When APL comes out, how some of d people that returned the extra transport allowance, but ‘no show’ for them, be trying to explain to NNPC that they are honest people.

YOU GUYS SHOULD FORGET ABOUT COURT OR NO COURT,THE RECRUITMENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.. THEY HAVE EXPERIENCED CONTRACT STAFF TO DO THE JOBS, AND THEY CANT JUST NEGLECT THEM TO BRING NEW PEOPLE THAT WILL REQUIRE HUGE MONEY TO TRAIN, FOR 6 MONTHS WITH SALARY INCLUSIVE...
Did you just rise up from the dead? Where have you been when people have been sharing news here, from NNPC Twitter , where the GMD said they will soon conclude the recruitment? Now, I will send you back to wherever you came out from.

Here is a link to what he said about court cases and litigations and how they have been able to settled them outside court. The GMD even went ahead to praise the legal department of NNPC for that because, settling of cases outside court saves them alot of money.probably that stupid PDP barrister has been settled outside court. Hence the reason for no news on the court sitting as of the 29th of last month as we expected https://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2019/11/05/nnpc-saves-over-3bn-from-arbitrations-kyari/
In the link you shared, there was no mention of the barrister or the court case. Don’t try to create any story from your imagination. This is what we have all been trying to debunk thruout this thread—imaginative ‘sauces’. The court case may still be on.

As always, I found the GMD’s choice of words interesting.
“we’ll SOON CLOSE OUT on our recent recruitment exercise”
Considering that the term “closing out the process” does not only refer to the sending out of employment letters and/or email notifications but the completion of medicals and a 3-week orientation programme bringing the recruitment process to an end.
It is safe to say all this would happen SOON
At this point, if there is no specific time frame mentioned, even if it is from the GMD’s mouth, all na still ‘sauce’. Next year can still be regarded as ‘soon’. I doubt that the whole process of APL distribution, medicals, orientation and other resumption of work bureaucracies, which can span several weeks, will occur towards or around the Christmas and New Year festivities. If APL doesn’t come out by mid-November, I doubt if people can resume work this year.
But the good news is that the exercise is still on. However, the issue of whether merit will be strictly used for majority of the slots still remains a concern. The recruitment has stalled too long for it not to be tainted.

Well, I was wanting to say this a long time ago, I hope am wrong anyway.
For those of us that had their interview on the 4th, if you can still , their was this tall HR guy who was directing the candidates in block Ć to ensure the verification process was smooth. A lady managed to leave out her original waec result but came along with photocopies. The guys responsible for verification rejected her but then she met up with the guy I mentioned above. In addressing the problem he asked the lady if she can email the original copy before 12th December. She said yes. So he now directed the verification guys to include the clause on the lady's file.
I have my thoughts, I already drew my conclusions as to resumption and APL alert after that incident.
You are free to do the same.
The way it is going, it looks like this guy has been the most authentic ‘sauce’ ever since, and we ignored him all this while? Could 12th or around 12th December be the date of APL?

Yeah....make sure you enjoy the money well well, this life has a way of dealing with everybody, d honest ones, d dishonest one & Even thieves who hide behind excuses of plenty. Follow ur heart my brother..nobody gives a fuvk but karma
Please who is the the thief? What does Karma have to do here?
‘I’m sleeping, oblivious of the environment, but I have a habit of opening my mouth while sleeping. Someone comes around, puts a teaspoon of honey in my mouth, and I subconsciously taste something sweet, sip in the honey, and swallow it. Then later, the person taps me in my slumber and asks me to return the honey that I have already swallowed, but I ignore him and continue my sleep.’
This is an analogy of what that has happened with NNPC transport money. How am I a thief in this instance?

I refunded NNPC double payment on Tuesday to King's Access Bank as given but uptil now king has not acknowledge the receipt of the refund.
I am beginning to think I was scammed. who else has refunded the money?
You have not even gotten the job yet, and you are returning money. In business, people make losses and move on. If NNPC paid you excess by mistake, don’t you feel NNPC will accept it as their loss and move on? Do even know that the excess excess money you were paid is like a grain of sand in a beach, when you compare that meager amount to NNPC’s revenue? I have been paid thrice, and I still don’t mind a fourth one. And even if King-Anyam himself calls me to return money, I will turn a deaf ear and maybe feign I was too ill or busy to do the transaction, and so I won’t return any money until I see my APL. You cannot be queried if you say you were ill or not chanced to send the money back; no body knows your private life. You need wisdom in this life my brother. Don’t let your desperation for NNPC job turn you to ‘mumu’. I can only return money when they say I have to return it or else I won’t get APL. Trust me, if NNPC or Federal Goverment wants to pay those not yet paid, they have excess of money to do that. It will not be from the money you returned. When N-POWER people are collecting 30k every month for doing nothing, you are returning free money they dashed you. So, by returning the money, were you trying to impress NNPC so as to secure the job? In summary, you have been scammed of your free money by someone who needs it more than you.
In Asari Dokubo’s voice, ‘You think say you dey wise! You are a mumu man!’

