No any assumption there. The dream of the prophets is a 'wahy,' it is Allah (SWA) that sends wahy.

Prophet Isma'il said Oh 'abati' do what you have been commanded to. You will find me insha Allah among 'assabireen.'

When he was about to act, "wa naadainahu an yaa Ibrahim."
