So why did he vote in ? Is he saying he was bribed to I dont understand that comment. The man is a pedophile, period. His urges and sick desires took over his common sense. At least they have all been exposed. I pity his children, people will be looking at them like kids of a pedophile. sad
With his vote.....he proved to be a true yoruba son.

EVANS BIPI: Wike is not powerful in Rivers State as it is been portrayed. He is only using the federal might against Amaechi in this fight. GEJ will reap all these fruits he is currently sowing in Rivers State. Imagine Wike that couldnt win a common councilorship Election in Rumuomasi ward 8, Obio/Akpor LGA of Rivers state is now challenging a Governor. all of you shouldnt be deceived, GEJ wont win this battle.
Continue to live in dream world. Go and read the list of those that fought Obasanjo and give us a name that won. Ibori and Silva is a clear example of what Amaechi will be after all said and done. Jonathan has all that it takes to bring Amaechi down anytime anyday. Amaechi has only opposition's sympathy to rely on. When this roforofo fight or drama is over, Amaechi will be counting his loses and the chances he has to reconcile with Jonathan which he ignored. SORRY will be his(Amaechi's) surname.

So the north is so peaceful now that rivers state has become a place of concern to these guys grin grin grin grin
Never mind the hypocrites, now they want state police which they openly rejected and told us that northern Nigeria is not yet ripe for state police. Instead of them to call boko haram to order, they are wasting tax payers money on an unnecessary visit. Amaechi should know that southerner have worked for northern agenda and get rewarded in good coins. The only reward you get after working for northern agenda is death. Saro Wiwa, Awolowo, Abiola, Dele Giwa, Isaac Adaka Boro are few examples from the long list of those who got death as reward for working towards northern agenda, especially hausa/fulani oligarchy. GOWON have now turned himself to a hypocritical prayer warrior since fulani herdsmen declared him wanted dead or alive after they(fulani herdsmen) vowed to wipe out his people from this planet earth. Gowon once worked for northern(hausa/fulani) agenda. Amaechi's case will never be different.

lauyan Abuja: Hmmm so sad we have low brain and narrow minds, that don't know the facts, "peace any where is peace every where". So sad some naira landers view is just like kids that still eat talk u mummy!!
What do you mean by peace? Let the fool come out let us wipe out his entire family and then we will tell Nigerians to forgive us that we want peace to reign. Then our elders will ask federal government to grant us amnesty.
An amnesty to murderers, Jihadist, Mujahidden, terrorist, boko haram etc is a sign that Jonathan's government is a failure. After 9/11, i never heard USA citizens calling for amnesty to be granted to Osama and his alqaeda terrorist group. Northerners have once proven that northerners are born to kill and also northerners have shown that they have the exclusive right to kill unnecessarily.

abokinside: Clearly some Niger delta youth are being delusional, there is no way one region can produce the president of six regions. Pls grow up stop stoning northern govs they were th3 ones who made sure Gej got the required votes from 24 states of the federation. It wasn't Asari dokubo that won the pdp primaries nor was it evans bipi. It was this guys who defied the Buhari train qnd made sure their people voted for an ijaw man. Your man will surely need them again in 2015. Guys tread softly stoning wole soyinka cos of Jonathan sounds like an aberration, this guy has fought and done more things for Niger delta than Goodluck Jonathan. I still all the campaign against Abacha govt for the killing of Saro Wiwa this was when Goodluck Jonathan was enjoying the military patronage of appointments.
So you ed Saro Wiwa, that's the reason those hypocrites were stoned. At the end of this roforofo fight and from jihadist governors from boko haram axis, Amaechi will be history just like Saro Wiwa, Abiola, Kudirat, Dele Giwa, Pa Afred Rewane, Funsho Williams etc.

dabossman:

I don't quite agree with your assessment. The increment is not on what we use but a fixed service charge just for owning a prepaid meter, whether we have power or not.

I and my family spend less than 12 hours at home as we go off to work and school, so even if there was 24hours electricity, I would know how to manage my consumption and work within my budget just like I do with my telephone credit, cable TV subscription and other expenses. Charging Nigerians for a service they don't even enjoy is nothing short of extortion.
It is not extortion, it is robbery, slavery and deceit.
confusion247(m): 10:26pm On Jul 16, 2013
ocman: YOU IF I DON'T RECHARGE MY METER FOR A FULL YEAR I WILL PAY 650 X 12 = #7800 FOR JUST USING NO LIGHT? PLS EXPLAIN. IS THIS TRUE? FOR JUST OWNING A PRE-PAID METER?
Yes that's the truth. And the annoying part of it is that those companies that took over PHCN will just do nothing to improve the erratic power since they knew that they will make billions of naira at the end of the month through maintenance fee of #700.00 from Nigerians. The only question i have is ......how come we have clones and aliens as leaders?

You talk like u dont know that judiciary in Nigeria is a rubber stamp of the presidency.
May be you have forgotten that a sharia court in zamfara state is also part of the judiciary in Nigeria, and that sharia court is also a rubber stamp of the presidency or a kaki stamp for the first lady? Why didn't OBASANJO use this rubber stamp and jail mustapha since he is guilty or use it to release him for his third term agenda then?

