You are right. If it wasn't for the African Americans like MLK and Malcom X who spent the majority of their lives fighting for racial equality many Africans and even non blacks like the Asians wouldn't enjoy the privileges they benefit from today.

Very true, a lot of south Asian men are stereotyped as misogynists, perverted, and unattractive but the women still have a better standing in mainstream culture largely due to their looks and the fetishization of Asian women by the West.

I know a guy who I think may suffer from obsessive compulsive disorder although he vehemently denies.

He has a habit of looking at the time almost everytime and at a particular time, he mutters some words to himself. He repeats words a lot and he has a weird counting habit from counting the numbers of letters or words in a book to counting the number of cars ing by when seated. He has an arrangement for his clothes and things and he'll never touch his phone unless it's fully charged and even ignoring calls from his parents while his phone charges.

Despite America's success, they still have a lot of troubles from poverty, homelessness and crime. They even have the highest rate of Human Rights violations in the developed world.

Los Angeles is terrible for the average low earning person, a lot of people with dreams and some already broken, almost everyone there wants to be an entertainer and then life happens. The city is ridiculously expensive hence the high rate of homelessness in the city. Skid row is the worst place there. Some simply prefer to stay there than move back to their states as failures and keeping hoping for the best.

The Coronavirus will also , it's affecting people already in many ways from health, economic activities and even social activities.
