Any used one you see hardly works, we don’t really have much toks parts in this country due to dollars and customs fees. New ones are very costly reasons we don’t have new ones here.

In 2023 , Upwork suspended / blocked my for no reason, I have a significant amount of money stuck there. Everything was right with my , had good reviews , 100% job success score, the suspension just came out of nowhere.

Since then, I have tried to unblock my , but they keep giving countless excuses , I have sent them my ID and multiple bank statements. But the complain changes every time on why "my verification did not ". The bank statements I sent them are not new banks , or online only banks, these banks have literally been in existence for decades, one of them established in 1990, the other in 1989, yet Upwork couldn't still the documents.

I am very frustrated, I don't know what to do . I need my money.

The whole thing is currently looking like a deliberate attempt to just frustrate me and prevent me from using the platform or withdrawing my earnings since 2023 !!!

Has any one done address verification on Upwork ? Which document did they accept for address / proof of address. They keep rejecting my bank statements that I ensured meets all their requirements .

Simply go to a magistrate court. You will pay some money though not much. A certificate will be issued to you. I did mine without my wife or anyone present. I paid 5k I think.

I have a vehicle with similar engine and transmission. Accord 2006 .

I also have fuel consumption issues, I have made some improvement on the fuel consumption, but it would be very hard to give you recommendations until you scan the vehicle, something as simple as a loose wire, MAF Sensor or even dirty air filter can cause all the issues you are experiencing. You can buy a cheap OBD2 scanner for between 2-5k , it connects via Bluetooth to your phone.

When you do that , share the error codes, so we can help.

For the issue of changing gears, check the wires leading to your shift solenoids, its possible they are not properly clipped on.

You still need to scan the vehicle, else you might end up spending money you shouldn't spend. Buy the cheap scanner and scan your car .

You don't need marriage certificate for your port. But your wife has to change her name on NIN before registration for port.

Now the thing I noticed with NIN is, not all centres follow the process of requiring all documents before they effect a name change. Even though I went with marriage certificate for my wife's name change, they only took the affidavit.

If your name on NIN is the same with your husband's name. Then only affidavit should work. I personally think you don't even need the affidavit as long as your NIN name is carrying your husband's name already and it is a new port too.

You will still have to go to court. You can't have original marriage certificate without court. Go there and explain to them. It can be at least 4 ppl that will attend the court. U, ur spouse and 2 other ppl to sign for you. I did the same thing. No paparazzi, no dancing, no snapping. Just sign and collect the certificate. We spent less than 10 minutes.

I am just curious if there is any form of other document I can use to represent evidence of marriage, for international port, its kind of urgent . If I have to go the marriage court route, the entire process would take at least a month.

I know this section of Nairaland, is filled with married people. I am confident this issue isn't peculiar to me, someone here might have had this issue and solved it . I would really appreciate if anyone who has faced something similar can recommend the best approach, especially with the urgency.
