YBNL boss, rapper Olamide has issued a statement on why he unfollowed music artiste Lyta and also allowed him to exit his record label.

Read statement below.

1. LYTA CLAIMS HE HAS SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO SIGN HIM
Olamide said Lyta told him he has someone who wants to sign him and requested he wants to leave and he gave him his blessings.

Olamide said even though he knows Lyta was lying, he still wished him well regardless and then Lyta goes about saying different Negative things about him.

2. LABEL CALENDAR/MUSIC RELEASE PLAN
Every label with 2 or more artistes has a Calendar that they follow in order to push the various artistes for equality sake and it seems Lyta was not cool with that.

According to Baddo, if one keep pushing just 1 Artiste only, how would the label and every artiste sign under it grow?

At least, Lyta was popping in 2018 with 2 singles “Time” and “Self Made” with videos and now it’s another person’s turn to get that attention and Lyta must have been pissed, hence decided to leave not ing other artistes too waited patiently he was the one getting the whole attention last year.

3. LYTA MIGHT BE JEALOUS OF FIREBOY’s SUCCESS LATELY
This is a killer point and as a blogger, you don’t have to say everything before we pick our point.

Fireboy‘s massive success might have triggered something inside of Lyta. Lyta is talented no doubt but the boy might think the Label is not giving him the privilege to drop songs anytime he feels like, song that can actually take him places and on top of his craft.

At least, others didn’t die when Lyta was popping and going places in 2018 but it seems he doesn’t want others to get ahead of him.

Lyta’s decision to leave must have been because of this reason.

4. INSTAGRAM UNFOLLOW ISSUE
I don’t want Negative vibes around me or on my Page and I decided to unfollow and let peace reign, the YBNL boss said.

In his word, Baddo said “If you know me too well, you will know I don’t want Negative energy or bad vibes around me“.

Bad energy or pity face affects me badly and I can’t help but scrutinize my page to avoid any issue.

From our Investigation, Olamide unfollowed so many people and even changed some settings on his Instagram page – You can check to confirm.

5. ONLY FIREBOY HAS CONTRACT IN YBNL
Olamide confirmed only Fireboy has a contract with YBNL, as he’s just helping others so they can have a smooth ride in the highly competitive music industry.

I just want them to grow nothing more – Olamide confirmed before dropping off the call.

Lol, not all of us tell such ridiculous lies. It is a deeply personal question/enquiry though, so I wouldn't be surprised if some say that sarcastically as a way of telling you to mind your own business. I mean it's nobody's business when or how someone lost their virginity. In fact, it sounds perverted & voyeuristic.

I don't know why most females, if not all of them always give a rape scenario of how they lost their virginity, like all the females I've met always tell the same thing. Funny as it got, I attended a show, got some female s, when we got to all that virginity part, they all said they were raped,

I hope am not the only one been bombarded these lies??

Following a tweet by a handle, @Official_ASUU, the Academic Staff Union of Universities has said it does not have an official Twitter handle and has no plans of going on strike anytime soon.

The had tweeted, “Thinking of going on another three months strike action..” which received a lot of backlash, as the Nigeria Twitter community perceived the handle as the official Twitter handle of the union.
The union, which spoke through its President, Prof.Biodun Ogunyemi, in an interview with our correspondent on Monday, also said it denounces the handle and was set to take further action against those operating the .

Ogunyemi said, “First, ASUU does not have an official Twitter handle. Those who are operating that handle are fraudsters. So, we are issuing a statement today to denounce that handle, and that is to enable us to take further action against those operating that . Arising from that, it means that nobody should take seriously anything posted from that .”

On the possibility that ASUU could resume the strike that was called off ‘conditionally’ on , Ogunyemi said, “We are not yet at that stage. We are engaging government on how to implement the Memorandum of Action. We are working with government to activate the MOA, to make sure that all the provisions of the MOA are met, within the timeframe.

“Our students have nothing to fear because our are comionate and so are not looking at immediate action, instead they are engaging the government on the MOA. And at this moment some of our are making sacrifices. Some have lost their annual leave and some that are supposed to go on sabbatical have elected to stay behind to cover lost ground.”

In the last two elections, the contest for Nigeria’s presidency has felt like it’s been split into two different races.

While the country’s two dominant parties—the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)—have won a vast majority of the votes, the country’s several other parties largely scrap to finish third. As Quartz Africa has reported, the dominance of two major parties makes the chance of a “third party” candidate winning the vote very slim.

Yet, even the race of the underdogs threw up a surprise this year with a little-known US-based pastor, Nicholas Felix of the People’s Coalition Party (P), finishing third behind the top two parties. The 37-year old pastor is originally from Edo state in southern Nigeria and holds a doctorate degree in divinity from CICA International University and Seminary in New York. He had little political experience when moved to the United States after winning a US visa lottery in 2003 and now leads New York-based church, Miracle Center International.

Felix’s win is both surprising and embarrassing for the much higher profile candidacies of other “third party” aspirants, including Kingsley Moghalu, a former deputy governor of Nigeria’s central bank, Fela Durotoye, a popular motivational speaker and coach and Yele Sowore, activist and publisher of Sahara Reporters. None of them finished in the top seven positions.

But most political analysts have a much more plausible theory: voters might have made a mistake.