I hope you noticed that I put "Brigadier General" in quotes in the thread's title. Now,please answer this question honestly: If Al Mustapha is made a Lt General, would your objection to my wish reduce? Is Al Mustapha's name more problematic to you than any Army structure? Are you a closet "tttttttrx"?
I think you are wasting your time on nairaland, kindly go down to army headquarters and send Ihejirika parking. Your own way to fight corruption is to retire army them rather than prosecute them. sentimental bigot!!!

mitwitdot: for those who dont know, The release of Al-Mustapha is a political strategy employed by Jonathan's men to gain political grounds in the north come 2015 election.

Considering the overwhelming and crowd he pulled in Kano on his arrival, its a solid strategy by the President to gain acceptance amongst Northerners notwithstanding the number of innocent lives he took and families bearing the grunt.

It is all POLITICS!
Why didn't OBASANJO jail him or release him to gain from northerners for his third term agenda? Have you forgotten that mustapha have been in detention for the 8 years Obasanjo was in power? His release has nothing to do with 2015 because there is no vacancy in aso rock till 2019. Soon you people will start to blame Jonathan for all the building that collapsed in lagos. grin grin grin grin

I disagree with you, how can we "dis integration" as you put it We have only two classes powerless or powerful if your talking about tribal separation, the same elites will continue to rob the masses so that is not a solution.
I disagree with you too, it is easy for Yorubas to confront one of their own in an Oduduwa republic than to confront an Ijaw man in a One Nigeria.
Disintegration is the answer.

druid06: Even robber band, though it is notorious for it's elasticity, it cuts when it es it's breaking point. Same with metal like lead. Lead is notorious for it's density but it has a boiling point. You can only push a person to a corner and when it get's too much, that person would attack.

I am not prophet but this has been my debate with my friends about an incoming revolution. I get booed by some of my friends while others agree to my thesis. The french revolution started when the yardstick between the rich and the poor was too much. There was so much corruption that the rich get reacher while the poorer was left in worst situation. Then the poor took matters into their own hands and started a revolution.

The revolution that would happen in Nigeria is going to be bitter sweet. Though hundreds even thousands may loose their life but the country would return back to it's grace it once was when our colonial masters where still the leaders. I disagree about the part where the man in the synagogue said this problem could be averted if the government listens to the demand of their youth but the point Prophet T.B Joshua is forgetting is that our leaders never listen.

We've gotten to this abyss because our leaders never listen to our cries. They don't care for our future. It's all about them and their families as they indirectly handle the mantle of power to their own family. Even Mr. President has turned the Nigerian consitution and the Nigerian government into a laughing stock of the world.

I am ready for a revolution because I am sick and tired of our cries not being heard. I am sick and tired of the degrading nature of our socio-economic values and I want a better Nigeria. I want a Nigeria where my children and theirs would meet and enjoy. I want Nigeria to be returned back as the leading force in Africa and retrieve the mantle of being the giant of Africa.

We need a revolution for change.

You are making a very big mistake if you think and believe that the president is the problem of this country.

Demdem: Excellent development.
I hope that revolution will sweep the retardeen from power enroute kirikiri.
Enough of foolishness and stupidity in Aso Rock.
You are just displaying your foolishness and stupidity here on nairaland. Be informed that even if Jonathan dies today, nothing will change. Obasanjo stayed in aso rock for 8 years and didn't achieve anything. Northerners ruled for 38 years and ruined Nigeria. Jonathan is not a magician. As for revolution, forget it. That will never happen in Nigeria because we are divided between ethnic and religious lines.

taharqa2: Interesting!! Am sure these NORTHERNERS coming to 'protest' for Ameachi do not have anything bothering them in their own states upon which to protest. They obviously want d 'best' for Rivers State, since all is already well with their States and region. They are Kind, very altrustic; Activists, Freedom fighters and of course, 'Progressives'....
What else do you expect from 10 million alamajiris? If NYSC are to be killed, alamajiris are there to carry out the order. If boko haram want suicide bombers, alamajiris are there to submit themselves. If Igbo's are to be massacred in the north, alamajiris are there to execute the job. If JEGA is to be stoned for declaring Jonathan an infidel a winner in place of Buhari, alamajiris knows what to do. and the story continues. Alamajiris are not protesting against their governors and leaders that was unable to build one alamajiri school for them, but they will accept to demonstrate against Jonathan who have build over 100 alamajiri school for them. tufiakwa.

olire: this is just a flimsy excuse for our failure as a nation. Do you knw that Ghana isn't the way it was wen God made them, but now they are making headway. Tha asantes and fantes were never together but they were lumped by da same British. Hope you know South Africa are not as they were, the Zulus and the other tribes were lumped together and now they are making headway. Even Great Britain itself they are not how God created them. We all know GB is da combination of England, SCotland and da rest. U are just saing this because yu are a hopeless Biafran. U wanted to separate befor because u saw oyel but u were flogged. Please let us stop giving silly excuses and let us make our country work. One naija jare.
I am 100% sure that the people of Biafra are not hopeless as you said, but your tribe is the hopeless tribe that have the conviction that they will die an untimely death if Biafra becomes a country. Unlike you, i am not insane, for the past 98 years, you have been trying to force this marriage down the throat of an unwilling people and it is not working. Try another formula like disintegration which is a sure bait the only solution to the situation we found ourselves today. Although your tribe's existence here on earth depends on the people of Biafra so you will oppose it.I am feeling the the great fear that surrounded you now at the mention of disintegration. Calm down it won't happen this night.
Kindly cross check your history records again, BRITAIN didn't amalgamate any other country they colonized except Nigeria. No need to go further on that.
