A Landlord in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State threw out his tenant and her belongings under a heavy downpour. The lady in the picture was thrown out on Monday by her landlord for her inability to pay her rent of 3,5OO per month. So for 5 days since she was thrown out, she has nowhere else to move her things to. Interestingly, this lady is a graduate from Ikot Abasi LGA of the state. According to her, she graduated from the University of Uyo in 2005, served, and returned home, and hadn't been able to secure a job since then to date. This was the saddest part of her story as she only sells groundnuts to make ends meet. May God help each and every one of us after school.🙏 18 Likes 8 Shares |

Right in front of Ministry of Women Affairs, Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs & Poverty Allevation, Ministry of Social Welfare and Community Development and the Cross River State Child Protection Network is where the woman in the pictures and the child believed to be her own have been living for only God knows how long. You can see where they are living by the fence openly. The fence is close to the popular Hope Waddel Institute, Calabar. You can see them lying down on bare ground. I mean bare ground. If not for anything, why not for the sake of the little innocent child, this woman and the child are take away and to a better place? Quite disappointing to see what this woman and her child are ing through. The innocent child right in front of the office of the state child protection network? In front of Ministry of Women Affairs? In front of HumanitarianAffairs? Come on! 18 Likes 3 Shares |