Given that ballot papers for presidential elections in Nigeria list all the parties fielding candidates (73 in this case) in alphabetical order, Felix’s P party was placed just above the leading opposition party PDP (People’s Democratic Party), led by former vice president Atiku Abubakar. Further, the colors of P’s party logo are exactly the same as the PDP’s. And with party logos, rather than candidate photos or names listed on the ballot paper, P’s conspicuous placement and colors are likely to have been a big factor.

But regardless of how his votes came about, Felix’s “victory” is Pyrrhic, as the elections were the latest reminder of just how much work third party candidates need to do to match the two major parties. One often suggested way to try to do that is for third party candidates to pool resources and form a coalition. It’s a move that has borne some success in the past: the ruling APC was itself formed after a merger of four independent political parties two years before it won the 2015 presidential elections.

The Independent National Electoral Commisslon (INEC) says of its staff were abducted and raped during Saturday’s elections.

In a statement on Friday, Festus Okoye, INEC commissioner for information and voter education, said while the elections were generally peaceful, there was “high level of violence” in a few places in addition to “the subjugation of some of our electoral officials to threats, harassment, intimidation, assault, abduction and even rape.”

“The Commission condoles with the families of its ad-hoc staff who lost their lives while on this national assignment, as well as other Nigerians who died in the course of the elections,” he said.

“It also expresses its deep regrets and sympathy for all victims of this mindless violence. We stand with them in these difficult times.”

He also said the conduct of some security agencies in the elections is a matter of “serious concern”.

“While acknowledging their professionalism n the deployment of election personnel and materials in a safe and timely manner, the conduct of certain of the security agencies in some states is a matter of serious concern to the Commission,” he said.

“This matter will be further discussed directly with the Inspector-General of Police within the ambit of the lnter-Agency Consultative Committee on Election Security (ICCES).

A young man identified as Chimezie Dike has been reportedly stabbed to death for pasting campaign posters in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The deceased who had a fight with one Henry Ekeozor around 8.20pm was not a member of the All Progressives Congress but was contracted to paste the campaign posters of Collyns Owondah, a House of Representatives candidate of the party in the area.

It was learnt that the fight ensued after Henry and his mother, Ifeoma Ekeozor, a woman leader of the APC in the area, expressed dissatisfaction over the pasting of campaign posters of the House of Representatives candidate on the wall of their residence.

The fierce argument degenerated into a fight and Punch reported that Dike who was stabbed in the chest, bled to death before he was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was confirmed dead by doctors.

“The woman (Ifeoma Ekeozor) is a woman leader in the APC, while the man, whose campaign posters were being posted, is also of the same political party, but they belong to different factions of the party.

“The young man pasting the campaign poster was Chimezie Dike from the Nwangele Local Government Area of Imo State. The boy came to the street to paste the posters of a politician running for an election.

“In the process, the son of the woman leader began to quarrel with him and within a short time, the son of the woman stabbed Chimezie. He (Chimezie) died before he got to the hospital” a source identified as Dengi said.

Another eyewitness said; “The woman (Ifeoma Ekeozor) even broke a bottle during the argument. Everybody parked out of the house because a group of youths, who were not happy about the killing of the boy, went ahead to ransack people’s houses.

“A journalist staying in the building lost some of her property, including a laptop, after she left the place in a hurry to avoid being injured. The house is a three-storey building and the shop operated by the woman (Ifeoma) is on the ground floor.

“The young man pasting the poster, the woman and her son are all APC ers, but they belong to different factions. He (Chimezie) was rushed to the hospital that night, while the mother of the attacker was arrested the same day by policemen from the Azikiwe Police Station.”

how do you feel about the current state on Nigeria?
carlsmith7(m): 11:50pm On Sep 30, 2018
So, this Thursday morning, like every other one, I woke up and got prepared for the day. I boarded a cab and sitting beside me was a big booty lady. The babe was looking ok shaaa....and she's light skinned. Without hesitation, I immediately started a convo with her, we talked about makeup, I do know a lil bit( got 4 sisters)....then to fashion brands, she's quite knowledgeable I thought.
Ee exchanged numbers and that was it....I didn't call her later on as I promised I would...About 3 days later, I got a call from her..she wz like I didn't even call her again and she felt really bad, I apologized and we made arrangements to chill somewhere..
Picked her up by 7pm the next day, we just chilled basically, drank a lil liquor and all sorts but in small quantities.
We decided to go to my place after much deliberation...we got to my crib, i actually went to the bathroom to was off....we sat on the bed watching tv, I started drawing close as a sharp guy, no dulling cool......she then consented to it..we started kissing, then she decided to go wash up,while she was in the bathroom, her phone just kept beeping randomly,I didn't want to check, but I just couldn't help it.....It wasn't evn ed, only for me to check and see messages a man...Alhaji Q.....asking her when she is coming with the sperm..........as if that wasn't enough,I just scrolled the conversation a bit, and saw thank you messages from the alhaji to her about receipt of different sperms.....
I didn't know if I would panic or just gold still.....when she came out,I was like ...babe,sorry, I have to rush out my mom just called in sick...then gave her her t.fair and we left the house together, but got into different cabs...btw, her name she said was Tiffany....

WHO KNOWS WHAT WOULD HAVE BEEN MY CASE undecided