Wow! So I just took a stroll to the DPR recruitment thread on Nairaland and am like What? After like 3yrs and knowing vividly of individuals that have resumed, peeps still be waiting for another list?
I'd honestly will like to advice myself and anybody interested to kindly take steps away from this recruitment, trust God for a favourable outcome, and chill away from here. The earlier our minds find rest away from this and allow APL meet us unexpected the better.
Am not trying to discourage anybody, seek legit sources if you may, but getting hooked on this following up with the theories and assumptions as they pile up might not be it gaskiya.
My two cents to everyone, I wish myself and everyone here in anticipation the very best come what may.
I don't do alcohol, so am off to get chilled bottled malt and some assorted this evening to finally say peace boy, move on!!!
Same thing I said when I was telling people to stop bringing ‘sauces’ from so-called uncle and aunties in NNPC, and people called me a saddist. Let APL come and surprise us when it wants to come. As far APL has not come out, any anyone basing his expectation on any information here is simply giving himself high BP. At this point, on this thread, I will more appreciate funny memes than any so-called ‘confirmed sauce’.

UPDATE!!!
I have been a strong believer that the refund is a scam but today I reached out to a .
ITS NOT A SCAM!!!
I shared the number with him and the first thing he said was “This is a priority ”. I tried getting info of the but he refused to share anything with me. He keep saying it’s a priority acct. I explained that people got a text saying they should refund some NNPC double payment to that and asked if he could help me ascertain if it was a scam. He said “A priority cannot be used to run scam as it’s mostly used by authorized government officials”.
IT IS NOT SCAM!!!
How are we sure you are not the scammer?

I strongly feel we Nairalanders should provoke a social media storm acclaiming the recruitment process as transparent and fair. We should also point to the logical weaknesses of the arguments put forward against it. We should act fast. How can age restrictions be unfair when so many other parastatals do the same? How is this recruitment different? Apart from age, there are certainly some other factors that screen out candidates such as health and physical disabilities, why are those not contested against, after all, we are in Nigeria where it is twice more likely to be victims of these conditions. Let's act fast, we can influence the opinion of the public before it circulates.
Nor be only ‘social media storm.’ Some people go kill theirself for this NNPC matter. Don’t go and be using for time for other meaningful things. As if you life depends on only NNPC.

I have just been appointed as a Senior Legislative Aide on GL 14 at the National Assembly with a nice salary and several opportunities while still waiting for APL. I have accepted the appointment but I'm confused about what to do should APL come. Should I remain in national assembly and network upwards or move to NNPC. I am very optimistic and full of faith that we will be successful in the quest for APL.
If I were you, I would decline the appointment now even when APL has not come. What are you even doing in that National Assembly sef? Shey you want advice abi?

Hello Chukxx,
How are you doing today?I have been away from the thread for about a week so I just saw this comment today.
As regards the recruitment, I believe the alerts being received by applicants show that the Executive have started taking action on the process after the committee formed to look at the list sent their report last week.
At this point, no one has any further update as it lies within the purview of the President who doubles as the Minister of Petroleum. The payments show that the new salary scale has been approved as Panalyst and a few others have said here and an order has been given for the process to continue and bring it to its logical conclusion which will be the release of the list of successful applicants.
It is not true however, that all those being paid the transport allowances are the successful ones.I can safely say that it is just the corporation trying to conclude that aspect of the recruitment.
Someone also mentioned in his/her comment on this thread that the Presidency is too big to bother about something as little as NNPC recruitment; that assertion is faulty because as the main cash cow of the country, everything about it is of huge importance to the government of the day.Couple that with the fact that NNPC is under the Petroleum Ministry whose Minister is the President himself.Where else will the authorization to implement or cancel the list and by extension the recruitment exercise come from?Food for thought.
Have a brilliant day,everyone!

The people in-charge told me that there's no APL for dispatch at the moment.
If it will come via DHL then take this from me that these careless whispers here are much ado about nothing.
Ok what was the purpose of posting this DHL picture now?

Nigerians sha. To satisfy una nor easy. This is Brazil we are talking about. The value of Firminho alone(let’s say £90M)cancels out the value of our three best players- Ndidi(35M) + Iwobi(30M) + Chukwueze(25M). In addition, they have Ederson, Jesus, Arthur, Thiago Silva, Casemiro, Fabinho, Dani Alves, etc. We should be satisfied with this result. Without Neymar, this same team cleaned out the Copa America. Rohr tried abeg.
