I was expecting cogent reasons why this man feels Nigeria is not a democratic state, and a good instance would have been the declaration of SoE and removal of democratically elected officers in Rivers. I'm kinda disappointed by the examples of "what's happening in Edo", "I went to IDP camps" and "holders of offices forge certificates". These indices are pointing to different things entirely (insecurity, inefficiency and corruption respectively) not undemocratic nature of the country.

Apart from the hostels run by the school istratives, Unilorin allows private firms build hostels on campus which usually are very expensive. These hostels are very nice, exquisite. However the one that the school is running isn't that bad too - with porters working every now and then to maintain it. As at when I was in school, a space in the school hostel went for 30K while private hostels went for as much as 250K.

I think Unilorin gave us a better hostel than all I've ever seen. I'm not talking about privately owned hostels.
