Frosti: ^^No, perfection alludes to a state of zero mistakes or one in which flaws are not tolerated.

And that as a human is not possible, cos human nature by itself is inherently flawed.

In that example you gave, it just means you are BETTER than me AT PLAYING FOOTBALL. It does not necessarily mean you are perfect.

Once again: Perfection is an illusion.

Also, truthislight is correct and exactly the same thing I do - using many or all available translations but most of them online after sticking to my favourites, like 5 translations I have come to love. For MOST available English translations Online, please visit:

1. http://bible.cc/matthew/23-9.htm and
2. http://www.biblegateway.com/age/?search=2%20Corinthians%2011:17-18&version=EXB

Using from the #2, you should be able to love The Expanded Bible. Enter a verse from scriptures and see how it translates.

I hope you enjoy STUDYING God's word in truth and spirit.

Oahray: nah... It should only be edited. I think she should relax and read everything again, from chapter one, slowly, and try to touch certain parts of her post.

She did well in my opinion, considering the short notice and the pressure to perform.
we the audience ebi readers can wait for the end time to get a close shot at the best from you writers.

let her read from chapter one, and see the usefulness and reason behind every created characters.

she will then have noticed where the climate pointer is at the moment, shifting the pointer from any present speculations will only raise the tempo, curiocity, suspense, and will improve tense in plot.

however care is to taken when shifting a pointer, it must always go up but when otherwise it must stop at a suspense, dat what the chicks have always done here.

she should learn the ropes of the detection club

Ishilove: Nice work Unix, considering you had a very short time to work. Thumbs up. smiley

My observations:
Some typos. The one I can is- 'staring', not starring.

Wrong usage of verbs. E.g- "Jack 'jammed' his hands on his thighs.' You stick your appendages into places. E.g Jack's foot was jammed between the door and the wall.

'Jack slapped his thighs in excitement' will be better. Consider revising.

'David bombed into something'- the right verb is 'bumped'. A bomb is a noun, 'bump' could be a noun, adjective or verb, but in the context in which it is used, it is a verb. You bump into things, while you bomb things. KABOOM!!! grin

Wrong use of comparatives- 'this is badder than I thought.' Very wrong.

Good, better, best. Bad, worse, worst. So 'worse' is what should be in that sentence. Unless na Engli-igbo you dey talk. grin

Storyline confusion- Sharon is a barrister, but her medical knowledge is above the layman's knowledge. An explanation on how she knows so much about the human anatomy is needed.

'Sharon poked the corpse's ribs with her gloved hands'. Why are her hands gloved? Where did the gloves come from? At what point did she wear the gloves?

Please read chapter six, seven and eight very carefully. Lucan was not shot in Ibe's house. Osborne road is where Koko bought a house for Amina. In chapter 8, Lucan wakes up in Amina's house in Osborne road. The shooting takes place in Amina's house. Two days later, Ibe and his wife are killed in their house in the GRA. LUCAN could not possibly have been shot in in Ibe's house because he was already in hospital, fighting for his life. The policemen discussing in chapter 8 confirmed this.

Kabon Tijani did not call the policemen. The policemen were already present when he arrived Osborne road. We shall assume they were called in by concerned neighbours who heard the sound of shots coming from Amina's house.

Lucan is no longer a fugitive. He is now under police custody again, that's why his colleagues were more concerned about him than the shooting. They even helped Kabon load Lucan into the vehicle and drove him to the hospital.

'The limping boy was grinning'-Please note that the limping character is not a boy, he is a man. He is first introduced in chapter six in the mortuary. He makes a reappearance in chapters 7 and 8. He uses the code 'Rain check'. I think this character should be developed because he is an angel of death; wherever he shows up, he leaves dead bodies behind.

Also note that the identity of Madam K has been revealed in chapter 8. In addition, any person that can make a serving honourable member of government quake with fear must be a very powerful person. HIM is not your ordinary, next-door villain.

Consider revising your chapter because it doesn't sync with the preceding chapters.

However, you did good because you worked under short notice, so kudos to you. smiley
it takes just another follow up to restor the deed she sealed

Mazi_Omenuko: Read the .

Nice work, owing to the fact that you had less time.

However, you introduced a lot of new characters. Merging this new characters with the numerous ones already created made your work a little bit complex.

There are few scenes that needs more explanations: you introduced a Mrs Ajoke, and then made her almost omni-science.
Sharon was supposed to be a barrister, the 'rib' explanations was a little bit out of place.
You made our 'almighty' HIM look just like any other common character.

There are typos and some grammatical errors; I was equally guilty of this, so I will let Larry and Ishi have a field day in that section.

Once again, good work.

#...you killed Ayodele, in a bizarre way! What's with you guys and murder? Y'all need Jesus!..#
she didnt introduce more than one character, just like we have discovered.

larrysun, not all writers are masters of all genres.

her update is to me better, if deleted.

as in it fall short of the previous standards.
uniquesty, i might not b frequent in this section but have always followed this story.

for the fact that you made mention of HIM in an ordinary manner killed my joy.

my cents is that it shou,d be deleted.

I channel 190 totally agree to the following and recommend it to all men in universe.

