawan is to lead his senators to the opposition aisle to the left hand of the Senate President while incumbent Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio is to lead his senators to the aisle on the right hand of the Senate President in the chamber.

Hence the configuration will be as follows:

Majority Leader - Godswill Akpabio (PDP)
Minority Leader - Ahmed Lawan (APC)

Both leaders among other principal officers are also expected to switch their offices to ensure that the new results are reflected in and out of chambers.

I work in one of the Tecno shops here in Portharcout (name withheld) and I fell victim to a young man who came to buy phone. ***tears**

To cut the story short, he requested for Tecno Camon XPro (78,000) and said he didn't have cash so was going to do a transfer for me which I obliged. So I gave him my number.

in few minutes I recieved the alert of 80,000 cash transfer (extra 2000 on top). I tried to bring his attention to the fact that the cash is in excess but he said I should take the remaining ine as a gift from him and I thanked him.

little did I know it was a customized text message he sent to my phone! **tears**

I never knew! I never suspected! I never thought this could happens! human beings are indeed wicked!

I only got to know it was a fraud after he had gone. I closed work that day and was about doing my when I decided to check my balance and behold, the money did not enter. I was shocked! initially I didn't believe it until I visited my bank for a statement of which I got and it confirmed there were actually no transfer of money on that said date.

presently, the owner of this outlet has given me up until Friday 18th to for the money or he throw me out. despite all my explanation and plea to him yet he has refused to understand.

Please i genuinely need all the help I can get to repay rhis money! my last month salary has not been paid, it was supposed to be paid on Friday last week but i didnt get an alert so I suspect he deliberately seized my salary. I do not begrudge him anyway.
