The Nation noted that President Bola Tinubu’s istration has been proactive in addressing wage-related concerns, particularly in light of the rising cost of living and economic challenges facing workers. Following a crucial meeting with NLC and TUC leaderships on July 15, President Tinubu approved the increase in the national minimum wage. This decision was later codified through the age of a new minimum wage bill by the National Assembly, which the President signed . The new legislation also mandates a review of the national minimum wage every three years, ensuring that wage adjustments keep pace with inflation and economic realities. https://www.google.com/amp/s/thenationonlineng.net/junior-federal-workers-new-minimum-wage-details-ready/amp/ |

He maintained that the reason for the SUVs is because most Nigerian roads are not motorable, adding that these vehicles are the only ones that could help them carry out their oversight functions. This is really pathetic...so we let our roads dilapidate so that, we can use it as an excuse to be spending huge sums on the purchase of SUVs. Most Nigerians truly does not love their country. |

Resurrection212: If you don't mention Jonathan and the family you wouldn't really be satisfied....can you swear with everything in you that, there was never anything like traffic gridlock, even if is for some minutes as a result of this long motorcade. But because is your own, it was never a thing, but for the woman you so hated, is a thing. But one thing is sure, your conscience wouldn't spare you, if after all these hailings, it eventually becomes that, an average Nigerians life was more meaningful under that istration than your lord and masters own. Good morning. |

This is just all you wanted, let it be done by me or through me, you knew the subsidy has to go, but you and your praise singers felt those that removed the subsidy then should not be ed rather, the government should be pulled down. Today the same reliability kept resurfacing, hence exposing the expediency of the need to end the scheme. You should bury your head in shame for misleading Nigerians then, when the sacrifice wouldn't have this excruciating. Instead you insisted the scheme was a scam, that there was nothing like subsidy. Shutting down Ojota then, was all you needed to begin your ground plan for the Presidency. Here you are today, but that, what goes around comes around. |

"But it is not true because the reality is that these glitches started well early in 2022. It has nothing to do with this election period. Once you have a challenge of this nature, it is a cyclic thing and they will continue to come up. And then once you have arbitrage issues, you will have a glitch. You identified all these, but yet could not map out measures to counter it. All what you people know is to occupy public office and be embezzling public fund, no form of creativity or innovation in governance. 1 Like |

Babaibe: Your type of people were the people that plunged Nigeria into this mess in 2015, by Sheepishly following Tinubu and his array of lies. How can a trip cost 20 billion?, Was there anytime in the History of this Nation and the World that a president travelled with a 200 person's noEntourage?. Was Diezani the GMD of NNPC?. This is the issue, some people were going about quoting and brandishing unrealistic Financial figures in 2015 to misled gullible minds like you. How come after all these figures and mis-managements this were far better then than now? 1 Like |

Golden Chioma...represented Etche Constituency 2, in the Rivers State House of Assembly, not Omuma....Omuma's only constituency is still being represented by Honorable Kelechi Nwogu, who is gearing up for House of Representatives Election. He was the former House leader when Ameachi was the Executive Governor of Rivers State, not House Speaker. Golden is from a Village Called Odufor in Etche Local Government. His younger brother, Hon. Austin Ben Chioma, is a serving member of the state executive council under Governor Wike. |

Good luck to him, and speedy recovery.....he has attained the penacle of his career. But I think paragraph 7 was better left for the Retiring CJN and not for the Executive to enumerate....it just made it look like this government worked with Tanko as a member of the Executive council. |

stanluiz: You see how you are misleading yourself, thinking that you are misleading others. There was never such a statement from Atiku to any South East PDP stakeholder. Mention the father or meeting where such suggestion was made by Atiku. Rather it has always been Atiku intimating PDP stakeholders of his plan to run for president since after the 2019 election One thing I discovered about my Ibo brothers is that, you people get too emotional easily, since you people prefer the Presidency to go back to North East rather than any region in South, so be it, you people should stop all this maligning and insults on the person of Wike, focus on how to mobilize votes for Peter Obi under his new party And see how you people would make it popular. Because Wike didn't allow Oyigbo to be over run my activities of Ipob when it was obvious that, the group's activities were already becoming dangerous within the area. Today Wike has become the worst Governor in Nigeria, and has stolen more than all, why can't you people Understand that, it is his person, and there is nothing you can do about it. 1 Like |

Welcome Nyerishi....many thought what happened on Saturday was a matter to spite you over, but it was simply a matter to learn from. I dream to play politics, and I have learnt to play it with courage, I never thought you could pull that number of votes, especially considering the fact that, you were more of a Rivers based politician than National politician. I have learnt that, national politics requires one to trust nobody, I was more worried over the deposition of Obaseki and Edo delegates, who took their grievance to the convention, thereby reducing your votes the more, but is okay, I salute you my brother....so many are already mocking Rivers Governors past and present because of what they termed wastage of State Resources at the National Level. But let me tell you people, so many people at the national level have come to know Rivers Men for one thing, Courage and Fearlessness. Infact let me rest my case here. 1 Like 1 Share |

MALIGNANTGuest:You just succeeded in demonstrating your Bigotry...so concieted and full of your self and your Lagos State. Just tell me one NURTW personnel that is as powerful as MC OLuomo in Rivers State. Ever since Ateke Ventured into traditional stool just mention with date any crisis he has sponsored or be fingered in, in Rivers State. But of recent you were aware of what happened in Lagos State with your MC Oluomo fully involved. Yet you still could hold this bigoted view of yours. |

This you people's Utopian believe that almost destroyed you, during the lock down era of Covid-19, when you people were hiding in various articulated vehicles in order to get yourselves and your produce to the South for earnings. You have started over rating yourselves again. You people should let everyone exist in peace and stop all these chest beating for they will only destroy you. Pride commet before fall.

As a Young Man in Rivers State, I knew how proud and well fed most Rivers Men we're under this Govt.. I also saw how workers friendly Odili's government was. But I never knew Abuja Hated Amaechi and Odili this bad, that the man was threatened with EFCC. Is so bad that, he was badly treated later. |

Starships4u: What am saying is that it hasn't been this bad before under Wike's tenure, and I know that, shortly, these would be cleared, no need for this snear campaign, almost all cities in Nigeria experiences something like this at one point or the other. |

For Those of you referring to the previous Governor's Tenure and the Incumbent in of Sanitation, let non of you think that, we have short memory, we know how long dirts stayed on the streets of PortHarcourt especially after the 2015 General elections untill May 29th when the new Government was inaugurated because, contracts were not paid. Any one in doubt, should cross check the facts, in my Rivers State why I don't usually discuss on issues like this is that, everything is highly politicized. And the person that posted this simply did it just to snear the image of the Governor even when he knew it hasn't been like this before, and that the Agency in charge was undergoing a transition. On this issue of receptacles been constructed or not, my brothers and sisters let's always maintain truth, some good number of receptacles were constructed between 2019 and 2020 in Rivers State, anyone who doubts should come I would take you round at least 10 within Rumuokoro, Rumuodomaya, Rukpokwu and Eliozu, but the problem is that some Nigerians for reasons best known to them refuse to throw garbage into them, rather drop them on the roads, or the demarcations.
