This news was posted yesterday..it looks like we will continue reading this till the end of the year. This was meant to happen once naira was floated because no more hoarding of dollars and the demand for it was reduced due to the high exchange rate. lt was achieved at the expense of the shrinked economy. I am sure many of these airlines witnessed reduced patronage due to the naira floating. It is however a good thing that IATA does not rank Nigeria as defaulting nation but has this improved the life of the common man?
I know I will be termed a hater for this but someone should explain how this has improved living conditions for Nigerians because that's what really matters.

You couldn't even pretend well. Remove the veil and show your true self cheesy

You probably said this because you think I am obedient?? Well you are wrong. if you are frank with yourself...you will know this istration is .asking life difficult for most Nigerians while enriching theirs.

This is a nice one. Am thinking this became possible due to the floating of the naira. No more hoarding of dollars??

Even though I am not a er of the current government, we should give them credit for their good work whenever they do well in any field.

I agree with you. They did well on this. The difference is that those that the government will never see anything wrong in whatever it does even when it is very obvious that the government is not doing well in certain aspects. They still them blindly. True patriots will tell you exactly what you are doing right or wrong no matter whose ox is gored. The ones here think the president is perfect. He is always right.

When I was growing up we use to have between 3 to 6 dogs in our house at any point in time because my dad loved dogs. I doubt if it would have been the same now considering the state of the economy. I don't blame people giving up their dogs because it is better to give them up for better care elsewhere instead of them suffering with you. I can imagine how hard such a decision will be to take. You won't understand until you have spent time with dogs and bonded with them. It is like letting a part of you go.

Is that why things are failing apart?

So good. This AI is Godsent. The free version is just enough for an academia. It was a saving grace for me albeit it gives you sound foundation to build your core work on. I am still surprised the free version is not monetised yet.

They know that once the renovation is done.
There is no shop for them again. Only those with Government connection will be allocated the new shops.

So that you will use strike to fustrate them. These things are not hard. Just make the country attractive to the citizens first. Then others will want to come and have a taste of it.

Be calm with our bosses on the road?

Abeg wetin concern soldiers with family people, when you peep into the car and see family u ask few questions politely n let them go, stop harassing citizens going about their lawful businesses!

Do you also realise that criminals can use the same method to fool them? am not saying these people are criminals..am only saying calmness in situations like this one would have avoided escalating to this level. There is no point arguing with a man holding a gun. If they kill you...jailing them will not bring you back to those who loved you. It is just common sense.

These people self. You are shouting with people who are usually unreasonable. They are lucky they met the ones with a bit of decorum. Women and their sharp mouth will end up putting their husband in a tight position. Simple dialogue and a calm head in situations like this can avail for much. It is just common sense. It doesn't mean you don't know your right.

Why am I seeing some people commenting on any thread I open? Or does the block button have an expiry date? Nairaland has been a bit bearable since the block button was introduced.

I knew this was not true even before it was countered by statisense. Why people enjoy living in deceit is beyond me. It is now clear what Reno job is with this present Government. Even the nairaland APC merchants were already swelling with pride. Very shameful.
When something is working... everyone will feel it.
Na good work dey sell itself. Not by force.
We all want Nigeria to work but right now Nigeria is not close to it at all!

Good one. The Government of any country owe their citizens protection from these kind of schemes. There was an investment platform a friend introduced me to. When I wanted to , the company noticed my IP was from UK. They sent a prompt asking me to confirm I am not a citizen of the United Kingdom otherwise I won't be allowed to use their service. That was a deal breaker for me. Sure enough...the scheme collapsed after 2 months.
They denied me registration because they know the UK Governments will come for them if they try that shit with it's citizens.
These things persist in Africa because the leaders turn a blind eye to it.

If you are not ready to pay 77k immediately why announcing it? You expected them to keep quiet while you go around bragging that Corpers are now receiving 77k? Now you are punishing them for asking for what was promised them?..some people above are blaming them? The oppression in Nigeria is too much
We are not serious in this country.

A working refinery does not need all these press publications. Fuel lifting from their depot is enough evidence. Not newspaper celebrations.

Every country always feels this way. But the reality begs to differ. I like the way the SA Government is fearless and resolute in their dealings with the US government. However, they don't stand a chance in any diplomatic row, trade war or other wars with the US except cricket and rugby perhaps grin

This happened yesterday. The American ship was anchored (like Car parked) when the Portuguese ship collided with it. Look like a terrorist attack or engine malfunction because about 9 other ships es that same place earlier and all adjusted their sailing to avoid the anchored ship except this one that just went straight into it.

This your headline is wrong.
If I park my car by the side of the road and another driver came and rammed into my car..does that mean I collided with the car that rammed into me?
