If Obi wins this elections. Expect LP to produce not less than 10 governors from next 2 weeks elections. Because I assumed Obi will just do well in his strongholds while the HOR and Senate seats of LP will flop, but it appears the Obi effect is not only working for him but the HOR and Senate seats too. Chai! I for don pick LP Senate ticket oh. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 39 Likes 2 Shares |

Someone should tell me these results are fake and only propaganda. How is Tinubu losing in Lagos? And the voters turnout is damn poor. Roughly between 10-20% according to these results. I have been refreshing IREV but no results yet. What is INEC waiting for to make the results already counted and reported at the PU's public online. 4 Likes |

If these results are accurate. It seems HOR and Senate from the SE and SS are benefitting from the Obi effect. I guess we can expect Orji Uzo Kalu to never go back to the Senate again. 36 Likes 1 Share |

There is something Buhari is not telling us. Why did he have to make his vote public? So that when Tinubu loses, no one can blame him. After all he voted for Tinubu against all accusations of him backing someone else secretly. But what Buhari doesn't know is that one vote is enough for Tinubu to win. |

With the introduction of the BVAS, there was some respite that this election was going to be as free and fair as possible. Traditionally, Nigerian elections has always been riddled with corruption and massive rigging. The mantra was, "you better rig to win, or rig not to be rigged out" It was disheartening that even if you had 100% of the electorates some concerted efforts had to be put in place to ensure you don't get rigged out. But the BVAS seemed to have given hope to some people who erstwhile were apathetic to voting because they felt their votes will never count. But the violence related to ballot box snatching, ballot box stuffing seem not to be going anywhere as we see with countless reports of this in many PU across the country. The Solution The only solution is for INEC to adapt and adopt electronic voting. Have voting machines like ATM machines. Once you are accredited, you are issued an ID number and code. You walk over to the machine punch in your ID number and code and the ballot appears and you thumbprint on your candidate and go home. Your vote is electronically transmitted to the server, while also being ed at the PU for PU announcement at close of voting. This way, we will never have issues like overvoting or ballot box stuffing, snatching, and other such related issues. Drawbacks 1. Literacy level of electorates. This can be solved with massive voter education on how the voting process is done. Or have a hybrid of ballot papers with the electronic, and have people who feel confident about the electronic voting use the machines while the rest use the ballot papers. 2. Cost of acquiring said machines. While paper might be cheaper meantime, but it is not in the long run. The machines can be reused in several voting cycles and eventually the cost will balance out. However, we can't put a price on the people being able to get the leaders they truly want. 3. Hacking of the machines and manipulation of the results. This could be the fear for some people because of lack of confidence in INEC. But if INEC is uncompromised, the security protocols can ensure there is not such a manipulation. |

This is the only way Tinubu can win Lagos. And his thugs know it. Hence they had to swing into action, and do the necessary. INEC needs to begin electronic voting even if it has to be only onsite and not remote. Have voting machines like ATM machines. Once you are accredited, you are issued an ID number and code. You walk over to the machine punch in your ID number and code and the ballot appears and you thumbprint on your candidate and go home. Your vote is electronically transmitted to the server, while also being ed at the PU for PU announcement. This way, we will never have issues like overvoting or ballot box stuffing, snatching, and other such related issues. 1 Like |

CSTRR:The court will rule in line with the Law. Courts don't make Law but interpret and dispense justice based on existing Laws and agreements. In the case of the Presidential elections, the 25% requirement in 2/3 (24) states is very unambiguous. It will be a very straightforward case. Don't mind the whole Supreme court naira redesign debacle. Don't let that skew your knowledge of what the courts can or cannot do. |

This sounds like an honest projection. But his perception of Atiku's strength was underplayed to the best of my knowledge. But we will soon find out. But one thing is accurate in his projection. Obi's chance at victory will have to be in the first ballot else he will lose. |

0monnak0da:Cash is meant to be spent, not stored. While there is no crime in deciding to save up your money in cash but statistically, it is only criminals that stash wads of cash they are not actively spending, especially in developed urban settings. Even businesses that have high influx of cash ensure that they put that back into the banks as soon as possible. |

This exactly why we have a cash crunch. The money is out there but not in circulation. |

Over a 200 Million naira in dollars further worsening our foreign reserves. By the right side of the list the amount are denominated in naira and that one is over 1 Billion. All for vote buying and electoral inducements. 2 Likes |

"He said governors were against the policy because of the hardship it has put people into and not because of vote buying." El Rufai should keep lying to himself, the people know better. Nigerians have been suffering untold hardship for some years now, with almost 100% price inflation in all regular folks products. But Naira redesign is causing us hardship. Bullshit. |

All these "LP doesn't have an LG Chairman, Governor, Representative, who will deliver votes for them" is utmost bullshit and predicate on electoral fraud. Anybody that says this should be investigated and asked how votes are delivered. Does he me to say that if 50% of the voters on election day decide to vote for LP, but because they don't have a governor their votes will not count? |

Wainey:If you truly believe this despite seeing the ANAP polls then you are lying to yourself. Obi will not get anything less than 70% of the SE votes. The only thing that can undo him is low voters turnout that is the norm in the SE but it appears that will change in this election. I don't know if Obi can be able to cancel Atiku's northern votes to pull a victory but I am 100% about how the SE votes will turn out. That I can bet on without flinching. |

The NC is always the decider in Nigerian elections. Whoever gets majority of NC votes, leading the next candidate by at least 10 points has won the elections. |

Your analysis is the most biased nonsense I have seen online today as far as predictions come. That you think Tinubu will be ahead of Atiku is just plainly delusional. Winning more Northern states than Atiku, you should call your prediction "The prayer of a Yoruba 'Christian' for Tinubu to win" But not to worry, it is only a few hours and your doubts will clear. 16 Likes |

“I know the three of them quite well, and if I have to make a choice. Let us say a first among equals. To answer why I would vote Peter Obi is because it represents a new way, a new path. And not because you are saying a new path is better,” The above quote from Peterside says it all. An Obi victory will signal a major shift in how politics is done in Nigeria. it will be a new dawn. I appreciate his honesty about not knowing if that exactly will be better, but I guess he believes it is worth a try. But I think it will be better, because when you want change, you have to do things differently. Unfortunately, Obi is not favorite to win at least not against Atiku. |

Most women get married to some men because that was the only or best option available to them at that moment. And this is the foundation for a woman who ends up cheating on her husband, because in her mind she believes she can do better. And when the pressure to cheat comes on her, without enough discipline or morals she will cave in to it. My advice to men, never marry a woman who thinks she can do better than you. While a desperate woman can hide this, in the course of the courtship she will slip and inadvertently give the vibes of "doing you a favor" by marrying you. I have no iota of pity for men who despite knowing this keep pursuing these women because they see them as trophy wives. 2 Likes |

LegendHero:You need to realize that Tinubu is no MKO. And moreover MKO had very convincing votes in the SE and SS. For instance in the 4 SE states, out of about about 1.5 million votes cast, Tofa only had about 50k votes more than MKO despite the fact that Tofa's VP was from Imo state. MKO also won the battle ground of what makes for the NC now. Akwa-Ibom, Anambra, Cross River, Delta, Edo mostly were won with more than 10 points. Moreover we all saw how MKO ended. 1 Like |

Kenpaly:Your title should rather say, "I hope that Tinubu will win this elections". Cos that is exactly what you want, so why are you painting a picture that it is not what you want? Anyway, Tinubu has no clear path to victory, at least not like Atiku who I have deemed the favorite to win. The only way Tinubu wins is by some massive rigging. Just keep deceiving yourself. |
