first week, I'm sure it's ready
take the slip you got when you captured, if you don't have the slip just write your name on a piece of paper and drop it in the slip box and then wait like 3-4 hours till they start calling people in, if your port is available they'll call your name.

you might wanna take a valid ID card they might ask, the day I got mine they didn't ask me for it but they were asking some people to provide a valid id

one more thing if your name does NOT start with A or O please don't go on Monday or Wednesday

you don't need an appointment once you've paid and you have all the document you need in place just take every thing to the immigration office you choose when you were filling your application online

First person has every documents but his port has expired. Can I still used it?

Second person has every other documents including NIN but no drivers license. Will his NIN cover for drivers license?

I will be heading to their office on Monday.

you can't use expired port and secondly you need just one either nin or drivers licence not both

follow the steps in the post linked above, you'll be fine and make sure you take the oiginal copy of your birth cert and state of origin along with you

yes i applied online with my pc and atm and as for how long the whole process took about 2-3 months i started the online application and paid on the 2nd of sept printed my forms, took me about a week to gather all the required document i.e gurrantor, state of origin etc.

i cant the date i took all the documents and forms to alausa but after they confirmed my payment and vetted my documents they sent my a message after about a week to come for capturing, so i captured on the 15th of sept was given a slip with the port collection date set on 12th of Nov but it wasn't ready on the said date had to wait till dec 1

as for price i paid 25k+1k payment gateway fee for 32 pages 5 years check the link above its all there

yeah i would say they are quite ordely.

i went there for collection twice, first on the date that was written on my slip which was nov 12, it wasn't ready then so i went back on dec 1 and it was already waiting fo me.

i don't know the requirements for renewal,i applied for fresh port, the requirements for renewal is on the immigration's official webisite or you can just google it

but wait,my port has been issued since NOV 20 so why do they bother asking us to wait for text message that they won't send, the suspence almost killed me for house, na small remain. every text notification i recieve i'll jump to my phone only to find out it's mtn, to make matters worst mtn com go upgrade their own foolishness and started sending me the same text upto 5-7 times a day. mtheeeeeeeewwww nonsense
