How many patients visit a dental clinic ?In Nigeria, Dentistry is just hiding under the umbrella of medicine. For those talking about optometrists not studying anatomy, physiology and biochemistry , it's not true. Even those studying Nutrition and Dietetics do these basic courses . It's just basic pre-med . nigerians should take note of the bolded. most of these "para"medics(optometrists,lab scientists,physiotherapists,radiographers e.t.c) wanted to study medicine but couldnt. they found themselves in the above courses and are trying to ascribe to themselves the title "DR" through the backdoor that they couldnt get through the front.