Have you ever thought of getting a Nigerian girl for a wife?
You are not alone and you are not mistaken in that regard.
You might be a foreigner living or working in Nigeria.
Or it might be you are in your home country over there in US, UK, Asia, Australia or in the Caribbean.
On the other hand, you might be an African either from Ghana, Kenya, Cameroun or South Africa .
Or maybe you are a Nigerian guy, at home or in the Diaspora, contemplating marriage. Whichever category you belong, whatever nationality, race or background, I can tell you it's an amazing experience to be married to a Nigerian girl.
And this for good reasons.

Nigerian women are unique in many ways.
They realize the importance of brain over beauty and combine both well to make, announce or maintain their stance in society.

A Nigerian woman knows how to speak her mind and get her point across without fear. Being educated or not, has no impact on their ability to express themselves.

They are very versatile and can be a typical African woman, able to provide all the needs of a typical African man, while simultaneously exhibiting all the defining qualities of a westernized woman.
A typical Nigerian woman can be as modern as can be, without losing the unique qualities that makes her an African. (This is evident in the use of language, mode of dressing, hairstyles, cooking etc.)

A typical Nigerian woman knows how to be a LADY.
Physically they are usually well endowed with all the qualities any man would WOW for.
They have all the right curves in the right places, and know what to do with their endowments.
They are beautiful Africans who take pride in their beauty.

Despite the differences in ethnicity, Nigerian women have attributes that distinguish them as Nigerians, not only among other Africans, but also amongst their African-American sisters.
The typical Nigerian woman, knows and owns her attributes. She knows when, where and how to use them to her advantage.

She knows she's the backbone of her family, and will respect her mate/spouse to accord him his dues as the head of the family.
She knows she doesn't need to be subservient to earn the 'respect' of her mate.
Having been taught from childhood the value of family (Nigeria being a country that values family unions), she gracefully respects her elders, her family , her spouse and in-laws.
For instance a Nigerian woman who marries into an existing household, will not begrudge the fact that she has to respect the existing offsprings and wife of her spouse, even if she chooses to disassociate with the first wife.

The typical Nigerian woman takes pride in her Africanism, and displays this in her versatility and ability to wear African attires, and hairdo with grace and gallant to whatever occasion she deems fit.

They know what's hip and happening worldwide and Nigerian women are considered the best dressed African women.
They know how to dance, regardless of whether it's at a cultural festival, traditional or western party or charity ball.

They realize the importance of raising their children well and make sure to instill good manners, respect, confidence, ambition and a sense of responsibility in them at very young ages.
No matter the level of education and/or exposure, a typical Nigerian woman doesn't throw away her cultural or traditional attributes, but combines them with what she's learnt anew, in enhanced ways, to boost her relationships with others.

Typical Nigerian women know how to, and takes pride in their ability to cook. They know their men love good and tantalizing African dishes and take pleasure in satisfying their men's palate.
A typical woman who has a house help may allow the maid to cook for her children, but will make sure she cooks for her husband.
They become very proficient with as many dishes and cuisines as possible.
From native Nigerian dishes to African and continental dishes, she is horned in the preparation and presentation to her guests. She is taught table manners, etiquette, home-making and men management, so to speak.
Hardly you find a Nigerian girl that doesn't know what it takes to keep her man at home and comfortable.
This is something you find in every part of Nigeria.
From the girls in the riverine communities of the Niger Delta to the Fulani cattle- rearers daughters in Sokoto.
Go from Obudu Ranch in Ogoja to the River Niger in Onitsha; go on to Enugu in the Eastern heartland to the streets of Port Harcourt; continue your trip to the West and meet the Yoruba ladies in Lagos, follow them to Ibadan, then move from Ilorin into Kogi and into the Middle-belt and meet the women of Idoma, Langtang, Gboko and Makurdi and trace your path into Kano, Kaduna in Dutse: you would have had a refreshing feelof what feminine beauty abounds in the Heart of Africa Nigeria. You would then agree with me that Nigeria isn't the giant of Africa for nothing. She has what it takes to retain that title at least with regards to feminine gems.

Nigerian women are very ambitious and mostly independent.
Nigerian women are very entrepreneurial, and some are even the main breadwinners in their homes.
Finally Nigerian women are very dedicated to their families.

N.B: I also recommend the single ladies on Nairaland.com to Bachelors in that, the forum have the most cautious ladies online; wise in their relations and post; and finally very wary of blackmail so they are very cautious of their dealings.
All they need to be real is trust.

Dubem its it quite alright but your knight has no solid plan as to how he should go about defending you.
Take for instance "behind every successful man, there is a woman".
Let me ask you, is it 'atunma Abagana' that is behind the thousand unsuccessful ones to each successful one?
wrong analysis.
Am not defending ven, but telling all the men reasons why they must treat them girls well.

The unsuccessful men, are unsuccessful because they fail to recognize the power of a woman.

For every man to be successful you need to utilize the positive and negative power of a lady to succeed, positive power if you can't succeed before treating her fine, negative power if you still fail to succeed with her positive influence.

What I'm saying is that there exist women influence.
