Yes, I saw the news. And it is indeed building up to be a tense situation. Gyokeres has even made a statement via IG that he will speak when it is right that we should ignore all that the media outlets are saying. Time will reveal more.

If things should get out of hand, I hope the hypocrites that accused Osimhen of having attitude problem when ADL was trying to deal with him can speak out again...

It seems like Viktor Gykores is about to experience a bit of what Osimhen experienced with Napoli..

Manchester United are evaluating an offer for Napoli's Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen, 26, using Netherlands forward Joshua Zirkzee, 24, as part of the deal. (Gazzetta dello Sport - in Italian), external

First of all once again it's not so simplistic but your presentation is misleading.

Martinez has spent almost the entirety of his adult career in Seria A with Inter Milan. And his league goals are primarily in a top tier league.

However, that's not the same with VO, Belgium, French and Turkish retirement league not the same level 🎚️ as Seria A.

Don't get negative perception misled, l am not saying Martinez is a better striker than VO, I am saying he is more consistent but nobody calls him world 🌍 class.. The term CONSISTENCY is the core subject here.

That doesn't constitute HATE, maybe 🤔 in your small mind it may be so.

You're being mischievous...
Why not respond to the post he made showing Osimhen and Laudato stats in the same serie A?
You keep repeating the same thing about Osimhen scoring 15+ goals once in Europe top 5 league in his career, but you won't mention the fact that he missed a good number of games in his first 2 and last season due to injuries and AFCON commitment.. .thank God for goal per game ratio....everyone can tell who is more consistent between Osimhen and Laurato

We should have a home based D'tigress squad that is made up of the best female basketball players in Nigeria . Murjanatu Musa was a home based player before she moved abroad. We have had a few breakout players like that who transitioned from our local league to America and Europe. Cheers.

The problem is that we don't have an active basketball league ...
How can we effectively pick the best home based players without a functioning league?
It's just ceremonial basketball competitions taking place here and there

At this rate, it's unlikely that Musa will the team for the afrobasket...

Good for her though.... By the time the world cup comes around, we should have a more formidable team...
I really hope we get Kiki

Lautaro Martínez's records in Serie A

Matches played ------ 237
Goals scored ------------115
Average goals per match------0.48

Osimhen's records

Matches played ------ 108
Goals scored ------------65
Average goals per match------0.62

Bro, all these things don't matter to Southgate..

Even if Osimhen wins Balon d'or, Southgate will question the metrics used to give him the award..

Southgate just came back from church after desperately praying that Osimhen moves to Saudi Arabia so he can finally nail him patapaya grin grin

Saw a tweet saying Osimhen has now agreed personal with Al-Hilal ... Waiting for Napoli to agree to Al-Hilal's bid....

Well, if he ends up in Saudi, good for him... There are some decent players in Saudi after all..

I love dt third statement…Simon is part of dis coach “sentiment” .even if heaven is falling,he will start ,he likes him and it’s like dt to all coaches ;not only peculiar to chelle

Simon shouldn't be starting games for us anymore.. the guy has always been like that...hot today, cold tomorrow, but mostly cold

I believe "Fulham better than Porto" was the allegation

Bitter truth that yes men guys will not want to hear. Delap and Gyokeres has had 5years of consistent goal scoring season and Osimhen with just one season and another in a kebab league should be earning lesser or the same amount with them

This must be sarcasm 🤣🤣

New list for Russia
No more Aina on the list....Sodiq returns

I hope Chelle will start Osayi at RB rather than Sodiq...

Olakunle Olusegun....is he not the former u-17 sensation??

Unfortunately, Frederick and Agu aren't on the list for the Russia friendly....
I hope they can somehow gatecrash the list later, especially Frederick.... The guy looks like one for the future...

My opinion is he is an outstanding top level striker but world class that's open for debate. He has only scored above 20 league goals in a top flight league once in his career.

I compared him to players who have done that consistently over several seasons in top level leagues that makes them World class.

Nothing is open to debate .. it's just your emotions in play here..

As far back as 2016, when Osimhen was still struggling at the start of his professional career in , you completely wrote him off and predicted all sort of doom ..it clear you don't rate him, so your opinion doesn't really matter...

Like I said, Osimhen has the accolades to back up the "world class striker" claim. If you're waiting for him to play in the premier league before you can acknowledge that fact, then you're on a long thing... nobody send you

No has not proven himself as a " world class outstanding player"

Players like Lewandoski, Mbappe, Haaland, Kane, Salah, etc have proven themselves consistently and continuously over several seasons.

VO was not the outstanding player, above average yes in Belgium, and had one break out season in Seria A prior to that above average.

Now he is in the retirement league which if he stays too long will reduce his world rating .

The response from too clubs confirms the general perception very good player but not many clubs willing to meet his wage demands.

Oga, Osimhen is a world class striker ... Your opinion of him won't change the reality on ground...he has all the accolades to back it up...

Premier league clubs not willing to pay his wage demands doesn't take away his quality.... Football doesn't start or end in England...

