I work with a non profit that fits prosthetic legs. If you know the person who shot the photo or can the boy there is a possibility that I you;ld arrange for him to get two legs. I am a Brit living in the US and just returned from taking a young woman from Mozambique to be fitted with a prosthetic.

If you do not know where the boy is perhaps you could persuade the editor of the Vanguard paper and online to put the picture on the front page and online, someone may come forward if they think that he could have the legs he imagines.Please email [email protected] if someone knows and if not put it with the picture in every paper in Lagos. Let's not stand by in sympathy but act and get the boy two legs just as soon as we can. Douglas
