When I read the post @AdeyinkaSeun I showed it to a friend who has been living in Melbourne for 4 years now and he said -

That was his opinion.

My opinion is that he went too far and exagerated a lot trying to manage pple’s expectations, at least he should have compared Australia to Nigeria where I believe most pple on this thread live.

As someone noted earlier in this thread, prepare when coming anyway. It might not be as you expect job wise when you just come in, but it will be after some time and that is the case with many migrants at first regardless of skin color.

I have been here only 3 months and wish I have been here years ago; things work in this country. I am the only black person in my company & have never experienced racism; at least for now rather they want to know more about my country and culture.

I encourage everyone on this quest not to relent,
It is well worth it.

this is the centre for quality assessment IN HIGHER EDUCATION IN LITHUANIA website

Please take note before any university in Lithuania will accept u, u have to go through (centre for quality assessments in higher education)

They are the one to assess your education document, later they will issue u a certificate of recognition.

Higher Education Qualifications (for master student)

For master degree this is the process.

1. U need to and print the application form for Recognition form in the centre for quality assessments in higher education in Lithuania WEBSITE.

2. Make 2 waec and 2 Bsc certificate, coloured copies which u will take the federal ministry of education in Abuja together with the original certificate once ministry of education approval it with their stamp u will take it to ministry of foriegn affair in abuja is just oposite of federal ministry of education same place OR AREA.

3. Before number 1 and 2 aspect u need to go to ur school and request a fresh transcript that will be addressed to centre for quality assessments in higher education in lithuania u will see d adress on d application form for Recognition AND THE REQUIREMENT. once u collect the transcript make 1 coloured copy of it. The coloured copy will b taking together with ur waec and Bsc cert cos they will not attend to u without ur transcript.

4. International port. Please make sure the name u bear on ur international port is d same name u bear on ur waec and Bsc cert make sure they correspond. On ur international port it contains 30 pages make copy of the 30 pages of ur port then take it as well to Nigerian immigration service (NIS) in abuja. once they authenticate ur port with stamp of NIS on all the 30 pages of ur port. u will take it to ministry of foriegn affair in abuja.

Pls be aware that this pple in abuja will demand money from u for quite service that's how I did mine BOTH the ministry of education and foriegn affair.


Once u finish doing the CERTIFIED TRUE COPY OF UR CERTIFICATE AND INTERNATIONAL PORT. u can go ahead with the feeling of the application form for Recognition. put every required document both the official transcript from ur university in the big envelop and post it.

I recommend u post it through FedEx posting for quick delivery and as soon as it is received by the centre for quality assessments in higher education in Lithuania they will send u a registration number to ur Email address telling u the status of ur application that they have sent a verification to ur school, also asking u to go to ur university and follow up with the verification to avoid any delay.

once ur school aprove the verification with the school stamp bearing (Certified true copy on each of the transcript Year 1,2,3,4) then u have to post it again through FedEx to (Centre for quality assessments in higher education in Lithuania)

The Lithuania education board will not and will never ask u for any money the only thing they will demand from u is ur authentic document.

once it is successful they will issue u a certificate of Recognition which u will use in applying for ission in any Lithuanian university.