That's typical Brits for you grin They will always downplay others apart from themselves, shebi that's how Carragher downplayed Afcon!

Even Glen Hoddle once said Oshmen is not EPL material grin

The way English pundits, media and fans talk, you would think England has won the world cup 10 times and are that best team in the world ..

A bit worrying 😕 VO name comes up in multiple transfer talks with top premiership clubs.

However, it's just talk for now , nonetheless, there is a lot of speculation about over inflated wage demands of £400k a week. If that's true he may find himself remaining in the retirement Turkish league or in the money 🤑 bags 💰 Saudi league.

Are those wage demands justified if actually true in my opinion NO.

Here we go again

do u think she will commit too us with the way she is going I think US national team will steal her

I doubt it..

US have a lot of good players in her position already...except she is willing to wait..

The same applies to Arike Ogunbowale

She just finished with her team on . Her team was in the finals of the french cup, their last game was 2 days ago. What happened was Phoenix added her to the rosterz then suspended her contract till she arrives which is likely this week.

We should start seeing her the next few days. I'm hoping she impresses immediately so she at least stays in roster. She doesn't have a guaranteed contract so they can cut her at any time.

No wonder...

That means she didn't partake in the pre season either.
For them to retain her in their rooster despite her not having played for them shows how much they rate her

Just saw the mercury roster for the season, Musa Murjanatu's name is on it...
Wooooow...I am so impressed by this, she has really come along way ...

This is amazing!

I hope she gets enough game time...

On the downside, she will most likely not be available for the afrobasket, but it's all good

Gone are the days when Nigerian clubs did well in the CAF champions league about 2 decades ago. That Enyimba squad supplied some players to the super eagles back then. I want homegrown players to be invited to the national team but honestly Nigerian local league is terrible. How can we improve and upgrade.

I believe Remo Stars are on course to break the jinx... They are the best run club in the league...

Interesting that Precious Benjamin also made the final cut for the U20 Afcon. Aliyu Zubairu seems to be cooking something nice with this Flying Eagles team.

Behold the Final 24-man squad:⤵️

Defenders: Adamu Maigari (El-Kanemi Warriors); Odinaka Okoro (Sporting Lagos); Daniel Bameyi (Bayelsa United); Emmanuel Chukwu (TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, ); Chigozie Michael Ihejiofor (Katsina United)

Midfielders: Caleb Ochedikwu (NK Uljanik Pula, Croatia); Israel Isaac Ayuma (NK Istra, Croatia); Simon Cletus (Mavlon FC); Sulaiman Alabi Jojo (El-Kanemi Warriors); Auwal Ibrahim (Akwa United); Shafiu Adamu Duguri (Wikki Tourists)

Forwards: Precious Benjamin (TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, ); Ezekiel Anthony Kpangu (Inspire FC); Divine Oliseh (Forster Academy); Clinton Jephta (Enyimba FC); Bidemi Amole (Real Sapphire FC); Tahir Maigana (Wireless FC); Theophilus Mendos Rickson (Niger Tornadoes); Kparobo Nathaniel Arierhi (Lillestrom SK, Norway); Matthew Kingsley (Kings FC); Yushau Armiyau (Katsina United)

3 GKs, 5DFs, 6 MFs, 10 FWs.

Which one is Wireless FC again?
When will this culture of infusing Academy players to the u-20 stop?
The u-20 is supposed to be filled with players with 1-2 years of professional experience.... The Academy players can have the u-17...

Iwobi is on course to hit double digit goals this season.... His best season in his premier league career and he is doing it in his preferred position..

This idea of using him in a 2 man midfield is why he is constantly underperformed and been used a a scapegoat, sort of by disgruntled fans....
Chelle need to stop it... If at all he wants to use a 2 man midfield, let Iwobi start on the flank...that way, he can easily drop to midfield at will and provide extra bodies.....

It's just 2 games but the CHAN team could use it as good exposure. Exposure also for Coach Daniel and Fidelis.

With at least 5 games by the next round of qualifiers, Chelle could unearth someone useful for the SE

Another issue is that after that friendly, some of the players that participate might no longer be available for CHAN cus they would have gotten deals abroad...

No matter how we look at it, NPFL players always use any national team call up as n opportunity to Japa...
Our league is in shambles so everybody wants to move....

Osimhen has 28 goals this season. At this point, he deserves whatever wage he request for a Big team. What a worthwhile gamble

Wc one is 90percent…if fifa allows South Africa 🇿🇦 to have deir way..no problem den,na to start to Dey field ineligible players to execute matches ,we go just Dey make reference to South Africa situation. Simple

Exactly.. And countries like Nigeria and Ethiopia that have been punished for the same offence can drag FIFA to CAS for being biased...
I was just laughing when I saw the defense the South Africans were cooking up on social media when the news broke out..

FIFA no dey play..

I Zimbabwe were banned from participating in the 2018 world cup qualifiers after their former coach reported them to FIFA for failing to pay him his wages...
